I love the strange juxtaposition of Kyoshei's stocky body and its airy, flowy aurora cloud. I didn't expect that sort of combination to work so well, but the two halves perfectly complement each other. If I had to personally track down whichever of these mons I wanted, Kyoshei would be high on my list.
I think a sun motif could actually have worked well for Amatsu, especially with the name being so similar to Amaterasu. Have the smoke in the colors of a gorgeous sunset, where you've got those oranges and yellows, but also pinks and purples. With the shiny maybe being more inspired by a solar flare. Especially since the very next 'mon was going to be a _Dark_ type...and while I know it's the Evil type in Japanese, visually it still feels weird to have something with a visually dark theme meant to contrast something that...also has a visually dark theme. Moraun seems like it would get called "Moron" a lot by players, rather than them trying to learn the proper pronunciation. As far as abilities go, there's kind of a standard set for the Legendary Beasts. They all get Pressure as a primary ability, and from Gen VII onward, Inner Focus as a hidden ability. Though, since that's boring, we could instead look at Gen V and VI, where they each got a hidden ability that absorbed moves of their respective type, even though they were never obtainable with those abilities. In that case, it might look something like this... *Amatsu:* "Mind Palace" - The Pokémon takes no damage when hit by Psychic-type moves. Instead, its Sp. Attack stat is boosted. *Eberus:* "Curse Eater" - If hit by a Dark-type move, the Pokémon has its HP restored instead of taking damage. *Moraun:* Sap Sipper *Kyoshei:* "Winter Coat" - The Pokémon takes no damage when hit by Ice-type moves. Instead, its Defense stat is boosted. *Omosai:* "Pixel Blur" - The Pokémon takes no damage when hit by Fairy-type moves. Instead, its Speed stat is boosted.
I definitely agree, because Espeon is the literal sunlight pokémon, of which Amatsu is supposed to be based off of?? So why are we giving it such a dark color scheme?? :/

So, the beasts represent the elements of the burning of the tower. The lightning that struck the tower, the fire that consumed it, and the rain that put the fire out. The Umbreon, Espeon, and Sylveon fit that too, the night of the storm, the smoke that alerted Ho-oh to the disaster, and the blessing Ho-oh gave to the pokemon who perrished. The Leafeon and Glaceon ones don't fit as much, but to a degree it could be the Johto region itself that was impacted by the tragedy. The forests around Ekruteak and the frozen peaks of mount Silver. Either way they are all very cool, that was just an interesting thought I had while watching.
Also Teddy! Reminds me of when I was a kid and my friends and I used to draw our own fakemon cards! Teddys got some great designs! Might be a cool series for you to draw user submitted drawings in your/Sugimori style!
I really love these designs, a lot! If you plan to revisit those sometime in the future, I've noticed that most of the manes that you gave your beasts mostly follow Entei's and Suicune's, except for maybe the Espeon one (my personal fav!), which are, like, long flowing clouds that start from the head, follow the spine and turn into their tails. Raikou's mane is very short compared to the other two and has that curious curly shape to it, I think it'd be really fun to experiment with the mane shapes in kinda similar way, make some shorter and some longer, some more curly or maybe even spiky :o I love how you noticed the "masks" motive, I really love the ones you came up with, and another thing all three beasts also have is some extra detail growing from their body, like Entei's "mountains"-like spikes, Raikou's super cool lightning tail, and Suicune has those ribbon-like things that always flow forward, even when it runs. The Sylveon one is fantastic in that sense! The neck and the ribbons is just chef's kiss. These are just some funny suggestions to consider!

People calling them dogs has always been silly as Raikou is a tiger, Entei a lion and Suicune is some kind of weird deer thing (A Kirin i think, citation needed)
It was a dubbing error I think. Because I called them Legendary Dogs for a while too until I realized Pokemon gave them the title of Beasts not dogs. (Suicune is a leopard I think)
I'm probably one of if not the only one that would hug a legendary beast before catching it, and Entei is numero uno in that ballpark, but if there was ever one in this video who rivals that energy, it's Moraun. Hugs for Moraun!!
I'm going for grass type in general, and shiny hunting for the ice type. The fairy type would've won my vote easily if there was just a bit of blue and less yellow, to keep the iconic trans colours even if adjusted

I love Omosai's design. The ribbons of Sylveon made symmetric just speaks to me. The colouring choices don't grab me nearly as much, but that may just be a difference in taste of hue
A Fantastic Idea making Mythical Beasts off of the Eeveelutions! It makes sense! XD I have to say my favorites are Moraun and Kyoshei! Moraun looks so Powerful and Tough, a True Forest Guardian! And I Love Kyoshei, very Deadly-looking and Badass! Amatsu looks Magnificent and Spectacular. Also, Amatsu is also the name of an Elder Dragon from the Monster Hunter Franchise! Eberus looks Mysterious yet Epic, a Perfect Opposite for Amatsu! And Omosai looks Interesting. Out of this Batch, I would definitely pick Kyoshei! Ngl, now I want to see what these Beasts would look like as Past Paradox's! XD

Hi again, today I’ve designed a future paradox version of fuecoco called iron toy, since it’s based on a windup tin robot toy and It’s a fire/steel type. Every time i make an episode to the jigitaro region, i will add an analysis on some paradox pokemon that came out of the area-0 rifts and how much destruction they can do. The protagonist’s job as a pokemon researcher and protector of jigitaro is the responsibility of keeping the paradox pokemon from destroying the region at all costs. Apparently when the paradox pokemon go through the rifts, they get plagued in the mind with some sort of ultra-space energy, which makes them go crazy and rampant. Anyways i ended up making professor baobab (thats the way to pronounce it) and the starter pokemon. I hope you like the old jigitaro introduction video (the england one) and i wish you a good day :D

Wow! I don’t normally come across legendary beasts based on the other Eeveelutions and I gotta say, these ones look great! Out of all the ones featured, I’d have to say Omosai is my favorite. One, because I love Sylveon. Two, the design is very elegant and majestic; like Suicune. And three, it stands out from the rest; being very unique in comparison. I’m actually inspired to try my hand at creating my own legendary beast designs. It’s a fun idea to do.
Moraun is definitely my favourite, but I feel like if Omosai had had even a slight hint of those saber teeth a lot of the other Legendary Beasts have it would have been my favourite. It's a lot like Enamorus, which I think is a critically unappreciated Legendary design because people just yuck on hearts and pink really easy, but which has a really strong silhouette and a really interesting therian design. I think Omosai really represents those fair, sleek elements of the more beautiful and ethereal Fairy types really well. I simply love a large grass type I can ride too much u-u)
I will be completely honest, Omosai is the number one out of these I would hunt down for my party. Omosai feels like a sort of protector fae, something that is hard to earn the trust of, but once you do, you have a lifelong partner and guardian who wishes you nothing but happiness.
I hate when the entire group is bound to a single ability or ability theme for both their regular and hidden abilities, especially when both are weak competitively. I much prefer the way it is handled for starters where they are allowed expression theough the hidden ability but united through regular ability. So to break the trope and not go with the obvious fit for the abilities here is my proposition: Amatsu: Power point - One time power herb (useful for meteor beam/solarbeam) Eberus: Shadow Shield (helps lean into bulk and allows for mostly free setup) Moraun: Plentiful Harvest - Combines Harvest and Ripen to allow berries ro be incredibly powerful if you take the necessary steps to activate them Kyoshei: Snow Warning (unoriginal, yes, but works out best so it can set up Aurora veil and Blizzard) Omosai: Ethereal Drain - Heals 1/8 of damage dealt (basically the Shell Bell item as an ability)
I thought this was a second Transformers as Pokemon episode (thumbnail having rise of the beasts written on it which is the title of the latest transformers lifeaction movie) :( still cool idea though
It was really hard to choose a favorite, they're all so great! It ended up being a tie between Omosai and Amatsu, I would gladly run all over any Pokemon region to catch them.
I feel like their normal abilities should be pressure and their hidden abilities should be the normal abilities of the eeveelutions, since the og legendary beasts had those abilities at one point
Though the theory of Entei, Raikou & Suicune being reincarnated forms of Flareon, Jolteon & Vaporeon respectively got debunked. These concepts are quite interesting. I love the Sylveon one so so so much. And to further expand of the ideas of the Legendary Cats...yes the Johto beasts actually are primarily derived from traits of cats like Lions, Tigers, Leopards....how about making past paradox versions of those new beasts since the current paradoxes of Suicune, Entei & Raikou are Past Paradox versions of them... Walking Wake being a T-Rex/Raptor Gouging Fire being a Triceratops Raging Bolt being a Brontosaurus [as it is known as the Thunder Lizard]

I would most definitely have the Sylveon one on my team because she is my favorite eeveelution even though I am not a girly girl I would go for a shiny one though cuz that's more my style but still I would have this one on my team

4:28 I'm not in love with this design. It's way too dark for what you'd expect of something based off of the *Sunlight* pokémon :/ looks dull and definitely more like a concept design for the Legendary in pkmn Moon (Lunala? Idk I played Sun-). You should have chosen more warm tone colors or at least give some color to the space mane??? You could have thrown in some soft pinks n yellows, and it would've probably saved the original concept

My favorite Eevee-lution is Glaceon so I love Kyoshei but I also like Amatsu & Moraun
I feel like their normal abilities should be pressure and their hidden abilities should be the normal abilities of the eeveelutions, since the og legendary beasts had those abilities at one point
Omosai should have an ability like Cute Charm, but it works on every gender

My top 3 favorites from this video are Moraun, Omosai, and Eberus.
Then the number of views just hit the number of the beast
Though the theory of Entei, Raikou & Suicune being reincarnated forms of Flareon, Jolteon & Vaporeon respectively got debunked.
These concepts are quite interesting. I love the Sylveon one so so so much.
And to further expand of the ideas of the Legendary Cats...yes the Johto beasts actually are primarily derived from traits of cats like Lions, Tigers, Leopards....how about making past paradox versions of those new beasts since the current paradoxes of Suicune, Entei & Raikou are Past Paradox versions of them...

4:28 I'm not in love with this design. It's way too dark for what you'd expect of something based off of the *Sunlight* pokémon :/ looks dull and definitely more like a concept design for the Legendary in pkmn Moon (Lunala? Idk I played Sun-). You should have chosen more warm tone colors or at least give some color to the space mane??? You could have thrown in some soft pinks n yellows, and it would've probably saved the original concept
