  • Kudos to the scores from the 1985 TV series "Amazing Stories". Especially this "climax" music from the episode "The Mission", performed by the Royal Philharmonic I THINK (could not find ref right now but was some big orchestra in the UK). John Williams did most but this episode by another dude.
Perfect fit to the GREAT original story (starring Kevin Costner and Kiefer Sutherland with a powerful performance by Casey Siemaszko). Everyone else was fantastic, too. Steven Spielberg production so that says it all. Able to use this score in other videos and about reached its limit except for this grand final bow.
NO FOUL to the filmmakers for choosing to OMIT any dramatic music in this scene. In context, it was the right choice and seemed more realistic. So here's an alternate version for those who wish a little more wallop audio-wise.

    The music is not needed.

@@CoalCreekCroft And ... no he didn't miss the point. 'Music vs silent' and he said music not needed and I agree. Meddling edit - I agree and I'll leave it. The added score was harsh and overly dramatic for such a scene. Knowing when to add music and what kind is an art that they give awards for. Cheers.

@@theodorebolan6724 For the love of God,the title, description and WHOLE POINT. I noted, agreed and saluted the rare choice of not adding music to the theatrical release. Worked much better but here is just a VARIATION. Chrissakes, a fraction of people out there do not think, read or process. I cannot help intellectual bricks.
