Round about 10 or so minutes, this movies shrooms kick in and it’s off to the races from there. Most entertaining movie I’ve seen in a very long time. Thanks for posting!

I was NOT expecting how wild this movie was going to be 😅
I skipped about 20 minutes in and saw dude just teleport to a whole different spot. These old school king fu fliqs never had the best production, but the way it happened spun my whole head off. I instantly rewound this and watched the whole movie afterwards.

That was fantastic! Wonderful direction from the almighty Chang Cheh. The Venoms kicking ass and a nice healthy helping of psychedelic horror. A Wu Tang Devil! That's about the coolest thing ever!
I love these old Kung Fu movies. Classics in my opinion. The art is very beautiful and the concepts are amazing. Especially the ones (majority if not all) usually have a moral to the stories. Much respect 👐

Plots are realistic, and are commentaries on the immorality of people. They tell the truth avout what good and bad things motivate people. The costumes are the best. Never have I seen men so attractively dressed. When i was a teenager, and had crushes, it wasn’t for rock stars, actors, singers or athletes (per se). It was these beautiful Chinese swordsmen, dressed in their finery, behaving like mature men with manners, sophistication and discipline. These characters were what I wanted as a boyfriend, lol.
The ORIGINAL name of this kung fu movie is really “9 Demons”. One of my favorites.

Yo, kung fu Halloween edition, 🥳👺👻this one goes down as one of my faves 😸the water skiing on the pond in the end had me reeling for a time, then I was like hmmm 🤔I would totally pay to see an act like that on ice! Jolly good show! ☺

Me&my cousins would go to the theater downtown, state and lake, in Chicago on most Saturday mornings &watch at least 2-3 karate movies,in the mid 80's...it would be a crew of about 8 or 9 of us just having fun downtown, good times man, good times 😀🎎👘🧧🧧🥋🥋🥋🥋

I like how after reviving his friend, he gives him a bunch of money and sends him to a brothel.

This is the most bizarre kung fu movie I’ve ever seen! I saw most of them in the early 1980s. This one being released kind of late, in 1984, probably explains why I never saw this one back in the day. The missing dialog, in some parts, was the only let down. This movie is like a wild fever dream!
What was the last year martial arts films regularly got release in theatres? 1985? 86?

I don't know what's happening, but at the 9 minute mark, I heard one guy's name is Joey and another guy's name is Garry and I was not expecting that. Then the 11minute mark hit and, just wow. From that point on, just wow. lol

Another supernatural martial arts film.
The character name choices in the translation are a bit silly considering the environment of the film.
This is another great supernatural film with plenty of martial arts in it, but it isn't a martial arts film. Don't expect training sequences or much rationale behind why characters can do what they can do on any level. Just sit back and enjoy the ride.

I have to point out, there's a few spots in the 40-50 minute range where the audio is missing. Other than that, this was an absolute delight to watch!

This honest to god is one of the best classic kung fu movies. It silly and over the top sometimes. But the story is actually super fucking interesting and has a big ending. I love this movie so much.

This is called the 9 Demons. Or just the Demons... somebody trying to capitalize off that Venom name. I have the original Ocean Shores vhs release of this. The first time I saw this was with my brothers in the 80s. We was cracking up over how big the female demon skull was - it was the size of a basketball!!!
