Man. The concept and overall look of this statue is one of the best Magneto statues out there, it's so unfortunate it's got so many issues with the design and construction. That's so disappointing. Awesome as always though Karl!
Thanks for this video. After watching this I won’t even bother making my final payment of this piece. To me this is a dissapointment. I’ve made 3 payments on it but the last payment was 3 years ago so at this point I don’t even care if I lost it. Thanks for this review
As soon as you took the cape out of the box, before you even spoke, I said “that cape looks heavy as sh!t.” I’m so thankful that you reviewed this because I was LITERALLY minutes away from buying this from someone. While I do love the look and design, I have had multiple statues with heavy capes or a single support leg crack. Hard pass! Thanks Karl!
I painted the original prototype of this. The design was so bad and was so fragile they had re-design the whole thing. I wouldn't even ship the prototype because I knew it would show up totally destroyed. This version is much better than the original.
Oh yeah i remember you did paint the prototype. It is still bad actually. We have a group chat with all some of the buyers. All of us are still having problems. But yeah maybe its just better but didn't really fix the issue
Holly smokes 4 years. Man that Magneto was lost in the vacuum of time and space. Amazing concept and look of the piece once it is put together but horrible engineering. They not only did not give you an art box or print but two of the three portraits are not worth getting it for. Sorry but they really didn't make a high quality product with this sculpt. Unfortunately for the waiting time and poor quality control issues I would have to rate this piece a 4 out of 10. Wherever you place the statue make sure that the Cape touches the wall to keep it stable. Nice looking statue but good luck with it in the long run.
I actually have it now leaning to the wall with a curtain behind it so it doesnt the wall directly. I think its much more stable now. True its the studios fault for not following up, its a troublesome experience. I think this was rushed even though it took 4 yrs.
I would glue in the piece under his left foot. Also its not an aura it is his forcefield forming, I think. The blue is a sentinel turbine I think.

Yeah man its a total disappointment. It honestly feels rushed. But i was expecting it not to be good anyway. Lack of commitment

No problem. Yeah it was heavier that i expected. Thought it was plastic actually. Gonna need to find an acrylic rod to support this.
