There's no existing rail right of way to woodlane. Building a new right of way for northstar would be too expensive and people would probably throw a tantrum. The people probably wouldn't be happy with light rail either. So this isn't too bad of a choice, but they could upgrade later. Also Northstar needs to focus heavily on frequency before they expand, because its *baaaad*
There’s a LOT more that goes into a project then what you see, and every decision is made for a reason. The met council does a great job and the best they can to provide a great service.
