@@aaronuthayakumar1967 the 90’s have plenty of conscious rappers, from 2pac, The Roots, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common, KRS One, Scarface, Goodie Mob, public enemy and many more, the 2010’s don’t compare

Damn I’m surprised they didn’t discuss and debate for 2016 . There were so many great albums on that year . Views by drake grew on me, life of Pablo was outstanding and generate a listen we waited for. Sremm life 2 was enjoyable , birds in the trap sing McKnight peaked was good. Flatbush zombies: 3001 is underrated gem same with Vic Mensa , there’s a lot going on, is one of Vic’s best work(imo greatest record of the year) You got Jeffery by young thug , blond by Frank ocean, untitled unmastered by Kendrick. The suns trade by Isaiah tirade . Cozy tapes vol. 1 and awh man 2016 was just a great year overall cultural wise and extremely fun.

as someone who loves taboo , swimming is really just on another level. don’t get me wrong. sumo , clout cobain , black balloons , black metal terrorist are some of his best ever songs but the emotional attachment , atmospheric production , and consistency with the album is incredible
Your videos are always GOATED, y'all should make an episode with the update regarding utopia and the snippets that have been played at ZOUK
Taboo vs swimming was probably the hardest year for me to choose. I personally listen to taboo more, but man Swimming is just an amazing album. I love both of them.
Both amazing but swimming is an emotional wrecking ball, shit i might go cry again to it now
This might be a hot take, but I don’t have either of those. I have Daytona.
I also have so much appreciation for cilvia demo. It’s one of hip hop’s most unique and non-generic albums. Isaiah’s best project, even though his other projects are still great.

Astroworld was album of the year in 2018. Even if it’s the most “obvious” or “mainstream” answer. Zero skips on that track list, with Daytona being a close 2nd another skip less album as well
