    This was the best break down I’ve seen so far!!! Yes noticed similar things! Alison definitely did the ritual switch when she laid the hammer down and Eve was in the wardrobe. That’s why she said sorry sorry sorry so many times.. it also hinted she got her life back from that when the DOC showed her father’s obituary and she was the only child left. So she found peace it seems like. It seems like Eve will have to do a ritual switch to get her life back… most likely at the hospital.. which also is referenced time and time again.

      Yes!! That obit really seals the theory that she performed the ritual switch!
      And I would loooove to see Eve getting out of the hospital. It’s definitely referenced so often

    You covered so much! There are just so many patterns and references that seem connected. I liked the ending, but I would also love another book that explained some of the things he alluded to in this book.

      There's just so much to cover!! I even remembered a few other things I didn't hit on. We definitely agree on the ending, I was good with it as a horror thriller but I also want to know more about this Old House Universe!

      I was definitely close to tears 🥲 thankfully, I’m so obsessed with this book that I just had to do it again.
