I love Lugansky, but this was a little dry I thought. It was really just a standard performance. He needs a bit more Barenboim for me to really like it.
It’s a little too powerful for the piece. When people play all 32, there is a typical common fault. Barenboim lacks some proper articulation and tempo consistency for example
