I love your use of continuous lighting- I switched to all continuous as well for one extra bonus- being able to capture great videos (as you did as well) at the same time- major plus and time saver! Finally relatively affordable continuous lighting has made this possible... Keep up the great work!
Yep continuous is the way to go for me. Honestly, I'm considering even using continuous lighting for more major client work. Helps out because the client can see everything in real-time, all the changes being made, how the light hits the talent, etc..

Can I ask which camera you used for the video footage - it has a nice look.
Canon C70 is the camera I use for BTS and video footage.

Looking at this, it is not true high key. Too much gray fall off. High key needs to be consistent across your background. White with no detail. 1 to 3 ratioI. learned how to do a session with just one light, using the technique known as key shifting. The only down side to the technique is you need high ws lights and bare bulb heads or high K lights to get the best results along with translucent scrimms. Its ok to do some subtractive lighting but not to much or you detract from the overall look by including unwanted contrast. Do it correct in the camera and you dont need too much post production.
Good points. Few photographers today have even heard of a 3:1 lighting ratio, I've found.
@@charlesmclaughlin6968 ...yes and many have no clue about exposure values based on fstop adjustments of one or more stops up or down, not to mention depth of field, and one third, two thirds. They are lacking so much in theroy, relaying only on their equipment doing it all. Let's not even include multiple lighting set ups. I'm amazed at how little they understand about what they are doing.
The girl is super and so beautiful ...not the conventional beauty but natural and breath taking . Very expressive face and looks provided you allow it to be expressed ....naturally .

How can this be called High Key Photography ? As far as I know this isn't a high key, rest I love the shoot, loved the model, loved the edits, but This isn't High Key

Sorry but those pictures are not HIGH KEY! You can't call high key some photos with white background and faded black/shadow. Wihte must be overexposed and with no details.
