I just went to MEPS about a month ago for the USAF, but I’m just curious. I saw a group of girls recording TikTok dances while we waited outside the MEPS building. I didn’t think we’d be standing at attention or parade rest, but I was surprised that they were being so unprofessional. Also, this might be due to the number of staff, less recruits, changes in regulation, or just building arrangements, but the physical inspections were done one by one in a separate room. I can’t complain, but I was fully prepared to strip down in a room full of other people😂

I am an immigrant with a green card and had LASIK surgery almost 12 years ago outside the United States, and unable to obtain the previous medical records as the hospital no longer exists. In this case, Can I simply tick no on eye surgery question?. or what should I do? any tip or recommendation in my case?. looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hi there, until you sign a contract you are not locked into that service. You may also elect to postpone your MEPS date if you wish to switch branches. If you’re interested in active duty Air Force, please go to airforce.com and search for a recruiter in your local area. Good luck!

If I went to MEPS back in February of 2021 and passed everything at MEPS (except getting sent home to get a skin issue resolved) but occasionally wear hearing aids but passed the hearing test without them on, will they find that on MHS Genesis and will I get DQ if I already passed the hearing test?
Hello! . I have a question question. In July of 2020 I had a surgery for my scoliosis because it caused me back pains. I’m at fully healed now and my doctor gave me the clear to do anything with no limitations after I was 6 months post opp. Is it possible I can still get intro the Air Force or try to at least get a waiver?
It depends on the surgery. The only way to find out is to apply and have all the relevant medical and surgical records sent to MEPS for review. It is not an automatic disqualification but if you are disqualified you can petition for a waiver.

No you will not be able to join any service with a pass back surgery. Unfortunately you will be permanent disqualified.
