I recently test drove the OLA S1 Pro just for fun and I found the following issues: 1) Meh suspension 2) The front foot rest should have been a flatboard so I could carry stuff there. 3) Though the pull is nice, the initial torque starting from stand still isnt great. 4) I was told I need a password to unlock, but I cant lock, unlock, freeze the bike from app. What if someone sees your password? 5) The hill holder didnt work 6) The MOST IMPORTANT PART - inability to hold the breaks partially without cutting off the motor. I always keep my fingers on both the break levers on my activa and also press them a bit (so less that it does not hold the breaks or activate the break lights). This always keeps me in the ready position to apply the breaks and REDUCES the reaction time. But with OLA this is not adjustable and cuts off the motor as soon as you touch them which is a bummer. Even my electric cycle allows me to adjust this. 7) The looks are a hit and miss. I like and hate it at the same time. Other than the above, its a great bike sans the plastic build. I will stick to my original activa for now which despite running 60K and being 18yrs old, does the job just fine.
For point number 6 which seems to be the only major one, you can use regen braking by turning your throttle in reverse. This slows down the Scooter without cutting out power. You can use the App to lock and unlock it as an Owner, might not be able to do it on test drive vehicle.
Suspension is way better than ice scooters. On rough tarmac and small holes on road you won't feel a thing. We can unlock with password. Most of users unlock with password. Negatives which he told is user specific not a common problem in ola

Reported to customer care and the same is rectified within two days at my home by service team from ola. After that i didn't had problems except navigation. Some minor problems like screen unresponsive, unable to unlock and lock, failure to connect to Bluetooth. These got right after reset and this was told by the service person from ola. Reg navigation and map not working many times service done by ola people yet it works for a week or two and again i faced the problem. And this deficiency still remains even after complaining to ola every month for past 10 months.

I got mine on Jan 27 2023, now on 07/06/2023 it has done 7350KM. I’m a rough user as I’m working as a feild staff. I was using an Ntorq from 2019 jan with an avg fuel economy of 32-35kmpl, currently the fuel price is around ₹107 just calculate the amount of money I saved in form of fuel, and how many services should’ve done in this 7k km run. I’m getting roughly around ₹1k as electricity bill. Only thing I’ve to do is charge it and fill air on tyres in every 2 weeks. I’m using ola s1 which is getting around 97km range. The only thing I regret is not getting S1 pro 🫠.
A biased review. Seems the reviewer has a grudge against ola in general. There are issues but not as serious as he described. most complaints are minor and easily serviceable except in few cases which are bound to occur as the product is a new concept. I am using two wheelers for the past 40 years and didn't find the suspension as bad as you described. Indeed the suspension is good compared to the two wheelers i rode like Activa, ntorq etc. I feel ola s1 pro is the best scooter available in e-scooter category in terms of performance, range,power, suspension,speed and riding comfort. I expected from this channel an impartial review but now I lost that confidence now as I am using ola s1pro for the last one year.
Zigwheels should try Vida v1 pro as well, it comes with removable battery and range of 110km.Its the first scooter to come with removable battery from a big brand.

The best for my case is the iQube. If only they bring out the iQube ST already. I don't know what the secrecy is all about. My only gripe with iQube is it's hub mounted motor. If they launch iQube middrive version, I am sold !
I purchased olas1 in Feb23 it was not charged for a few weeks in vacation mode it got zero charge and company is saying batter is not rechargable after total lost and u need to purchage new battery although it is under warranty. This scooter worth is gurbage not advice to purchage

Maine complain raise kiya and 1 mahine bad kam se kam 20-30 calls karne ke bad wo log gadi pick krke center leke gye. Uske bad phir 2 mahine tak 100 se bhi jada calls krne ke bavjud, koi response nhi aaya. And ab wo bol rhe hai ki apko 85k pay karne padenge because battery is dead . 5 sal ki warranty wagarah sab bewkuf bana rhe the. I want to inform everyone , ye sab kahani and propoganda chalate hai bechte time.

I wanna buy ola s1 pro kya ye capable hai Gangotri or kedarnath dham ke liye or kya milega degi up hills Himalayan peaks, glaciers and dense forests, and is one of highest pilgrimages in India (approx 3,415 m). Other than its divine atmosphere please clear my doubt 😭 bhai 🥺pillion or without pillion what the milega on kedarnath mountains 💗

Ola gives new issues every week. Its not reliable to take it any where. My personal experience in 2 months 1. First day on delivery - charger did not work 2. Had to wait for 1 week to replace charger. 3. After new charges received - charged the vehicle and it gave a warning thay batter issue coming to halt. 4. While going to office in mid way it stopped saying battery issue Coming to halt and stopped, nevwr switch on 5. To book an appointment for replair, ola app does not show an appointment availability for 2 weeks 6. Personally toed the vehicle and deliverd for repair and when callws customer care for update , customer care says vehicle was not delivered for repair. 7. Found that my vehicle was 30 away, went to service centre and personally requested and got my issues fixed after 3 days. 8. No bill for money you pay for toe 9. Got error message that vehicle is locked in trffic signal, crwated panic situation and repates evry time i drive 10. Once i out the side stand, vehicle side lock for enabled ans says vehicle is locked and could not swith. On. 11. When ever you call customer care its buys and they do not pick or they commit to call back, but never call back. I think it enough of today. Lastly i feel jealous for my neighbour who has ather nd tvs without single iasue after 1 year. Feel ashamed some time for wrong selection
Change your Service Center and get a full check done for all the issues once. There are many good technicians who ensure no issues. Just check different Service Center.
Riding posture is so awkward. Taller seat height might have made it better to sit. All these EVs look so cramped for tall riders. Look at the way he sits, He must move back so much to sit properly, which then will make pillion not find space to sit. Only reason why I am hesitant to buy any EV Scooter is this.
Does anyone facing issue with heating. Im facing a big issue with heating. When we are in a hury and you are living in a hilli area we will put it in hyper mode but after some time it will automatically change into eco mode saying 5hat it is over heating. I had traped in lots of place because of this issue. Ola should bring an update for this issue.@ola
@@atulkumarsharma76371. Flat footboard is only because of lower battery size. 2. Not sure about suspension 3. Grab rail is hardly a big issue. Hub motors will be a pain for users over time. We are used to getting out punctures fixed within 1-2 kms of where it happens. But no street side guy will touch your rear tyre if it carries a hub motor. And you know how good Ola service is. Also, I would be very apprehensive of water intake into the rear tyre. I never suggest anyone to buy a hub motor e scooter.
@@deepakostwal2905 now i have driven 6350 kms... It is a good machine which requires a gentle touch. Problem which you will face is service issue as there are limited numbers of service centres and lack of service technicians. So it will take more time to solve an issue. Also parts availability is an issue most of times service centres do not have the required parts so they will order it and then upon availability they will change the part. Best thing about this scooter is the riding experience it is just amazing.
Finally a good journo on zigwheels. Precise, crisp and to the point. Hope the others can take some lessons from him.

Driven 12200kms till now. My experience with ola has been good. Some problems faced but overall a great product.

They haven't. It will be a 4.5 kW hub-mounted Motor.
