Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna of Russia or Olga Romanova-Kulikovskaya is one of the few in the House of Romanov that survived the revolution. A younger sister of Emperor Nicholas II was born in the palace by the sea but later married a commoner and resigned her royal status. After the October revolution, she became an immigrant, and this is where the story began.

Olga's story in fact is very well known in Canada. I remembered when we studied her in school.

I adore the tale told. One can only guess why it hasn't been turned into a motion picture, having all the elements of grand saga. Thank you my friend for sharing. Loved the Cosplay Dance.

Olga’s mother Maria did not die in 1828. She passed away in 1928. Great video! I love that she was down to earth and had a loving soul.
You are so precious! I love when you yelled at the car to stop beeping 🤣Your adorable! Best wishes

An interesting and well researched video Katia! You put a lot of work into this and it shows, well done! Pity you couldn't film at the actual cemetery (which I totally understand) but I am glad you got to visit.

A captivating and encompassing portrayal of this story, and its subject. Good people aren't immune from trying times.
Also, they needed to be cursed in Russian to really conclude the video :P
