😂Tim’s reaction to 5:37- “No no no no I didn’t mean to do that!” Yeah if I accidentally pressed A blindly on a Yes or No question like that I’d freak out too!
Yeah, but some of the other games just have a way higher concentration of just as good minigames. Case in point, Mario Party 8 and 9's minigames were fantastic and arguably some of the best in the series.
I mean people shit on Mario Party 9 because it's so different but I honestly think it's one of the best Mario Party games, especially because the minigames are so good.
It's honestly a good selection of games. My only gripe is that it doesn't have as many as other Mario Parties. Mario Party 9 and 10 definitely have some of the best minigames in the series.
SomeWAAAAAAA over the WAAAAAAAnbow A Yoshi Eating all the fruit on his lap SO HAPPY! SomeWAAAAAAA over the WAAAAAAAnbow Two birds fly Daisy and Luigi sit in the clouds Waluigi always wins WAA WA!
Wah is bigger superstar than Luigi! Always! (I love how that's an actual plotpoint in *Mario & Sonic at the Summer 2012 London Olymic games 3DS*~) (Yeah, the Wario bros. were simply after some money and finding some people who "were in dept to them". It was spectacular~)
I swear that’s as loud as an Xbox 360’s loud buzzing noise it makes if you attempt to keep playing on it after it displays the Red Ring Of Death. Do this and its fans just scream!
Luigi nearly cost Jon and Tim the game by doing something. "Have fun cooperating with the AI." Famous last words, especially when one considers how much Luigi wanted to run into Jon in the previous minigame. I remembered Pushy Penguins, but I can't believe I forgot about Chomp Romp. It's a lot more fun than Throw Me A Bone from MP6 which I also liked.
There may be more button-mashing than usual, but honestly I think aside from some of those, this game actually has the strongest lineup of mini-games in the series. I can still remember a lot of them vividly
+Lonelynightm Wait, what does "911" mean? and what is so special about the 9th of November? I'm joking. Althoug it is worth pinting out how 'merican those 2 terms are.
+Neil Underwood Pretty sure most people who speak English will know what 9/11 is. It isn't like the rest of the world wasn't effected. Hell in Canada they mourn on 9/11 like they were attacked.
Lonelynightm I guess, but the whole 911 number thing changes from country to country. Some countries have the 3 numbers together for efficiency. And while i don't want to be disrespectful, the whole 11th of September 2001 tragedy was less so the fact that 3000 (correct me if I'm wrong) people were killed but more so that it showed that America wasn't this impenetrable fortress that the world thought it was. The fear was likely more of the shock.
+JJ48Se7en 9/11 literally changed the mindset of America. Yes, it happened 15 years ago, but we still feels it's effects today. Increased airport security? 9/11. Increased paranoia? 9/11. Every single increase in security for both foreign and domestic affairs have centered from 9/11. Yes, it's American centered but with the influence that America has on the world, out relations in foreign affairs effects everyone and everything. Don't discount something just because it happened 15 years ago. It will effect you for the rest of your life and even beyond that.
THE NEW MARIO PARTY 4 LOTTERY!! Introducing the new Miracle Capsule. Don't worry, we're not going to tell you what it does because chances are that you will never get 3 of 'em. Anyways I did a tag team on this map and Waluigi got 17 stars for me. Ironic.
+Fusion Luigi first time playing I won the best prize three times in a row. Also Yoshi got the 5 turns lottery6 star too. and then so far the best prize was one twice.
+lvl5Vaporeon Neither have me or my dad, and we always go for 50 turns. Seeing the Miracle capsules used is a Miracle in its self. I guess that's why it is called that.
Nintendo should have made it so if you roll a "9", a "1", and a "1" on a Golden Mushroom, a bomb would drop in the player's hands like the bomb capsule.
+Brooks Westfall That would be something to see, though I dunno if our 3 favorite guys could handle that long of a recording. To remain relatively invested and interested in the game for 20 turns is truly very draining, but for 50 turns? That's quite the task to undertake. o.o
5:41 Well considering Tim's choice of words, and how chaotic and luck based Mario Party is, I guess you could say that was Trigger Happy Havoc #BOOBLUST
I love how horrified Jon sounded when Emile told him what the Miracle capsule does. Like after he told him, he learned his house burned down or something wow
It's interesting watching the AI in the last minigame walk under the Jungle-Jim and behind the swing set; it seems like whoever programmed the AI had some fun making them take paths that most players wouldn't take, but still have the path be somewhat efficient
Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiim!!!!!! how did that happen?!? i'm being honest here when he went away from the star, i groaned so much and face palmed while i had pizza in my mouth. tim why?
I played a 50 turn game and I managed to get all three miracle capsules. convienently enough I was in last place by one star we all had about 7-10 stars each. I got all 10 stars from my cousin in first place on the last turn. and I won all 3 bonus stars so total star count was like 20 stars lol xD my cousin was so pisses at me.
After watching all of their Mario Party playthroughs, I'm always rooting for Tim in every new episode, so this one was quite a pain to watch... not because he didn't get the star, but because it was just because of an unfortunate menu fuckup.
i actually had the experience of the miracle capsule in effect back when i was younger my mom actually played with me she always won the button mashing minigames but she wasn't much good at the other games and we were playing on this very board when it happened and it JUST so happened to be that i was in first and she was in last so because of that one in a million chance she won the game and she got the third one in the last five turns too! nevertheless it does not change the fact that i love this game and i quite love the randomness associated with it
Seeing Pushy Penguins gave me such a nostalgia trip. It came on a demo disc with my copy of Mario Kart: Double Dash! and was the very first Mario Party minigame I ever played.
I love how whenever Chugga says "The controls are really sensitive." It's always followed by Jon going "OH MY GOD! You weren't kidding." Or something similar.
what chugga said at the end is why i like some Mario Party games. it doesnt matter how much you practice, in the end, its luck that wins not practice. practicing the minigames gives you a bit more sway on what happens, but shit happens.
I actually don't mind being the 1 player in Beam Team, I just move in zigzag patterns and it usually works for me. Nice save at the last second by Jon.
I feel so bad for Tim because he would have had enough coins for both of the stars if he didn't button mash. I really wanted to see him win this board. #TeamTim
I find a good chunk of mini games in this particular game to be fun and clever. It's just that some of them can be overshadowed by some of the more frustrating games, and I know that there's a lot of them in this game
"It's like the Mechakoopa game from 4." I don't think the big tree robots were Mechakoopas. Pushy Penguins. This minigame was also on the Double-Dash bonus disc, and out of the ones on that disc, this was my favorite. Having to basically shove your way through a flock of penguins was funny to me.
16:08 Um, wow. And there I was, gushing over how unique Woolly World's Frame Chomp mechanic is. But this reminds me of that a _lot_. Might very well be a reference.
Hearing Chugga explain the Miracle Capsule reminded me of a time when I was playing a 50-turn game of MP5 and got 3 Miracle effects in one game and I wish I was recording it because no one's gonna believe me...
Emile loses many a minigame, Tim mashes through an important prompt and Jon gets whisked up and away under Luigi... while the green man himself does wonders under the control of the AI. At least Emile can hope for a miracle... he's been pretty unlucky, though, so maybe not.
I might do some scenes in a lot of the stories I write where there's an evil motorcyclist in my friend Kerry-Anne Brough's bewildering garden and she unleashes more than a dozen thousand orange bats to turn him to fire and then she says; 'This is MY garden! Understand?!?!?!?! I NEVER EVER WANT TO SEE YOU ON MY TURF AGAIN!!!!!!'
Can I just say that is a BRUTAL way to end a minigame. The loser is doomed to be chased by a pack of angry, stampeding thwomps until the eventually trip and then get CRUSHED by each one individually?! What the hell Nintendo that is one metal as fuck image to end on.
You know, accidentally going to the wrong quadrant may actually benefit Tim in the long run. When Jon uses the Chain Chomp, he's probably going to steal the Star Emile just bought. If Tim had gotten it, Jon would just steal it from _him_ instead. Basically, getting that Star at that point was just 20 coins wasted.
I think I've played this game before, I vaguely remember a lot of these mini-games. At the same time I'm quite certain I've only played Mario Party games on the N64.
How fitting. Daisy running from UFOs
ufos
Super Mario Land?
+Logan exactly
Nice reference
+DaysCGS Very fitting
"I'm a terrorist." - Chuggaaconroy 2016
5:36 First time I've ever heard NCS freak out like that.
+SchAlternate To be fair though, it is more than justified... >__
+Tinyrocket Eh, at least it paid off for him in the end...
+SchAlternate lol watch his DK 64 lp when he reaches the obligattory arcade games to see more legit anger XD
SchAlternate I thought that was so funny!
+SchAlternate Ikr. He would've had the star, too.
😂Tim’s reaction to 5:37- “No no no no I didn’t mean to do that!”
Yeah if I accidentally pressed A blindly on a Yes or No question like that I’d freak out too!
Meanwhile on Rainbow Dream, the CPU is determined to crush everyone's happiness.
Right now he is winning lol maybe the CPU will have. A perfect round this MP O_O
I think Mario Party 5 has some of the best minigames in the series. It just has too many button-mashing games and luck games.
+The Mexitroll I agree, it's like it's a combination of the best and the worst.
+The Mexitroll It got some really good minigames with the unfortunate mixing with bad ones. They kinda cancel each other out. : /
I like how NCS went with the 9/11 reference but Chugga and Jon tried to switch it to 911
And i noticed that tim said after luigi got his 2nd star "The massacre continues"
SomeWAAAAAAA over the WAAAAAAAnbow
A Yoshi
Eating all the fruit on his lap
SO HAPPY!
SomeWAAAAAAA over the WAAAAAAAnbow
Two birds fly
Daisy and Luigi sit in the clouds
Waluigi always wins WAA WA!
+Alejandro Cardenas You gotta turn it to Wumbo!
+Magnus von Crumple xD Nice one(I mean that in a good way!). C;
Yoshis just so WAAAAppy!
WAA HAA HAA
Wah is bigger superstar than Luigi! Always!
(I love how that's an actual plotpoint in *Mario & Sonic at the Summer 2012 London Olymic games 3DS*~)
(Yeah, the Wario bros. were simply after some money and finding some people who "were in dept to them". It was spectacular~)
FINALLY! Pushy Penguins! One of the best minigames in Mario Party History. I was waiting for this.
Mario Party 5 is one of my favorites in the series because it may have some cheap AI moments but some of the mini games are really fun.
Rudrake Plays The problem though is that about 70% of the mini games are button mashing or luck based
If only we could create our own minigame list like in MP4.
@@a1gamer561 Meh, it’s Mario Party. You just kinda have to take it on the chin that at heart it’s a game about luck and chance.
If only they had thought of the better capsule system before Mario Party 6
Hey guys. Just a friendly RUclips commenter letting you know that you should probably turn down your headphone volume at 3:17.
Thanks for the warning
I swear that’s as loud as an Xbox 360’s loud buzzing noise it makes if you attempt to keep playing on it after it displays the Red Ring Of Death. Do this and its fans just scream!
Classic Runaway Guys moment:
Jon: WHAT!?
*Chugga and Tim giggle intensely*
+Brady Seigfried Yup. xD
11:08 well Luigi got that wish bone transplant,
at a lightspeed pace too.
10:30 There are two types of people, those who see 9-1-1 and those who see 9/11.
Now I know which one Tim is.
+Lonelynightm
Wait, what does "911" mean? and what is so special about the 9th of November?
Some countries have the 3 numbers together for efficiency.

yeah
+JJ48Se7en 9/11 literally changed the mindset of America. Yes, it happened 15 years ago, but we still feels it's effects today. Increased airport security? 9/11. Increased paranoia? 9/11. Lots of screams of pain in this episode and I love it.
The penguins mini game looks like fun.
5:38
That actually scared me. The volume was on high and hearing Tim freak out freaked me out.
I love how Luigi tried to fit the chainchomp through the swings durring Chomp Romp xD
Tim doesn't have bad luck; he just has no urgency to win
THE NEW MARIO PARTY 4 LOTTERY!! Introducing the new Miracle Capsule. Don't worry, we're not going to tell you what it does because chances are that you will never get 3 of 'em. Anyways I did a tag team on this map and Waluigi got 17 stars for me. Ironic.
4?
No one wins the lottery in Mario Party 4. The miracle capsule in MP5 is pretty much just that.
+Fusion Luigi first time playing I won the best prize three times in a row. Also Yoshi got the 5 turns lottery6 star too. and then so far the best prize was one twice.
+Fusion Luigi I've won the 100 coins on the lottery on two seperate occaisons.
Fusion Luigi and you had 17 likes on this comment before I came along!
I've never even seen a Miracle capsule, and I've played this game so much!
+Slurred Lines
I never saw it being used at all man. You need THREE of it to work!
+lvl5Vaporeon Neither have me or my dad, and we always go for 50 turns. Seeing the Miracle capsules used is a Miracle in its self. I guess that's why it is called that.
Wait, does that mean Luigi is behind 9/11?
+Krulla Chief No one ever suspects Luigi, but I doubt Luigi is a Muslim. Maybe Mr. L is Luigi in his terrorist garb!
"Luigi Instigates a War on Terror by Doing Absolutely Nothing"
+ET Emperor The turban costed too much, so he settled down for a bandanna and black clothing instead
+Krulla Chief It was the worlds unluckiest double misfire.
edfreak9001 AP what? Green flames can't melt steel beams?
Nintendo should have made it so if you roll a "9", a "1", and a "1" on a Golden Mushroom, a bomb would drop in the player's hands like the bomb capsule.
10:33 9/11 was-a 'n inside spaghetti. never-a forgetti
Can we please get a 50 turn game when you guys get through every Mario Party?
+Brooks Westfall Maybe a 55 turn game for Mario Party 3 as well?
+Crazy Luigi And then Tim gets all of the Lucky Timers and makes it go from 54 to Last 5.
+Rexaura888 Whacky Watch.
+FluffyButt Sheep *Wacky, but yes. That's the name.
+Brooks Westfall That would be something to see, though I dunno if our 3 favorite guys could handle that long of a recording. To remain relatively invested and interested in the game for 20 turns is truly very draining, but for 50 turns? That's quite the task to undertake. o.o
*Checking sub box*
Nothing, nothing, nothing...
*Refreshes*
Hey! New video!
man i have not heard a "what!?" from jon that good/voice cracky since pokeys.
Someone didn't watch New Super Luigi U then.
6:36 The part where A.I. cheats by tampering with your controls
5:41 Well considering Tim's choice of words, and how chaotic and luck based Mario Party is, I guess you could say that was Trigger Happy Havoc #BOOBLUST
Reference to Danganronpa huh
I love how horrified Jon sounded when Emile told him what the Miracle capsule does.
Like after he told him, he learned his house burned down or something wow
You know we're going to see a Miracle Capsule by the end of this now that you've said it never happens.
It's interesting watching the AI in the last minigame walk under the Jungle-Jim and behind the swing set; it seems like whoever programmed the AI had some fun making them take paths that most players wouldn't take, but still have the path be somewhat efficient
Jon has the most satisfying "GOT YOU" I've heard in years.
>says he can't say d*** in part 2
>says f*** in part 3
*facepalms*
*slow clapping*
I can think of one word that describes this video
GAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMEEEEE
Tiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiim!!!!!! how did that happen?!? i'm being honest here when he went away from the star, i groaned so much and face palmed while i had pizza in my mouth. tim why?
+Tyler Rizzo _BUTTON HAPPY_... it happens XD
Fun fact: the turbine Jon ran on in the beginning of the video has the same design as the one in Shock, Drop, & Roll from Mario Party 2

Loving this series, keep it up guys!
12:19
AN HERE COMES THE PICKY PENGUINS COMING TO TAKE OVER XD
Don't worry Jon, when this game kicks you when your down and punches you afterward, just remember:
Mario Party 4...that is all
+Jacob Spagnotti And Mario Party 2
+kagemaru397 That too.
(pun entirely intended)
i actually had the experience of the miracle capsule in effect
back when i was younger my mom actually played with me
she always won the button mashing minigames but she wasn't much good at the other games
and we were playing on this very board when it happened and it JUST so happened to be that i was in first and she was in last so because of that one in a million chance she won the game
and she got the third one in the last five turns too!
nevertheless it does not change the fact that i love this game
and i quite love the randomness associated with it
The first Mario Party game had the RNG seeded as soon as the game started, with the AI's only difference being how far ahead it could see.
YES!!! Keep the videos coming!! MP5 for the win!!!
Seeing Pushy Penguins gave me such a nostalgia trip. It came on a demo disc with my copy of Mario Kart: Double Dash! and was the very first Mario Party minigame I ever played.
ProtonJon: Doctor, can you help me? My luck is low!
5:34 - you dun goofed, tim
I love how whenever Chugga says "The controls are really sensitive." It's always followed by Jon going "OH MY GOD! You weren't kidding." Or something similar.
Imagine if the *AI* had a clean sweep of boards.
5:37 It was at this moment that Tim knew, he fucked up
what chugga said at the end is why i like some Mario Party games. it doesnt matter how much you practice, in the end, its luck that wins not practice. practicing the minigames gives you a bit more sway on what happens, but shit happens.
I have been playing Mario Party 5 for years and i have NEVER seen a miracle capsule before.
I actually don't mind being the 1 player in Beam Team, I just move in zigzag patterns and it usually works for me. Nice save at the last second by Jon.
it broke my heart when tim misinputted
I feel so bad for Tim because he would have had enough coins for both of the stars if he didn't button mash. I really wanted to see him win this board. #TeamTim
Oh man, talking about dokapon kingdom makes me hope we see the continuation of the game soon. Who knows,we might see Jon get the darkling for a change.
Mario Party 5 is the TRG equivalent of the Terminator. Skynet is rising... DUNDUN DUN DUNDUN
11:23 In Superstars, the AI actually does cheat. On Master they will Custom Dice onto _hidden blocks_ that only they know about.
Who here thinks chuggaconroy is going to get the other two miracle capsules and steal the win. Great episode. GOD BLESS
I'd love to see the triple miracle capsule thing happen.
darn 2 hours ago was too busy rewatching older stuff by these guys lol
Mario Party is everyone's favorite content on you guys' channel. Admit it.
In the immortal words of pokecapn, "N-no no no penguins no penguins NO PENGUINS *NOOOOOOO*!"
7:16
Jon: Maybe I just have bad luck.
Me: Oh poor, sweet, not innocent Jon. You have no idea.
Hey, just so you know...
_...we're having a sale._
Leaves. "hey don't forget: WE'RE HAVING A SALE!"
I'm gonna feel so bad for Tim if he ends up losing just because of that one mistake.
1:47 You thought it was Jon, but it was I! HANS THE ARMS DEALER! We're havin a saaaale!
This and 6 are my favorites!
"I've never seen it happen."
Emile, you've sealed your fate. Someone will get it, and it will most likely benefit the AI.
"The people you have with will dictate whether you love or hate the serie- REALLY!?!?"
-ProtonJon 2015
Chain Chomp=Boo Bell, Jon. You got lucky with that happening space!
4:59 and from that moment on, it was only a matter of time before the AI got three Miracle Capsules, sending all Jon's stars to Chuggaa...
I like Jon and I root for him, but Jon rage is so hilarious.
most people are happy breaking their funny bones but luigi insists on breaking his lucky bone XD
12:29 Of course Jon likes the Pushy Penguins minigame;
It's practically the only minigame from a
*Top Down Perspective*
11:06, Daisy with her buck teeth.
That wishbone transplant joke was way too good!!
6:34 the Mario Party equivalent to "I HIT BUBBLE!"
2:54 -2:55 I liked how Emile became Dr.Zoidberg from futurama and made his noises!
Can I just say that is a BRUTAL way to end a minigame. The loser is doomed to be chased by a pack of angry, stampeding thwomps until the eventually trip and then get CRUSHED by each one individually?! What the hell Nintendo that is one metal as fuck image to end on.
5:37 I KNEW that someone would make that mistake eventually XD
Also, could this board be the first time Luigi's actually won something? :O
"This seems a lot smaller than I remember this map bein -- WHAT?! I DIDN'T PRESS UP!"
Alwin, my family's kitten has calmed down now. She's laying on her cat bed watching Supermarket Sweep right now.
my soul hurt once tim pressed yes, man that sucked
You know, accidentally going to the wrong quadrant may actually benefit Tim in the long run. When Jon uses the Chain Chomp, he's probably going to steal the Star Emile just bought. If Tim had gotten it, Jon would just steal it from _him_ instead. Basically, getting that Star at that point was just 20 coins wasted.
The great penguin army has turned on Waluigi it seems...
I think I've played this game before, I vaguely remember a lot of these mini-games. At the same time I'm quite certain I've only played Mario Party games on the N64.
Pushy Penguins, also a game that was shown in the Mario Kart DD Bonus Disc. I actually liked this one.
Man I love this game.
My prediction for the board. Either AI wins, or Emile gets 3 miracle capsules right at the end resulting in Tim stealing the AIs stars.
Watch Chugga get 3 miracle capsules
WATCH IT HAPPEN
