No......... I love this S type, this is what it should be, “fun” not perfect but used for what it is intended, looks so cool. Agreed not one for the purest but you gotta love it’s rough around the edges “edge”
My sixteen year-old self would have loved this! It's not so much my taste these days, but I appreciate the technical achievement and, well, it's not my car, so as long as the owner gets a kick out of it, then it's a cool thing!
The owner doesn’t appear in the video, so how do you know he’s a homosexual? Also what would be the problem if I (his brother who appears in the video) were to be a homosexual? It wouldn’t bother me, why would it bother you?
That being said, I LOVE this Jag, an love the flares, though sculpted would have my vote. I dunno, I'm not a fan of "bold-on" flares in any application.
This looks INCREDIBLE! I LOVE it so much, my ideal choice of classic car. Its a car that looks like a classic but that has modern performance, handling, braking, interior etc. Perfect!
Wow me too I thought it was just me always thinking about that leather smell, and the push button start.. My family had 2 MK2's in the 70's, 1 of them we used to bring to Jaguar shows and win awards.
Hi Pete, I can understand the appeal he saw in that particular mk2 Jaguar but it really isn’t my cup of tea. To see a fully restored Jaguar mk2 to its original condition is a pure joy.
After my first comment on your channel (in the Fiabusa video) this one actually became the second video I watched. Absolutely stunning, this jag. A real beast. I like that it will not be made 'perfect', the way it is suits it so well, and it's a credit to those who have worked on it. Very nicely done. As per the first video I watched, this is made and edited to a lovely high standard. A credit to you PP 👌
In my opinion, the MK II was Jaguar's most charachteristic saloon style. When I first noticed that it was a MK II, the only reason as to why I've clicked on the video was to expect viewing a MK II with a supercharged contemporary to its age Daimler 2.5 litre V-8. Nevertheless, this one was still an innovative project. That modern dull paint looks surprisingly good on this car. On modern cars, I find this sort of paint scheme to be somewhat Yobbish, though
OMG 😳 i love your country where crazy cars like this one can exit...thanks for this great moment of « petrol fun » and what an amazing noise...i can’t imagine what it sounds like for real. 😂👍
Nice car with a nice sound. In Aus we have been putting 350 Chev engines in the series 2 for 30 years or more now the LS 3 chev 6 ltr are a perfect swap with over 600 hp on E95 so we are doing it environmentally responsibly and easy to swap
In some ways, it's a bit of a shame that the interior was changed, as it then would have been even more of a surprise! Cracking car regardless though, and I like that it is still authentically Jaguar. This car is a lesson for all car modifiers I think, in how to do it properly. Thanks for filming this. I'd not heard of you before, and I've subscribed to your channel, as a result of this video, that was shared in a Jaguar club on Facebook. I watched it through my TV & hi-fi, where the sound really came through! 😁

We had an early 1907s XJ with a Chevy V8 and El Torino transmission: best of both worlds. Wish I had the thing now.
"Wot larks!" A proper rat rod, respect!
I just can’t get the image of Withnail and I out of my head lol, brilliant and beautiful car too.
No......... I love this S type, this is what it should be, “fun” not perfect but used for what it is intended, looks so cool. Agreed not one for the purest but you gotta love it’s rough around the edges “edge”
Exactly 👍
MK2 NOT an S-Type - much smaller grille - quad headlights, an arcing mid body line
My sixteen year-old self would have loved this!
It's not so much my taste these days, but I appreciate the technical achievement and, well, it's not my car, so as long as the owner gets a kick out of it, then it's a cool thing!
Indeed 👍
OMG that’s just pure class. What a build 🔥🔥🔥
Wow! Love it. Like an English mad max car. I see so many tuned vag cars and sympathetic resto mods. This is just refreshingly sod it, why not?
Oh my god..that is so sick..love everything,i want one,wow....
More cars like this please....
Awesome.
THAT put a smile on my face on a miserable, cold, misty and crappy morning.... I WANT ONE!!!!
Great to hear 👍
Love it!, you could never get tired of that sound,, would love to see it with the glass blacked out that would be mean looking
Wow
The best car I've seen in a very long time.
Absolute class
Should put RAF roundels on the doors...
Nick Maclachlan yes
Thats what I was thinking as well.
@Nick Maclachlan What the hell has an RAF Roundel got to do with Homosexuals?
The owner doesn’t appear in the video, so how do you know he’s a homosexual? Also what would be the problem if I (his brother who appears in the video) were to be a homosexual? It wouldn’t bother me, why would it bother you?
A spitfire on 4 wheels.
Well it reminds me John Steed's Jaguar XJC V12 5L ,racing green,🤔
Absolutely awesome 😎👍
Smiles per mile! “Very loud bridgework” 🤣
That was the funniest bit! 😂
Great opening sequence. Before I leave planet blue, I want to own a car with this side exit exhaust.
Perfect!
My dad's had 3 of these. Just about remember being in the back of them as a child in the 70's. Smell the leather now 👌
J Boy nothing like that smell !
Memory’s in a sniff lol
Wow me too I thought it was just me always thinking about that leather smell, and the push button start.. My family had 2 MK2's in the 70's, 1 of them we used to bring to Jaguar shows and win awards.
I love it. A RAT JAG. Want to make one.
Yeah my Dad had the V8 Daimler version of the MKII, I was 5 and I still remember it.
First Jag with IRS in the back.Loads of people got car-sick riding in the rear seats!😂
I keep coming back to this. Probably the best Jag on the planet, no messing. Insane and super cool.
👊
Hi Pete, I can understand the appeal he saw in that particular mk2 Jaguar but it really isn’t my cup of tea. To see a fully restored Jaguar mk2 to its original condition is a pure joy.
I agree 👍
Funny I was saying the same thing as your brother when I first saw the car… “ fell in love with it”
Demonic sums this car up nicely 👌. Its nuts, unique and ruddy awesome ❤👍
Yep 👍
I wonder if they have an H pipe in the exhaust, they make a very positive difference in tone and performance on V8s.
It’s no sleeper is it?! In that it’s not exactly subtle! Still sounds fun.
Err nope 😂
After my first comment on your channel (in the Fiabusa video) this one actually became the second video I watched.
Absolutely stunning, this jag. A real beast. I like that it will not be made 'perfect', the way it is suits it so well, and it's a credit to those who have worked on it. Very nicely done.
As per the first video I watched, this is made and edited to a lovely high standard. A credit to you PP 👌
Thanks Damien. Those are two of my best performing videos. Both awesome cars. Plenty more to take a look at 😜👍
OMG I WANT that car!!! Would've liked a really detailed look at the interior!
Sorry. The work needed to get the rear seats is was impressive. Although if you have legs you wouldn’t be able to sit in the back 😂
Park it outside Sad Khans house at 4am and give it a good tune up.
i wish the presenter would dial back the game show host by about 20%
Sounds like he took a line of coke before he made this.
80% he comes across as a right tool.
Bore off Ross.
50% would be better.
And speak like his is not actually talking to his kids
Respect from California. USA
David Tennant should drive this car in Bad Omens.
This is absolutely beautiful nothing compare to a car like this ,of course this is half a million dis car
Mental machine , the wheel arch extensions look utterly horrendous though 😂
Loved this thing--It is the most possible bad assed car ever.
Cheers David 👍
Looks like an S-Type Jag to me, not a mk2. Still bonkers though lol
Defiantly an S; even the bloke who built it said its a Mk2! Completely wrong. Bloody shame, looks awful.
Totally agree not a MK2 but an S-type
Yep. I know that now 😂
He didn’t build it 😜
Of course, it is indeed not a Mk II but a S-type.
Bravo!!!!!! A proper “Outlaw” ride!!! I want one
On modern cars, I find this sort of paint scheme to be somewhat Yobbish, though
gawus noise mean looks well done, world needs cars like this
OMG 😳 i love your country where crazy cars like this one can exit...thanks for this great moment of « petrol fun » and what an amazing noise...i can’t imagine what it sounds like for real. 😂👍
Very loud 😂
Never been a huge Jaguar fan. No disrespect. But this Jag is fantastic!!! Mean
I will flush my phone down the toilet if I hear one more
"Oh! My! Gawd!!"
