- This is Day 2 of a 22-day cruise on the Enchanted Princess that Princess continues two different 11-day back-to-back cruises. We arrive in Toulon France and head ashore to explore. We then get back on the ship to enjoy a burger and hot tub time. The evening is filled with GREAT music and some comedy.
This is the 2nd video that contains a letter for Journey to the Secret Word. For each of the 11 days onboard the ship, we will hide a letter, find all 11 and form a three-word cruise-related phrase. Make a list of where all the letters were found and what the words are - then mail it to secret @ cruisingcanucks.ca? Enjoying catching up with the vlogs. Just off Sky Princess - beautiful ship, great service, except we were so disappointed there was no Crooner’s. Couldn’t find any bars with atmosphere. More like sitting in a too bright bar at a shopping mall - lol! Anyway, looking forward to our next 2 Princess cruises - Discovery and Sun - both with Crooners! So, yeah, was nice to see you guys hanging out there.
We agree about the lack of the Crooner’s bar on the Sky Princess. We were very glad that it was brought back on the Enchanted and newer ships.
Guys burgers are much better than the dive in, but I'll take any of them as long as I'm on one of the ships. I need to start cruising back on princes again, I'm elite I don't want to lose my status. The salty dog sounds good too.
We spent a lot of time at the Salty Dog on this voyage.
I guess I'm watching your vlogs out of order. Got it straight now. Everything looks wonderful. We'll be on the Sun Princess in early May. Barcelona to Rome. We're really looking forward to it. Especially after 10 days in Paris with a 2 day jaunt over to London.
We'll have to pack for 2 climates! Lol. It'll be our 1st Princess cruise.

We cruised with Virgin Voyages (this past August) to Toulon and they docked right in town. Only a 5min walk through a parking lot to the main part of town.

Listening to music in Crooners, the Piazza and the Crown Grill Bar is one of our favorite things to do when cruising with Princess. We also love the Jazz in Take 5 on Deck 6. We were on the Enchanted Princess in February of this year sailing to the Southern Caribbean. Watching you guys bring back such fantastic memories. Still looking for your drink package purchase. 😁

Nice editing-great advice to take the local ferry and that you do need Euros. Food looks good and crème brûlée with French madelines-nice touch! Music sounds good too! Puffer jacket people must have been Floridians, Texans or maybe from southern CA!

Ooh, I hope they have the same entertainers when we board in January, they were phenomenal! Question about dinner - did Jill enjoy her smoked salmon appetizer? That's what stood out to me on the menu and was wondering what it was like? Thanks for another great vlog!
From what we gathered most of the entertainers we done before Christmas. The smoked salmon appetizer was delicious and I would definitely order it again.

Years ago when the cruise ships were smaller, they used to be able to dock right in town, but sadly that's not the case very often anymore. Bon voyage.

We love them both. We love that Princess has production shows and generally more options for nighttime activities. However, HAL gives us a more elevated experience throughout the day.
I agree with Mrs Canuck, not the best burger. I thought it tasted more like meatloaf. I'm sure Mr Canuck loved it!

I maybe wrong but the Princess cruise seems very low key as far as the onboard experience goes, nice ship nice food though.
We find Princess does a good mix of low key or party like atmosphere. We like that there are a lot of different venues to spend your cruise the way you want.

I am going to toulon, I didn't catch how you got the small boat to take you to the other side, please explain
Once you get out of the port gates turn right. Walk on that sidewalk for around 10 minutes. At the round about turn right on Alle des Forges and head to the water. You will see a ferry stop called Toulon Station. You pay for the ferry once you get on board. Google maps says it is 800metres in total.
I'm not sure if Jill is more brave for walking on the glass walkway, or doing it in a skirt...

I think guys burgers are sadly overrated don't like them they're greasy!! and you can't beat Alfredo's pizza❤
