Hong Kong’s MTR South Island Train sounds similar to Beijing Subway line 6, including new Dubai Metro trains for Route 2020 (Rashidiya-EXPO 2020) Red Line (Jebel Ali-UAE Exchange) and also Green Line (Etisalat-Creek) too, and it was delivered since 2018-2019, and it was opening of Route 2020 from Jebel Ali to Al Furjan started operation using Dubai Alstom trains since January 1st to End of May, it was started on June 1st, it will be using new trains (Alstom) to Expo 2020 from Rashidiya for World’s Expo before opens on October until end of March 2022, while you travel to UAE Exchange station, it will stop at Jebel Ali interchange station and you will be transfered to Red Line platform from Route 2020, thats true, according to Dubai’s RTA Statement.
I think that the OPTONIX used on the Sydney Metro will be also used by the Alstom Metropolis trains that will be introduced to the line 5 of the Bucharest subway system in Romania.
On 0:55 the propulsion sounds the R211P on the PTA game. You will hear that on PTA Callaghan and Madison lines.
yea
The MTR Alstom OPTONIX is actually being installed on the R211 for New York City Subway!
wow I’m from Hong Kong and I did not know
Good question
MTR? ☠️☠️☠️☠️
it might be it was not fully sure
It could be true
0:47 I heard the RapidKL arrival chime
For a split second, the Sydney metro sounded a lot like the 1996 tube stock.
As a Hong Kong resident,I can prove that the doors chime gives me a familiar feel
Operated by MTRC
The motor sound was split between the MTA's New Gen R211's and MTA's R160 Siemens and Kawasaki Heavy industries R142A/R188 and the R143
MTA NYCT’s R211As are being installed with this propulsion so this is what we might hear and it sounds so cool!
The OPTONIX is being installed on the LA Metro Siemens P2000 trains as part of a rehab
They’re also installed on the R211As for NYCT!
Same Traction as Nanjing Metro Line 7 and Shanghai Line 15
Hong Kong MTR S-Train (Alstom Optonix IGBT-VVVF) 🇭🇰👍🏻
It’s a shame the R211s didn’t end up with these
they did lmao
They did, they just sound different.

It sound like R143 R160B and R179 mix together
Why does it sound like the actual R211a from OL
Because it’s the exact video that was programmed into OL
Sounds so weird not hearing the sound glitchy xD

I might have to tell you this New York City United States R211A has the Optonix propulsion

@@EpicThe112 You're pretty right!
What is missing here is United States New York State MTA R211
The MTR train sounds pretty similar to alstom trains in the dubai metro
The r211 might use the mtr-s propulsion
Confirmed. No.
R211A Propulsion Alstom most insane ever realistic on Max Transit

Technically it's a joint venture.
Did you know that the announcements at the Sydney Metro stations are text-to-speech? They use Apple's Australian English TTS voice, Karen.
No wonder it sounded familiar :)
haha, kArEn
@@CLeungistravelling Even the on-board announcements on the buses in Canberra use that voice!
