I agree, cant go wrong with an ugly stick. Enjoying your videos and trying to recognize all those spots you go around fishing. Ive probaly been to a few of those places myself but has been about 28 years since I left home.
Found yourself a great spot there for sure. Always great to get out and enjoy wetting the line, especially when fishing turns to some nice catching too! Awesome!!
Nice fishing spot, forgot how much darker the waters look amongst the spruce trees in the East, makes some good fishing holes, cool frog sounds and birds, and I see a honeymoon fishing trip getting put in the wedding plans😂👍, shimano or ugly stick, both also good on brands for ocean fishing
Couldn't tell if they were trout or chubb's on the fly rod - but doesn't matter...some times they're hitting flies (and now you've got that covered) and sometimes they're only hitting worms! Every time out fishing is a wonderful experience.
I find it hard to believe you're from newfoundland and asking US for fishing advice😅 but my advice would be to follow the water downstream until you get past all the old dams. You should get into some bigger trout below them as only smaller trout tend to be above the dams. That can always change with a good rain but based on the size of trout you caught I would move down!
Hey new subsciber here. Nice video! I am looking for advice on a camera as well. I use my phone and a go pro. ( HERO10) I was thinking of getting a Canon T7 or a Canon T7i . They say they are a good beginner camera and not to costly.
Buy a 2 piece spincast Fenwick eagle 6'6 from bass pro . You'll won't be disappointed. Fenwick rods have a long, excellent reputation. Look them and up and make your own decisions. And no, I don't have any affiliation with Fenwick.. But they are well worth the price..
