- I thank you for checking out this video, Im just your average guy having Fun with tools. I test tools out to see what these tools can do, and what they can't do. Please Subscribe to the channel and get that tool fix here. Have a great day!
Most brand names out there are reliable but Hilti got reliability and longer warranty.
Thank you for your time and effort making great video.
you are welcome
Hilty really rocks . This idea is really genius for those of us who need versatility from tools, not just many tools. Keep it up guys.
I thank you for viewing Andre
I can’t believe how small this channel is. The video quality is so good and focusing on the tool and screws being drilled helps a viewer/potential customer get a very good idea how a tool handles in hand. Very informative also. Keep the good videos coming * subscribes*
I seriously thank you so much for your Support Luxiian. I also Reply to every first initial comment that every comments on every video
Hilti always had supreme products. Not cheap but definitely worth buying it!!
I agree with you on that and I thank you Interceptor for viewing :)
Glad to see some companies finally seeing you and reaching out. Keep up the good work man
I thank you Lucas
Hi Dave, I’ve used hilti and Milwaukee most of my professional life and the hilti has always had an outstanding warranty and the tools always held up well, I used it mostly for rehabilitation work and driving bolts into concrete, excellent quality tool, this drill your demonstrating is quality and very impressive, I’m very impressed not surprised from hilti excellent product, excellent quality video ty so much, Bob,
That drill is amazing, lets see it up against the Milwaukee m12 that has all the attachment. One thing I like about hilti tools in general is there looks, they basic and understated but at the same time they look high end and classy. To me the look screams high quality.
once I get the m12 I will be doing a vs video on it. and I thank you for viewing Kristian
He has the prettiest cleanest tool shed I have ever seen
I try to keep it clean. I spend about and hour in there every day just cleaning after my messes lol
Stop at 7:43. Since having my tools stolen I'm slowly buying tools again. I bought an angle attachment for the festool pdc or dpc drill non Hammer drill. Using a chuck on angle I had my finger on the part the chuck spins and at the highest speed I got a friction burn. Oh my goodness. You put your hand on the end so you can have pressure driving in screws or drilling. Just keep your fingers and hand away from where it spins. It certainly bites. I have a white mark now. This tool looks real good. You need a few angle drills for certain jobs. In fact all the time.
HILTI is a good way to go. I trust in the quality of HILTI
Same tool by Mafell and Metabo, except for excentric. Have Mafell now for about 5 years and i like it very much.
very good and I thank you C Eelman
Nice job again Dave. Good for you that they send you this one.
I thank you Jeron
Good focus on brands others don't focus on. You should demo Festool, too. You'll get viewers that can't find those reviews elsewhere.
I plan on getting Festool soon, and I thank you for the support Grand
Haha I just think it's crazy because 12v tools and ryobi are my biggest tool interests, I love all tools especially hilti over others but I have a thing for 12v and ryobi as well, just stoked I found your channel a dew months ago, no idea how I found it but thanks for the content once again, big fan brother keep up the great work! 👌👏👏
I thank you for sticking around Levi
... nice review, very good tool , a little late in the market , Bosch and Milwaukee already concurred the this market.
Yes they did. and I thank you MrDino
User error! The chuck tighten is in one way no click back, if you release 1 click then the chuck will be unlocked. That will damage the chuck mechanism and the bit.
Not true. if you click one back after it is tightened it locks the chuck in place
That’s the same Röhm chuck that comes with all of the German drills. Tighten and then click back as he was doing is correct. Just checked a couple Metabos and a Boschs. Yup.
Contrary to all of my talk about german drills, the Germans don’t even bother offering what Makita, TTI and SBD put up and so I run 95% Makita all day (Milwaukee or Dewalt would have sufficed just the same). The Makita drills definitely don’t want you to one click back on the chuck. 😅
@@robertrada4783 I have try to my metabo like what you say. Cannot feel the confidence to the chuck, because release 1 click the chuck already unlock and I try to release a bit more then the chuck release without any resistance, the chuck is open. So I'm not confidence to this style (1 click back) and all my chuck still in good condition.
This HILTI looks awesome!
I agree and I thank you for viewing David
from a DeWalt guy this is quite impressive..
I love this tool. dewalt 12v tools are awesome as well
Try putting painters tape on the bottom of the board it will help keep the board from splintering like that should help with the bits jamming
I will try that and I thank you for the suggestion Albert :)
At 16 and 17 minutes of you had your hand on the top of the angle pushing down you would have got the same time driving in screws opposed to not using the angle attachment. No difference in power as it is direct drive. The same is with the festool. Looks like a very good tool. Love the 4 amp hour batteries. Imagine I had the festool 12 volt and it had the 2.6 amp hour batteries.
the time wasn't really that much different and remember I used speed 2 when I started the screws with just the chuck. it was pretty much the same time so there isnt really a power difference
He made it, all the Hilti butt kissing got him free tools. With love no disrespect, what a road, from ryobi to hilti
Are you jealous?
HILTI really is an extremely quality tool. they might not be the most powerful tool but I trust my HILTI tools to last longer than any other brand that I own
He is showing support :)
@@ManCaverTools gotta admit a lil jealous lol but you definitely put in the work for it got alot of videos out! good work!
Bout time was waiting for you to finally get one. I have this it’s freakin awesome
I love this tool and I than you for viewing David
Question for u, I saw TTCs video on ur Milwaukee impact tht u made. Do u plan on trying the same thing with a ryobi unit?
@Man Caver Tools now two months later ,how are things working for you now ? Ok you got another Subscriber . Wouldn't hurt to share the love.
it holds up to what I got to do with it. the only attachment I dont use that much on it is the 1/2 metal chuck. I just use a 12v drill if I need that
Well done. I would like to see how it compares to the M12 Installation Drill Driver.
Yeah the m12 milwaukee and bosch installation drill
Once I get my hands on it I will
Yes sir
@@ManCaverTools take your time we appreciate everything you do
I had the same thought
Nice different attachements
it is a awesome tool
That is one heck of a weird amalgam of Metabo quick change chucks and whomever the mfr is for Hilti.
I’m probably not the first one to mention this but the bit holder from the bit kit is a Wera rapidaptor. The whole kit is from Wera, but that’s besides the point. The rapidaptors are available in different lengths and worth checking out. I like their 75mm one.
How’s the runout on the bitholding chuck that came with the Hilti? The one’s I have on the Metabos do windmills. I had a Fein one that had a wiha bitholder on it and that was ok, but neither really came close to the original Festool solution (centrotec chuck + proprietary shank bitholder). Bosch has a somewhat elegant solution on their 18v muti chuck: No bit chuck, the hex portion has a locking bit chuck (works best with wire detent insert bits, just okay with power bits).
Very good and thank you for the info Robert
@@ManCaverTools I have the metabo blq 12v and it's chuck attachments zre made in CZ, and very similar
Nice. Maybe in the future tool companies will send you more tools to review. I am not a big hilti fan but I do like this one you showed. I am still a die hard Ryobi fan.
I really wish Ryobi would make a good 12v system
very useful tool
I love it and I thank you sir
Your videos are really entertaining.💯👌
I thank you Prabpreet
time 11:40 it did not bled through the other hole u simply snapped your wrist. The wrist will never be the same. p.s. dont use power tools no more you dont know what your doing.
Nice demonstration video! I've bought one for myself and I'm loving it. How about make a video comparising hilti scw vs milwaukee css55 circular saw?
along with that I want to do the Dewalt Extreme version as well
@@ManCaverTools That would be 👍
Hi Dave when you have no heads on the drill the metal collet excepts 1/4" bits just letting you know so if your in a tight space you don't need to use any of the heads thanks for the video
7.47
Yes it does. I show that in the video
Hi man caver! Good to finally see a solo review on this tool. My question, does the eccentric (off set) attaches to the right angle? In other installation tools they do...
Yes it does. im sorry I didnt do that in the video
Oh, good to know! Thanks man.
First so Happy for you !!! 2 more and 400 VIDEOS !¡¡!!!!! CONGRATS MY FRIEND !
Curious if you have any extra Kobalt 24v or 40v Bàtteries?? I only have one of each that I got with my mower and trimmer and blower combo kit. and I THINK YOU AGAIN !!! I'M SO EXCITED
Unfortunelty I do not have extra cobalt batteries :(
Fantastic Review!
I thank you Bob
Ooo I like it
it really is a nice tool set
That's a beautiful machine.
I 100% agree
Wow 👌👍
I agree and I love this tool
Hi Dave, nice vidéo with your New Hilti drill as usual. I Hope one day the Hilti Factory send you a invited to Europe because you a better seller than the official vidéo . Good job, Man !👍🇫🇷👏🙂
I thank you very much for your support Darius :)
Neat tool, don't see the batteries lasting long or even the motor if you're doing 25mm speed bores consistently. Definitely great for service work though
More tests will be coming and I thank you for viewing Wears
I have most of the 22 platform tools and ventured into the 12volt for small jobs. I find myself just grabbing the A12 drill, screwdriver,or Impact or saw a lot more than I thought I would . At actual voltage of10.8 volts , the power and running time is greater than I expected. They will not replace full size tools but my subcompact tools are very handy even when occasionally used for jobs that are better suited to a larger tool.
@@jasonwalter382 I've got a 12v makita impact and drill. The drill is pretty meh but the impact is incredible
Hey Dave, I’m mostly a Milwaukee guy but I love them all. I have the M12 installation driver that I LOVE but just got the Festool cxs just because I wanted a “fine” German tool in my collection . What do you think of that model? (Not sure if you’ve reviewed that)
Thanks
Are you gonna do all the installers? M12 dewalt this and bosch?
when I get the other branded versions I will
Like your gonna say no when ask if u want it lol Hilti is really trying to compete with the big dogs
12 volt tools are dope. I am currently tryijg to expand my dewalt 12v arsenal. But i need to get a few more 20v before i can do that. So far i only have the lazer with 3 batteries.
Dewalt needs to make more 12v tools
Yo MCT! Not sure if it's out yet, but could you test the Hilti exoskeleton!
If I can get my hands on it I will, I thank you for viewing Amos
wow this drill is great i have the same but brand parkside 👍🙂
very good and I thank you for viewing all in one
Same but Brand parkside ?
Parkside is trash
You kept the timer even though you stopped drilling, on the first one.
Hilti cordless tools prices are too much, are they selling lots of these? Like dewalt, milawaukee, ryobi, makita, ridgid, metabo, metabo hpt.
I am not sure how much they are selling of this tool
Do you prefer this new SFE-2-A12 over the SFD-2-A12 & why if you don’t mind?
I’m looking to buy one of them this week.
great tool for the price!
I think so as well
Que belleza de Taladro...Siempre Top la Hilti...!!...ji ji ji
I thank you for viewing Jale
Great video man, and how do you prefer 12v tools, with the batteries in the handle (like milwaukee, bosch) or out of the handle (like Hilti)?
Milwuakee m12 is very powerful but the handles are very thick and awkward to hold. I like a little thinner handle. I feel that the m12 handles are thicker than the Ryobi handles are
You don't hate it. Just a little dissatisfied lol
lol
New Hilti like 👍
I do as well and I thank you Makita
Can you not put a screwdriver bit in the angle attachment on your drill? Mine has a magnet in there aswell great review btw
Yes you can I used this many times do far and it came in very handy in tight spots
Convinced me. Took back my Milwaukee m18s back.
I think its worth it and I thank you Andrew
You won't replace a M18's power, you won't even replace M12 gen 2 power which is probabaly the most you can get for thr 18/12 nominal volts respectively. The 12v system from Hilti is all about weight and ergonomics, they won't have wrist breaking torque. The installation driver is for just that, installation. You can still get lags and all that stuff in, but you need a healthy understanding predrilling and dealing with different materials.
My opinion is that the Milwaukee 12v is very uncomfortable trying to get 3 18650s inside a handle, but it's powerful. The Hilti I can use all day with no joint fatigue issue. Wish they can make a 12V brushless small circ saw for those quick cuts. The recip is a bit rough for delicate work typically you use 12v with.
I noticed you checked if it was "push in" to put the 1/4" bits into (where you dont need to pull the chuck out to get a bit into), I'm desperately looking for a 12v brushless drill that is "push in". my 6 year old 12v brushless milwaukee died and their new version is not push in and sucks. where can i find a 12v brushless that has a push in chuck???? please and thank you
I dont recall off hand on which ones are push in, but I do have a lot of videos that I show which ones are
Hola Dios te bndiga y buenos días una pregunta ya se encuentra la Hilti aquí en Perú trujillo
I thank you for viewing Angel
Your hilti you already had was also 12v
Where is your old 12 v charger
Do all hiltis come with 20v chargers and you have to buy adapter separate?
I gave that to a friend since I have the adaptor. But HILTI did send me the wrong charger
We had the privilege to do some in england for hilti they made us use there hilti tools only for the ones they did do we had to use our own non hilti tools
Very good and I am glad you were able to check out the tool
Is this the queen's English?
Hope this comes to Australia
Keep your fingers crossed
Contact Adzy's Goods, they ship tools worldwide, no need to wait :)
@@adamsolomon8346 will check it out. cheers
Nice Tool 😍
I agree and I thank you for viewing Gpower
AWESOME TOOL
I agree and I thank you Cool Dad
I'd really like to see the difference in those 3 as well
once I get them I will and thank you Levi
@@ManCaverTools the pleasures all mine thank you for the content
I want to more test this power tool.
more videos will be coming with this :)
Nice one Dave, entertaining a thorough! I like them Hilti tools, all my are corded as I’m into as small as possible footprint for batteries, so for me it’s Makita and CAS (Metabo / Mafell ) BTW, these drill look ALOT like the Metabo POWERMAXX BS 12 BL Q ;)
Very good and I thank you Jose
Nice💯💯👌
I thank you Toolman
My Bosch multi function tool is very similar to this Hilti...
All other brands that have this tool are almost that same and I thank you Peter :)
Try a 4 flute drill bit
Hi am a heating engineer,am currently using a hilti 14v impact but looking to buy something new, would the driver system on this drill happily say hang radiators/boiler brackets ie 2/3 inch screws..
Hilti 12v tools can drive in 8in timer locks in a non predrilled hole. so they are pretty powerful
@@ManCaverTools hi a watch you video on the hilti 12v driver also, was wondering how many 22mm wood spade bits do you think it could handle before battery drained 🤔
Thanks
@@rabhunter11 did you find out?
There you go
lol
Waiting for the same multi drill driver from Makita LXT
im hoping makita makes one soon
Makita DF032DSAE
@@tomcat4285I already own a Makita DDF083 (same as you recommended, but 18V), but it doesn't have replacement heads like this Hilti.
Now they need a Tap holder attachment.
I do think more attachments would be awesome
Sin duda hilti lomejor en errramienta
Should be able to use the right angle without the adapter
Yes sir. sorry I didnt show that in that video
so speed one ist stronger than speed two?
Good
very good and I thank you for viewing Daniel
Iv been seeing this type of tool now I get to see if they're worth a shit. Idk they look like a comprimise of everything. But maybe this will be a good type of tool
I guess for a diy it's a great tool. How much are the attachments? If they're not much cheaper than a whole tool then maybe someone wouldn't want it.to me the space saved and the potential money saved would be worth it idk about price or how much they are.. Or how durable they are
the attachment come with the tool only, for this model. Milwuakee cost $240 I think as a kit with 1 4ah battery I think
Hi, if you had to choose hilti 12v our metabo 12v which would you purchase with your own cash 💰 thanks
Id go for HILTI
VS the 12v Dewalt screwdriver? Great vid.
I thank you for viewing Josh
Is this multi drill brushless
yes it is.
@@ManCaverTools thanks I could only see brushless on description for screwdriver
Man caver is there gear reduction in the angle attachment?
I do thank you so much for viewing :)
Is there a 22v version of this?
no they do not and I thank you for viewing Fire
is this drill available yet?
I do thank you so much for viewing :)
I want to buy this but their website is giving me mega problems. What gives?
I have issues with it as well. for some reason the banks sees it as fraud for some reason
I tried to register my account and it’s saying my email is already registered with their website. That isn’t possible haha I’ve never registered before
Lol the Milwaukee's are much smaller and less bulky and honestly hilti has lost touch with the market, there tools are great but not worth the price any day.
I thank you for your feedback Slappy
I think their tools are great!
My Hilti gear always works. My Milwaukee gear doesn't a lot of the time. If I am going to work in a persons house I always take my Hilti tools as they are much more reliable. Gen3 combi, Gen3 impact and fuel jigsaw all have issues with triggers. Halfway through a job I pick them up and they don't work. I sent the combi drill back to Milwaukee and it took a week to get back to me. After my Hilti combi was dropped down a street drain during works it developed a rattle. I called my local Hilti rep and he was with me within half an hour with a replacement combi. He took mine away for repair and 24 hours later it was back with me. But there wasn't so much urgency on the repair as I had the replacement.

Hilti cost a man his soul and they still piss me off with their collets. Other than that a semi can run over it and it will still work.
I thank you so much for viewing :)
From China?
engineered in Germany made in china.
Pric
AEG/RIDGID has this idea a long time ago. Hilti just copy it
Festool is the first one to make it everyone copied it..
Milwuakee and Bosch already made this tool.
Their warranty is 2 years, not 20…
its 20-2-1

it depends on how you make the kit
