- Pretty awesome commercial here featuring two very early cereal mascots. They're bookends to a somewhat lame story. Would love to see these two more!

And old pieces of bread which somebody has stepped on which are baked loaves if flour and yeast which have become dry and then stepped on by somebody. Together with raisins, which are grapes that gave been allowed to dry in the sun for a very long time, they are an integral part of raisin bran.

I'm also thinking at those time, they didn't have an affordable way to print detailed photo images on boxes, but I could be wrong.
When you spend all your money on a cartoon for the commercial, so you have to do your design with an empty box and a permanent marker.
I can just picture a chorus of four dudes in 50s garb waiting behind the singers to chant-shout.

I mean, if such a thing as commercials need to exist at all, this is much better than the crap we have today. It tells you what the product is about, there's no room for confusion and it's not so quick that you might suffer an epileptic seizure.

Who needs constant video game stimulation when theres ball-in-a-cup? You just toss the ball, catch it in the cup, dump it out of the cup, toss it, and catch it in the cup again. The ball is on a string and attached to the cup, so theres no worry if you dont catch the ball in the cup. And clean up is as easy as catching a ball, in a cup.
