Kung Fu theater came on from 9am to 1pm every Saturday morning when I was a kid. We didn't even know our parents existed when we'd be watching these lol. Good times!!!
When I was a kid in the 80s every Saturday after cartoons finished they used to show WWF wrestling then right after that 3 king fu movies. I was obsessed with these kungfu flicks but I cried when they killed the guy in white with the metal hands weapons and I also cried watching the other kungfu flick Chinese super ninjas at the end when the guy got killed at the end by the double chest. kick.
Watching this back then as a kid, I felt so betrayed finding out this wasn’t a legit sequel of 5 Deadly Venoms movie. Still a good SB film but I wanted to see the Lizards take on more venoms of different calibers.

IN-teresting how in many movies featuring the Venoms, oft times the main villain (Lu Feng's character) was so tough that Kuo Chu's and Chiang Sheng's characters had to "double-team" in order to survive let alone win. And this time we even get a "triple-team" (via Sun Chien) against Shaw veteran Chen Kuan Tai ... the stuff that great martial arts movies are made of.
I'm pretty sure he knew. Return of the Five Deadly Venoms was one of the many names this movie was given when it was marketed in the U.S. I even have a copy of this movie with this said title.

I prefer the original true Chinese title of The Crippled Avengers but in order to try to cash in on the success of five deadly venoms in the USA it was titled “return of the five deadly venoms” only because it had many of the same actors. I actually prefer this film over Five Deadly Venoms. One of my absolute very favorite Kung fu films

Same here every Saturday like clockwork me and brothers would watch these movies. And come Monday me and my friends would talk about them
