Personally I use my watch winders for my perpetual calendars and Vostoks with no quickset date because it drives me nuts to wind forward to reset these watches😬
I have a watch winder that holds 4 winders, I have around 30-40 watches and rotate them so they have a few days on the winder. I also have a Rolex from the 50s that belonged to my dad that he owned sinced 76, it's not been serviced since being in our family and still works great. I just wind it up every month or so.
I have a winder that holds four watches and is programmable, it’s currently set to wind between 900 and 1300 revolutions per day in both directions and that’s enough to keep my watches running. It means I can take them out and put them straight on my wrist without thinking about it, I know if I had to constantly reset them they’d get a lot less wrist time.
I personally give my watches a shake every 3 or 4 months, just to keep the lubes from hardening. I never get a watch serviced until it stops or time keeping is ridiculously bad. I have my fathers longines conquest from 1959 which was worn daily until 1979. Serviced once in 1981 as he tried to replace the expandable strap and never serviced since. But still goes. I give it a shake and away it goes wear for a day and it runs about 15 seconds fast per day. I would consider a watch winder a display cabinet that you would switch on for a day and then leave it for 3 months before switching on again. ps. half the fun of a perpetual calendar is setting them??
Wind your watches once a month and let them run down, it will keep the oils evenly spread and will not wear your watches out prematurely. An alternative is strap them to your dogs collar and take it for a walk, that will do it. try mounting the watches to a rotating guard on a circulation fan. That worked on my watch when in my cabin whilst I was at sea.
I can recommend the chiyoda dual watch winder digital display with 4 tpd settings from Amazon £100 Bought an aveitas and it was crap £230 Chiyoda for the price is great
not sure if anyone cares but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times then you can watch all of the new movies on InstaFlixxer. I've been binge watching with my brother for the last couple of days =)
This is exactly how I feel. Open my watch travel case and look inside, take one of my automatic watches into my hand and it's already ticking away💜 -just amazing, these time pieces are in our possession for a short amount of time. We buy them but will NOT be taking them with us👍😂🍻

I can only imagine

Special setting for the vintage Rolex

This explains why only my favourite watches and work quartz get all the wrist time
Not so bad, and with Seiko's magic lever system the two way rotation might be more efficient. Great review video. 👏
Thanks for watching!

I wind all my watches at the beginning of every month... even the quartz
I need this one mate! Does it come with a warmer? I'm a bit of a bubble blowing baby and suffer every time I put on a cold watch on my wrist!!😂😂
I’m sure the light would add a degree or 2

Great video, lovely high end cinematography.
I try but this is bigger than the usual watch and not photo friendly
Who hasn't got time to set a watch? Product creation where there is no need. Give your watch a rest. Then get to know it again with the crown.
Personal interaction, good stuff
