- We left Erie and crossed the Rocky Mountain Continental Divide on our way to Moab. After a quick fuel stop for the plane and battery change for the cameras we took off and gained altitude for sight seeing in Arches and Canyonlands National Parks.
I've done the White Rim on dirt bike; next trip will be in my RV9. Thanks for the sneak peak.
You won’t be disappointed, and doing it by ground and air offers a cool perspective. Enjoy!
Agree! We're hoping to take some longer XC's in the future (when I have my own plane). Thanks for sharing these.
Thanks for flying along and enjoy your flying!
White Rim Trail is the best single day motorcycle ride I've ever been on, and flying over it is pretty awesome as well!! Great video, I'm out of UT9, hit me up if you ever need an overnight hangar spot for Utah shenanigans!
Thank you I appreciate that and would love to take you up on that! We have more trips planned to your incredible state.
Nice video. My son and I are based out of KBJC. We own and fly a 77 Grumman Tiger AA-5B. He's an FO for SkyWest and I'm just a former Navy guy who flies for fun. This is definitely on our bucket list! See you around some time!
Fly safe and fly often!
You'll have to do it, it's so much fun! We have an air rally in September that's posted on the MohlenAIR website. Would love to have you guys join!
Nice video, I'll be moving to Erie area later this year, know of any hangars that can fit a Bonanza? Always good to know more GA friends too!
Thank you! There are a couple of offerings for hangars on the field. I'd recommend getting on the wait list now.
Great video! Such a scenic part of the US. Was expecting some stunt flying through some of the arches though 🙂
It was beautiful! Yeah No aerobatics or illegal flying under arches for us… 😁
Ironic if it is the same aircraft that you mentioned, but FBO manager at KTDW has a Bonnaza with tail number N11CE
I don’t know if he or previous owner did that on purpose
Awesome vid buddy.
Thank you Sir!
A flight I want to do in my Arrow. I would love to do Moab with my Jeep, except it always goes to Silverton, KTEX airport is as far west as it will go. The airline for whom I work spends metric shit tons of cash there. This dude in dirty jeans and smells like work is being given the grand tour as people get out of G’s. I can’t wait to take my 50 year old Arrow there and be parked in front.
I need to go to Alamosa, I am coming from Ohio, what route would you use to get into the valley?
Your flight looked so fun.
It’s a beautiful area in the southwest corner of Colorado. We flew KEIK over Rawlins Pass. If you’re coming from Alamosa there’s probably a southern route that might be better. Enjoy the flight!

I was thinking of approaching from New Mexico. I want to land at KASE and KTEX, both like us. The FBO says our crew food is better than pax food on other fractionals. I want to land and see the faces of people when the red carpet is rolled out to a 50 year old Arrow.
Take pictures! 😂
Hell yeah Dirty Diana!
Have to love inflight entertainment!
Super cool! Can’t wait to make that trip. Looks like you used Rollins Pass? What was going on with your ADSB??? Seems like it was intermittent…
Yes we snuck over Rawlins. Not sure what was up with the ADSB as the GDL seemed to be functioning, but we couldn’t solidly rely on it. My buddies Sentry seemed to be working well though. Enjoy it when you fly it!
Formation flight next time?
Yes Sir I would love to do that!
Did you fly out of SLC?
