This was a great interview!! I just watched the movie Flamin' Hot, an inspiring story about Richard Montañez, the Creator of the Flamin' Hot Cheetos. 🔥 Steve's courage and resilience reminds me of Mr. Montañez 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
You have no idea how valuable this was to watch. Glad Steven got the chance to sit there as the guest and expound upon his thoughts. There's always so much depth to people that naturally facilitate others but we often don't get to see as much as we'd want so this was great
This was absolutely one of the best interviews I've watched! Will be watching it multiple to extract every jewel that was dropped. Thank you Erika and Steve!
I have no idea who this guy is but his thoughts...it's brilliant! Very wise, very deep! Erika, thank you again for bringing such great people into your podcast!
I’ve watched/listened to his podcast many times. I found after watching this interview, I enjoy him more when he’s doing his own show- interviewing OTHER people! Some of his guests have been so so good!
Absolutely fantastic interview! Love your calm, centered, open, well-prepared style. You always make it about your guests and give them room to expand on a topic without interrupting or pulling focus. That is a testament to your core principles of wanting to provide helpful information to your audience. That is an art in itself.
There are so many good pointers, motivators, and truth in this podcast. Thid has to be one of the top podcasts I've listened to! Incredible questions Erika and what an amazing guest you have!
indeed, most people downplay the roles of financial planners while trying to be profitable, until burnt by there mistakes. Productivity is optimized and keeping up to date strategies and analysis makes it more lucrative. I've been able to navigate the volatilities and scaled up 880k from 220k with professional guidance.
No doubt being financially free and not having to worry much about health care and other expenses cannot be overemphasized, making smart plans and setting up diversified investment portfolios is quite essential.
I am a subscriber of Steven's podcast and have recently been watching more of yours Erika. This was a great combo. Appreciate what you both bring to the table 😊
Very deep conversation, this person not only has achieved a lot but also has worked alot on their on being. His evolution is amazing from listening their first podcast episodes and who has seen his previous program. Congrats 🎉
The analogy using the ants in a circle to describe limiting beliefs along with the quote 'whether you think you can or you can't you are right' were such significant reminders for me. There were several other wonderful gems here. Thank you for this insightful interview with Steven.👏🏼
I live by that Henry Ford quote, remind myself of it every time I think I can't do something, it moves me past blockers every time. Like you, I loved the ant & spider experiment as an analogy for limiting beliefs. Am totally surprised a biro line would stop them, but I guess we humans sometimes let things we can't even see stop us.
Brilliant interview, Erika! I love Steven Bartlett and I think you got him to speak about things I haven’t heard him say before. You could tell he was ready to open up more to you because he very quickly blazed through his backstory in order to isolate individual episodes in his past. I was happy for this as I have heard the backstory on many occasions, haha, and was eager to hear the insights and pivots he got from individual episodes in his life. I did not get the “Four Pillars,” in your title, however. I got “Five Buckets.” They are 1) Knowledge, 2) Skills, 3) Network, 4) Resources, and 5) Reputation. This comes up near the end of the interview, around 1:10. Takeaways to make millions: Lean into the areas where there’s a wave coming (AI, Blockchain, etc). Fail in a start-up. Also, calculate your net worth by including your initial failure years into it: you didn’t make 5 million in one year if you failed trying four years ahead of that. Instead, you made 1 Mill/year over five years. Thank you again for another great video, Erika! ❤ P.S.: I listened to the podcast on the commute, then at the charger while charging my car, and finally switched to RUclips to finish up when I got home. Your audio equipment/mixing is superior to Steven’s in that I cannot listen to his podcasts because the mics are so different between his and his guests’. I am constantly having to increase my volume when he speaks and decrease when the guest speaks. Aargh. I can only watch him on RUclips as the mic thing is not so apparent. So Steven if you read this 😂🤣…please check your audio equipment or speak to your buddy Elon (the next time you’re jogging in San Francisco) to fix my car speakers!
He talked about the five pillars to find work you are passionate about. They are: 1- forward progress 2- challenge 3-Meaningful goal 4-Control in your work 5- supportive community
Wow what an episode full of wisdom! I especially liked the point about communication and being able not to “disagree”, which shuts your opponent’s brain. Me and you agains the problem, and not me against you, that’s the only way to make progress - I thought that was very insightful and could be applied in so many situations in life. Another nugget of wisdom was about failing gracefully, and not letting your failures define you. Thanks so much, off to get the book now! 🌸
Great conversation! When we achieve certain goals, right away we should start thinking how to get 10X from here. If you continue to compound this principle in every important aspects of your life like health, family & friends, wealth, peace, happiness, helping others etc. then sky is the limit!!! Thank you Erika!
I came across your podcast, searching for someone new to listen to. So happy I did! I clicked like and subscribed. Great gems and knowledge from Mr.Bartlett as well as yourself. Thank you for what you do! 😊👏🏾🙌🏾💚
Wow! 🎉 This interview is full of powerful life lessons. What is our purpose? Are we improving and learning new information that will serve others every day?
Thank you so much for this I love to do many things yet I have heard that we should choose only one thing. I’m a creative entrepreneur and am on the road at 53 ❤
Whoops that was a mouthful 😅, I have to watch this interview again. I had a lot of instances that I could relate to and a lot to learn from. Thanks for a great insight❤
You have a remarkable journey, Steven, and your insights are truly enlightening. When reflecting on your career, what would you say has been the most valuable lesson you've learned along the way?
❤❤❤ love this. Love Steven. I am so glad he talked about shame. Growing as a Jehovah's Witness I shared the same feelings he did but in a different way.
Need your advice. My daughter planned a trip to Vegas months ago and at the MGM where they’re having a cyber attack. Certainly she can get free rooms or $$ or something???
Cuz you don’t realize it until you finally get it. Youll understand if/when you get it and become disillusioned that it did not deliver on the promises and/or perceptions that you projected onto how you’d feel when it happens
I would disagree with the argument / phrase, 'if you believe you can or you believe you cannot, either way you are right'. I have tested this in my own life & found this parable does not hold up. The two things that did make something happen, belief or not, was gaining knowledge & practice. There were many times when I did not believe I could achieve something & I did. And there were times I did believe & still achieved. The belief did not matter, only the knowledge & practice DID matter.
What is your own idea and understanding of belief?. And note,no matter how knowledgeable you are,you can not be able to practice it or practicalize the knowledge,if you do not belief it.
He talks a lot lol to say everything he wants - I like it 👍life comes full circle and we learn by listening and making mistakes- I’m learning a lot by listening to podcasts and it explains a lot too about my own life 🌸he’s smart as he explores everyone’s life and takes it all in like a sponge , hope you find that one thing that’s missing ❤️
Hey I like you my dude but yes you can choose a belief , that’s why it’s called belief . In your example you force her to believe which is no more a choice .
Mid vid advertisement is a no go sorry. Part of premium payment is so that half way through an episode, viewers arent bombed with bullshniz. Great guests, great interview, but its a non subscription for the reason noted. Put all your hard sale at the very beginning or end if its necessary.
Eh...it strikes a nerve when other African people's consider themselves black. I still think that's an ethnic cultural term, not racial. Small potatoes, but eh potatoes it is. I guess in Britain where everybody calls you black, the actual meaning of it is not held by the ethnicity itself...but his honesty always makes me balk and laugh at the same time. He is so personnable.
Thank you so much for having me on Erika! You’re a blessing ❤
How is Steven today ?
Inspiring amazing interview, both of you, thank you!
🔥🔥🔥
Great conversation. This was a very informative and encouraging interview. Thanks to both of you! 😊
So impressed with this guy. I am 53 and its taken me a lifetime to internalize the lessons this young man has already learned. Great interview!
Steven is such a key contemporary person, congrats for having him as a guest🎉
"The most precious thing in the world is your attention." Not your time. Attention. That's deep.
You have no idea how valuable this was to watch. Glad Steven got the chance to sit there as the guest and expound upon his thoughts. There's always so much depth to people that naturally facilitate others but we often don't get to see as much as we'd want so this was great

Thank you Erika and Steve!
If you haven’t listened to this man or read his books, you are missing out!
So many gems!
55:11 He used my quote!!! 🎉
"It's not your fault, but it is your responsibility."
That is a fantastic quote. Don´t be surprised if I use that one.
I have no idea who this guy is but his thoughts...it's brilliant! Very wise, very deep! Erika, thank you again for bringing such great people into your podcast!
He has the best podcast/ RUclips channel. Big fan

Pretty solid advice Steve

Omg I love this guy’s perspectives, Malaysians definitely can learn a lot from this mind frame.
Greatly enjoyed Steven Bartlett's fluent storytelling. 🎉
Already watched this interview 3 times. Shared & saved to watch again. Very enjoyable. Thank you, Erika & Steven
Very deep conversation, this person not only has achieved a lot but also has worked alot on their on being. His evolution is amazing from listening their first podcast episodes and who has seen his previous program. Congrats 🎉
You can change your mind but you can never change what's inside your heart
The one who made the heart is the one that can change it - think on that!

Absolutely love his mind. Awesome guy and so inspiring Thank you for this interview ❤😊
"They are within their right to say no, it's within my right to ask the question." That is a brilliant way to look at it.
One of my favorite episodes to date!
Incredible! I'm sure I will listen to this podcast a couple more times to make sure I get every pearl! Thank you!
Imma gonna watch this too 😊, as well as DOAC. Steven’s everywhere recently, on various channels. Well done him! The modern man of many moments.
That was so so good. Steven you have a brilliant mind. One of the best podcasts I have ever listen to.

“…fixing the paraglider as we fall.” What an excellent visual. Scary.
What a trip I literally was like these two together and here It is ! xx
Thank you so much for this amazing conversation, you're both brilliant!
Intrinsic motivation and his comments about reward is right on point
Wonderful podcast! I have gleaned a lot of great information out of this podcast. Now to check out his book.
Thank you so much for this I love to do many things yet I have heard that we should choose only one thing. I’m a creative entrepreneur and am on the road at 53 ❤

WOW BRILLIANT ONE.THANK YOU
Thankyou! Loved this conversation ❤😊
First. Love your videos
You have a remarkable journey, Steven, and your insights are truly enlightening. When reflecting on your career, what would you say has been the most valuable lesson you've learned along the way?
I have to admit, this kind of content is what I enjoy nowadays.
His insights on intrinsic motivation and comments regarding rewards are spot-on.
Great interview and a big fan of Stephen.
However, as an Aussie, I’m disappointed in his lack of appreciation for a shower beer!
The old saying about 'knowing the cost of everything but the value of nothing'
Very good interview!
That was a great interview.
You heard of the late Aussie Peter Allen , Steven -- talented interesting guy
❤❤❤ love this. Love Steven. I am so glad he talked about shame. Growing as a Jehovah's Witness I shared the same feelings he did but in a different way.
I can not believe what he said , he is younger , look like I hear somebody leave in 1970 ,
Absolutely outstanding ✨❤
17:10 - we are multi faceted

Amazing!
Amazing

Why is it always that people who have finally made it in life and have $$$$$$$ always say $$$$$$$$ is not important. IRONIC.
