I remember living in North Wakefield NH and having the insulated box on the front porch the milkman put the glass bottles of milk in. I was around 4 then.

Thanks, Gandy. Believe it or not, we still had milk delivery to our front steps in 1970-72. I wonder if any milk routes still exist?
