@2gtrmike I never said that the song was written by Mason. It's co-written by Ruffner, Greene & Mark Avsec. I called it 'Mason Ruffner's' simply because Santana covered it based solely on Ruffner's version.
I like the recorded version on the Supernatural reissue, but I think this far outrocks it. With all due respect to Tony Lindsay-- who sings his ass off-- Alex absolutely owns the song in this performance. Jorge sounds great, too. Beautiful dual leads!
This is not Mason playing. It's Carlos and ? Mason Ruffner wrote the song, not Carlos but it fits Carlos so well. I would have put a cool bridge with it...
