My hope is that Levi’s ability to improve so much will inspire swimmers of all levels. When I say 56 is slow, I’m saying that from the context of a top 5 NCAA D1 program.

Cody you should talk about Braden Vines. He’s a senior in high school and I saw him at my regional championship. He’s a helluva breastroker

I could not relate more, yesterday at my meet in finals I went a 2:01.92 in my 200 freestyle being a freshman girl in high school dropping 4 seconds in one day even though I just swam it at a meet two weeks ago, it was like a scene from tv me and my friend hugged over the lane line while she tells me "we did it!" and everyone high fives us on the way out, it is the best feeling in the whole world and that is why I swim

this is what I love about Cody Miller, it's not just all about himself. He see's other people and their talent/potential and that drives him to better which drives them to do better. An amazing role model for the sport, keep up the good work Cody!

I know a guy on my varsity team who last year was a 1:02 is in 100 breast his freshman year. 1 year later he has a low 57 and is still dropping time consistently, and that is because he goes to every practice he has, 8 times a week, no off days or anything. He worked hard and recently got 4th at states as a sophomore. It’s incredible what hard work can accomplish

im an 11 year old swimmer and i have been swimming for the past 8 years. its my passion! i am a breaststroker and had to take off almots 4 seconds to qualify for a competition. on a average i take of 2 or 3 miliseconds. this past weekend i took off not 1 not 2 but 3 SECONDS. i have 2 more meets to take off 0.83 seconds. Cody you are the person who has pushed me to swim my best. Thank you and wish me luck.

I'll tell you this, I was a swimmer in High School. I wasn't the best. Started off with a REALLY slow 2 minutes on a 100 free. After 4 years, I worked and worked ended up with about 1 minute on 100 free and 1 08 on 100 fly. Stopped swimming since, and watching this entire vlog I am getting inspired to work hard and becoming something. Your vlog is pushing me to complete my electrical enginnering degree and get back in to swimming. Cody, thank you sooo much!

My passion for coaching swimming was so so until i heard David Marsh talk about ‘adding value to life’. We have one life to live. Was the high point of our value TV and video games? Or was it accomplishing amazing things? When I grasped this concept, coaching took on a whole new dimension. What you just shared has pumped me up! I train a kid with lots of talent but little effort. We will be watching this together this week. Heck, what you have so eloquently said, I will be plagiarizing every day this week in practice. Thanks!!!

Hi, My name is Anna and I'm a medical student. I wanted to thank you for doing those vlogs, because your enthusiasm and positivity are so contagious, and it helps me get through moments when I don't feel like doing anything. Because of your vlogs I have more energy and I'm more motivated to face difficult subjects. The stories like Levi's show that you can do enything if your persistent and work hard enough, that's something I have to constantly remind myself . So THANK YOU again for what you're doing.

I wanted to tell you I really like your videos!
    And...
That you're an inspiration for me simply because you're a breaststroker...
Why? Because a short time ago, I wanted to be a butterflier, but I wasn't that good, so my coach told me I was going to be breaststroker. I refused and still practice Butterfly, but I started to watch your videos and watch your races, so I accepted being breaststroker... I love it

Meghan Voelker no that's good fair play mate keep up the work I stopped swimming for 2 years came back at 15 and swam my 100m free (in scm) at a 1:16 I know that's really
Bad slower then you now you did it in 1:12 (scm) came back now I am 16 just recently swam 100m in 1:05 so I have dropped a lot of time in a year but still have a long way to go. My 100m free in yards would be like 59 or something like that. Took so much inspiration from this , sorry I wanted to reply to you and comment about the video but I couldn't be bothered separating them haha 😂 because I have training in the morning and am really tired
