Yup. He said in Toad's Midway Madness that Magic Lamps weren't worth buying because of the 30 coin cost, and he even said that again earlier in this board. You know, despite the fact that his refusal to buy a Magic Lamp in Shy Guy's Jungle Jam contributed to him losing that board.
If Chugga went the right way, he would of got Jon's star before him (Jon wouldn't have enough for his lamp) and then Chugga could of gotten the next star that appeared really close. That was one HUGE mistake Chugga.
He couldn't have seen the second star coming. And besides, Chugga can just warp to that star to stop Jon getting the next one through a battle game or something
