Went to his brother who is a urologist and he verified yes there's a potential cancerous tumor in my prostate but he didn't have an anesthesiologist available to biopsy it until 2 to 3 months down the road. On the advice of my dear friend Steve L. Williams I sought out another urologist and every time I looked around I kept coming back to a Doctor Mitchell Benson, a urologist and oncologist. (when God leads you, FOLLOW) We did a biopsy and my Gleason scale was a 5 out of 10. A 5 meaning there is definitely cancer noticed, 10 meaning you're pretty well f*"#ed. 5 Weeks later I had my prostate removed and when that tissue was biopsied the Gleason scale on that was 8 1/2 pushing to 9. So you see what happened, as soon as the evil one realized God was trying to save me he ramped up the speed of the cancer growth. Had I done ANYTHING different than exactly what I did in following the lead that GOD OFFERED through my friend Steve the cancer would have spread all over my body in a very short amount of time. 🕎✝️ Always remember my friend, God's timing is PERFECT. There are days it seems like He's not listening but it's because He's really putting in motion the things that are going to be the answer to your prayers. Keep trusting God🔥 and Jesus💖✝️ and the Heavenly Hosts😇😇. And remember, many are called, FEW are Chosen. Never doubt that YOU are among the Chosen ones and that you were Chosen to spread the Gospel, the GOOD NEWS to ALL MEN that God is ALIVE and He LOVES us so much He BECAME one of us to sacrifice Himself for our sakes.💖🔥💖🔥💖🔥
The powers that be are dividing us with simple tactics they have used many times before. Don’t let them win. Love all trust a few and do harm to no one. They win as long as we are divided.
The video and lyrics fit perfectly with what has happened this year. Absolutely incredible.. You would think they made this song in the past couple months...
I love Tom's voice. It's like balsam for my soul. It's so extra fabulous, great and stuff, I think there won't be similar voice for a very long time. He's so special for me.
Tom has evolved in every way. His lyrics bring another meaning to poetry. Every metaphor and analogy he makes is awesome. He mixes Hardship and war with hope and most importantly LOVE. So much spirituality in his music.
Angels and Airwaves - Surrender Lyrics [Verse 1] There is a crowd in here, that fooled themselves They brought their friends, and they made their hell They fake their grin, in a lonely cell To the bitter end But what do I know? There are a few in here, that hurt themselves; They kick, and bend in a dried-up well They call for help, and you know them well Are you aware? But what do I know? [Pre-Chorus] I, I will not surrender No I, I will not surrender No I, I will not surrender No I, I will not surrender [Chorus] When God falls fast asleep The kids still dance in city streets From the white house lawn to the middle east And all around I'm just saying that this time I feel it now When God falls fast asleep The kids still move to a steady beat Even if it's bombs landing at their feet Or all around I'm just saying that this time I feel it now [Verse 2] There is a place to hide It's in our minds It's in the dark It's well known that we have a fragile heart It's deep inside It has a sound that you can follow You feel like you hit a wall But you survive And it was hard for you to swallow I've been to that place before In spite of luck When you awake, a new tomorrow [Pre-Chorus] I, I will not surrender No I, I will not surrender No I, I will not surrender No I, I will not surrender [Chorus] x3 When God falls fast asleep The kids still dance in city streets From the White House lawn to the middle east And all around I'm just saying that this time I feel it now When God falls fast asleep The kids still move to a steady beat Even if its bombs landing at their feet Or all around I'm just saying that this time I feel it now [Outro] I feel it now This time I feel it now I feel it now This time I feel it now Oh oh oh oh oh Yea ah oh oh oh oh oh Yea ah oh oh oh oh oh Yea ah oh oh oh oh oh (This time I feel it now)
Just now giving them a chance. I was butthurt over Blink splitting so I never listened to them. Then Tom helped get the UFO vids released so I looked up the band and I've been missing out .... This song is absolutely phenomenal
Although I don't agree with him leaving blink, I respect him for it. Blink isn't the same without his voice but, I understand, he needs a challenge. I totally respect him for changing to better himself because honestly, doing the same routine day in and day out, makes you feel like your life is bland. Although most people would love to live his life in blink, we as people need a change. From me personally, my routine is the same everyday, and I'll admit to saying... I'm not the same. I'm always mad at my family, and I never want to hang out with my friends, I just feel like isolating myself. So I believe we as humans, need a change in our lives no matter if we're famous or not. He's still human. Thank you tom.
There is a crowd in here, that fooled themselves; they brought their friends, and they made their hell. They fake their grin, it'll only sell. I took it all in, but what do I know? Mark and Travis can go have fun with Matt. I'm not following them on their journey. Matt sounds way too much like mark and screwed up so many songs live and didnt do it like Tom so I don't like him. I'm staying with Tom :) plus, he helped me through a lot with depression so
I completely understand having a herniated Disc and it changing your life. Car accident at 18. Friends don't care or understand. They want to go to Cedar point, roller skating, etc. it's an invisible illness. I can appreciate wanting to make darker music that wasn't Blink material, and not wanting to tour. Standing too long, sitting too long on airplanes. The pain, the sadness, the aloneness, isolation. It's not being selfish. I love that fun, silliness, and party vibe of Blink but I also love the seriousness of Angels & Airwaves.
Wish I could of shown my friend this light and anyone else out there that has lost a friend. Never give up. Regardless of who you are. We are all here together. If you don't stand up, then who will? "I will not surrender."
As much as I'd rather have him back in Blink182, I like that I can still hear him singing. Even with the newer songs, it makes me think of better days.
Over an extensive career and in his very own ways, Tom Delonge has proven more than once the weight of his genius and his validity as a true artist. Originally I was not among one of his admirers, only after realizing that Angels & Airwaves was behind the 2011 epic feature "Love", I understood everything there was to know about this incredible art project. Now I am in the process of rediscovering his entire catalogue.
I never got that impression I've met Tom, and Travis both pretty nice, but actually Tom was way more down to earth. Travis was kinda cocky, but at that time it was understandable he was already pretty iconic.
You feel like you hit a wall, but you survived And it was hard for you to swallow I've been to that place before In spite of luck, and you awake a new tomorrow I, I will not surrender No I, I will not surrender Selalu terenyuh tiap dengerin lagu Angels and airwaves ❤️
mr. delong is, in my opinion, in a category of entertainers that i no longer receive solely in a spirit of entertainment.. alike that of the former comedian, jim carey; tom is someone i actually "listen to" with attentiveness anew. it has been a process over time, but this is the song that did it. i am a addict in recovery
I just watched a few AVA mvs and I think that had I not known that Tom was the lead singer of Blink-182 (alongside Mark), I would NOT have guessed that it was the same person. AVA is just really different from Blink, being more modern pop-rocky. Blink was different and spoke to the teenagers from the 90's, while AVA is fitting right in with today's scene (paramore, bastille, arctic monkeys etc). Neighbourhoods did sound a lot like AVA, which is why I continue to agree that Blink should just lay down peacefully and let kids continue to enjoy their hay day music (Dude Ranch, Enema, Take Off). The scene has changed, and Blink shouldn't try to change with it. Let AVA do that.
I like how Blink have grown up personally, and I think they have a place alongside AVA. AVA fuses all kinds of alternative influences, from prog rock to space rock and modern punk pop. It has grander themes and aspires to be this massive art project that goes beyond just music. Blink 182 on the other hand has obviously matured and now includes some of Tom's work with AVA, but it also includes the unique chemistry between he and Mark, and on the Dogs Eating Dogs EP brought in some of the hip hop work that Travis has been doing while on hiatus. There are marked differences between the two bands, and I think Blink works really well as a way of exploring more intimate and human subject matter, like the struggle to get on the career ladder as a young person and the effects of the financial crisis at a personal level (When I Was Young, Dogs Eating Dogs), and relationships as you grow older (Pretty Little Girl, Boxing Day). Basically, all the stuff that the people who grew up listening to Blink are going through right now. I'm not staying they should stick around as long as the Rolling Stones have, but they have at least two good albums left in them in their own unique style.
Blink should lay down??? Fuck that!!! They should comeback and save this generation from shitty sounding music like this. I Couldn't finish listening to the rest of the song.
Angels and Airwaves aren't in the same universe as Blink-182. Blink had a chance to make the rock and roll hall of fame. Angels and Airwaves barely sell out small venues. Tom has lost his mind.
Can't go to work or anything without listening this song and repeating myself this sentence : "No.. I will not surrender " I cannot describe how powerful those words are for me ..
Definitely my favorite AVA song. Nothing compares to the energy that comes forth when you blast this song and sing it at the top of your lungs. You just feel unstoppable. Nothing can bring you down. Love it. :)

On the advice of my dear friend Steve L. Williams I sought out another urologist and every time I looked around I kept coming back to a Doctor Mitchell Benson, a urologist and oncologist. (when God leads you, FOLLOW)
We did a biopsy and my Gleason scale was a 5 out of 10.
Always remember my friend, God's timing is PERFECT.
What a time to watch this video with everything going on right now
Word!
I cant believe more people haven’t heard this music
WhittyJr simple we have incredible power together but the elites take our power by dividing us.
The powers that be are dividing us with simple tactics they have used many times before. Don’t let them win. Love all trust a few and do harm to no one. They win as long as we are divided.
The video and lyrics fit perfectly with what has happened this year. Absolutely incredible.. You would think they made this song in the past couple months...
his voice is just beautiful and so calming
my voice too
ikr tom is so dreamy
Also Highly Edited, But that's not the point. Its beautiful to listen to regardless.
Wait until you see him in live performance, lol.
@@marixmontero7294 Actually he sounds incredible... Comparing with his voice from 2007-2018 lol
Boxcar racer blink 182 angels and airwaves, Tom Delonge thanks for all the great years
I love Tom's voice. It's like balsam for my soul. It's so extra fabulous, great and stuff, I think there won't be similar voice for a very long time. He's so special for me.
I feel this
Tom has evolved in every way. His lyrics bring another meaning to poetry. Every metaphor and analogy he makes is awesome. He mixes Hardship and war with hope and most importantly LOVE. So much spirituality in his music.
2024, and all around I'm just sayin' that this time I feel it now ❤
This song attacked me in my dreams last night, to were I was uncontrollably crying... (throwback to 2012)
This song lifts up my mood by 1374839287383294959493819147474

Very similar to Always/ Asthenia.

Angels and Airwaves - Surrender Lyrics
[Verse 1]
There is a crowd in here, that fooled themselves
They brought their friends, and they made their hell
They fake their grin, in a lonely cell
To the bitter end
But what do I know?
There are a few in here, that hurt themselves;
They kick, and bend in a dried-up well
They call for help, and you know them well
Are you aware?
But what do I know?
[Pre-Chorus]
I, I will not surrender
No I, I will not surrender
No I, I will not surrender
No I, I will not surrender
[Chorus]
When God falls fast asleep
The kids still dance in city streets
From the white house lawn to the middle east
And all around I'm just saying that this time I feel it now
When God falls fast asleep
The kids still move to a steady beat
Even if it's bombs landing at their feet
Or all around I'm just saying that this time I feel it now
[Verse 2]
There is a place to hide
It's in our minds
It's in the dark
It's well known that we have a fragile heart
It's deep inside
It has a sound that you can follow
You feel like you hit a wall
But you survive
And it was hard for you to swallow
I've been to that place before
In spite of luck
When you awake, a new tomorrow
[Pre-Chorus]
I, I will not surrender
No I, I will not surrender
No I, I will not surrender
No I, I will not surrender
[Chorus] x3
When God falls fast asleep
The kids still dance in city streets
From the White House lawn to the middle east
And all around I'm just saying that this time I feel it now
When God falls fast asleep
The kids still move to a steady beat
Even if its bombs landing at their feet
Or all around I'm just saying that this time I feel it now
[Outro]
I feel it now
This time I feel it now
I feel it now
This time I feel it now
Oh oh oh oh oh
Yea ah oh oh oh oh oh
Yea ah oh oh oh oh oh
Yea ah oh oh oh oh oh (This time I feel it now)
Just now giving them a chance. I was butthurt over Blink splitting so I never listened to them. Then Tom helped get the UFO vids released so I looked up the band and I've been missing out .... This song is absolutely phenomenal
I still think this song is their best song out of all 5 of their albums, I could listen to it all day....
What about secret crowds ?
+Deftones #1 Fan secret crowds is very good but I love surrender
Mine is Lifeline, followed by Secret Crowds and Surrender
The adventure?
I remember listening to this song on christmas of 2014, and almost 8 years later, i still come back to listen to this legendary song and band
Matt watcher involved in 30 seconds to mars video clip, "from yesterday". Published 2007
Tom will always be my favorite guitar player and singer.. Blink-182 and AVA will always be my favorite bands
Nostalgia and New York 2013 vibes even I never went there
🤣 for wrestlemania 29?
@@matt__0524 yes 😂

I love this songs, I love this bands
Angels and airwaves, Box car race, blink 182 , Plus 44 and I love TOM.I love your voice.
tom delonge wasn't in plus 44 btw, but still great choice
Love you tom till now !!!
love from nepal 2022 !!!!
i'm really sad that Blink's gonna move on without Tom.. It's not gonna be the same again without him :(
ChrisKRhyme but god he's so good on his own too.
***** its not the same
Mark and Travis can go have fun with Matt. I'm not following them on their journey. Matt sounds way too much like mark and screwed up so many songs live and didnt do it like Tom so I don't like him. I'm staying with Tom :) plus, he helped me through a lot with depression so
+ChrisKRhyme Blink started to suck after TOYPAJ..The Mark, Tom, and Travis show will always be one of my favorite albums, though.
Tom>Blink
the song most underrated of his generation
I completely understand having a herniated Disc and it changing your life. Car accident at 18. Friends don't care or understand. They want to go to Cedar point, roller skating, etc. it's an invisible illness. I can appreciate wanting to make darker music that wasn't Blink material, and not wanting to tour. Standing too long, sitting too long on airplanes. The pain, the sadness, the aloneness, isolation. It's not being selfish. I love that fun, silliness, and party vibe of Blink but I also love the seriousness of Angels & Airwaves.
every time it breaks into the chorus I get deep chills
It's amazing after all these years Tom's lyrics can still move you.
Love
I emotionally evolved ffrom bllink to Angels and AIrwaves. Such a great band to listen to when you're in a rut.
AVA are my religious belief.
+Max Kull-Sandin "/\\//\"
and we can prove they exist... hahaha
+Alexandre lech Agreed
+Alexandre lech Damn, you literally roasted every religion right there. Nice.
can I join
Wish I could of shown my friend this light and anyone else out there that has lost a friend.
Never give up.
Regardless of who you are.
We are all here together.
If you don't stand up, then who will?
"I will not surrender."
❤
Still the best WrestleMania theme song!!
As much as I'd rather have him back in Blink182, I like that I can still hear him singing. Even with the newer songs, it makes me think of better days.
Thank you Tom.
Anybody else enjoy Angles more than Blink but still have amazing memories of both growing up?
This is one of those songs that still "slaps" as much now as the first time you heard it.
This was always my favorite from the two LOVE albums
2019 and I'm still here listening.
Tom is always in my heart. I love his voice. my favorite singer of all time. his voice melts me .
It’s 2024.. I haven’t went anywhere.. still listening to this
Over an extensive career and in his very own ways, Tom Delonge has proven more than once the weight of his genius and his validity as a true artist.
Originally I was not among one of his admirers, only after realizing that Angels & Airwaves was behind the 2011 epic feature "Love", I understood everything there was to know about this incredible art project.
Now I am in the process of rediscovering his entire catalogue.
I love this song so much. Idk it inspires me and makes me work hard.
Tom Delonge is in my top 3 singers, no questions.
His unique style puts him in a genre/class of his own.
I never got that impression I've met Tom, and Travis both pretty nice, but actually Tom was way more down to earth. Travis was kinda cocky, but at that time it was understandable he was already pretty iconic.
I just subscribed in 2023 but Ive listened to them since the 2010s ... 😅
How could anyone not like this band
I feel like Angels & Airwaves was the project where Tom gave us the very best of his vocals :)
where are bands like this now ? I am from the punk age what are they all "i made my money and going home "
They are working on a new album!:)
Another amazing song!! AVA music never gets old 🫶
I've been here before a few time s
and I'm quite aware were dying
Literally same song
Going back and forth lol literally the same thing
I hate this song less than most of the Angels and Airwaves stuff. Makes sense why...
Me got inspired now ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥
You feel like you hit a wall, but you survived
And it was hard for you to swallow
I've been to that place before
In spite of luck, and you awake a new tomorrow
I, I will not surrender
No I, I will not surrender
Selalu terenyuh tiap dengerin lagu Angels and airwaves ❤️
Artina naon
Ternyata emak emak juga suka lagu tom wkwkk
Artinya apa mbak^^
i dont know why people say he should be in Blink-182 i really enjoy AvA and think its a great fit for Tom to make some great songs!
mr. delong is, in my opinion, in a category of entertainers that i no longer receive solely in a spirit of entertainment.. alike that of the former comedian, jim carey; tom is someone i actually "listen to" with attentiveness anew.
it has been a process over time, but this is the song that did it.
i am a addict in recovery
AVA are the best band in the world!!!
And blink183 is now boring
*****
Truth hurts, I know doll.
Escucho blink 182 desde que tenía 10 años y así sucesivamente boxeo car racer, plus44 , Angels AND airwaves me encantan!!!!
Can't go to work or anything without listening this song and repeating myself this sentence : "No.. I will not surrender " I cannot describe how powerful those words are for me ..
Watch this in midst of any conflicts.
Feels like a preparations for big war
The more the world falls into disarray, the harder this song slaps.
Argghhh So Nostalgic
9 years old and yet it's still a relevant jam of the times. 🤘🏻
Definitely my favorite AVA song. Nothing compares to the energy that comes forth when you blast this song and sing it at the top of your lungs. You just feel unstoppable. Nothing can bring you down. Love it. :)
WAOOOOO!!!!!!! I WILL NOT SURRENDER!!!!!!!!! I LOVE ALL THEIR SONGS!!!!!!!!! TOM DELONGE THE BEST!!!!!
I love how anonymous is all over this video! Wake up America...time to take your freedom back!
Every time I just wanna say " Fu-k it all", I put this on...and then somehow I know, everything's gonna be alright.
:) fear comes in waves keep 'ur head up 'ur not gonna drown
that short promo video for WrestleMania 29 during WrestleMania 28 introduced and hooked me to this song and I still listen to this song.
Its fun singing TheAdventure verse on the Surrender chorus ... OR NOT .
I'm so glad I'm not the only one who thought this
