Aesthetics aside (and it truly is a work of art) I actually prefer this flugel sound to any other I've listened to. Granted I'm not a flugel guy, but I really like this... It feels smooth, but has projection.
I'm always amazed by the rigidness of the instrument makers of classical intruments. Yes, history has proven lots of go to knowledge, but even innovative brands use their tech for optimizing proven designs (Yamaha). New designs in shape, form and function could attract new players and audiences. I quit playing trumpet/Flugelhorn due to strain on the shoulders tendons. With the french horn I have no physical strains. The advancements in the field of modern instruments is unparalleled. Especially guitars and drums if we're not counting the electronic achievements of the keyboards. Adams are proficient music instrument makers. Not always do they have a winner on their hands, but I applaude for them trying to be innovative.
Geeez it’s beautiful, and the sound is to die for. Ok that’s much due to your playing. I’m a saxophone player - wish your guy could do for the saxophone what he did for the flugelhorn 🖖🏽
Wait you're supposed to read music? I knew I've been doing something wrong all these years. It's fine to see btw the sight lines are not affected by the instrument.
This is a beutiful looking and sounding horn. If Adjuah's mouthpiece is bent to make it "easier" to play and hold, couldn't the lead pipe be attached to the valve block at a slightly different angle? To me, the horn looks incredibly bulky to hold, more so than a normal flugelhorn. I was hoping that there would be a comment made about the ergonomics of this horn. It does have a great sound and is a beautiful looking horn. Is this available with four valves? There is a sound quality that fluegels with four valves have that I love. Great horn.
sounds a lot more like a trumpet than a flugelnorn. I think all the bracing damps some of the traditional warmer resonances and overtones. I agree, cute toy, but I'll stick to my Bach or other flugelhorns that sound like a flugelhorn. Not worth the price no matter what that is. Most of the guys who "like the sound" have no idea what a true flugelhorn should sound like. But get some real, experienced, high brass players who have an ear for a good flugelhorn, and this will remain a piece of art as opposed to a horn one would like to play. Why have and play a flugelhorn that sounds like a little bit darker trumpet? A waste of time and money. Yup, an art museum show piece, not a practical, playable horn.
I like the sound... and I play/record a lot of flugelhorn. My concept of flugel isn't trombone though. I like a lighter and more compact flugel sound like my hero CT (especially on his Selmer). That's the joy of making music. Make it the way you want to sound. One person's dream sound will probably be someone's else's least favorite. Keep on keepin on and have fun. This horn is by far the easiest playing flugelhorn I have tried. I prefer my Adams f3 but still this instrument is great! Take care, T

Thank you very much!
Yeah a copper horn!🔥🔥🔥 copper is used in all of our electronic devices! I know exactly how deep Christian atunde is 💯

Love the sound. I'd have to overlook the design.

This is a beautiful instrument but how can you play it while being able to see sheet music, conductor, or other musicians?

Очень мягкий звук. Труба сделана посредством технологий осаждения молекул металла на болванке, то есть безшовной?:))
It’s a no from me Dogg
