Those kids were lucky to be in commercials with Mister Denver. What a peaceful man he was, wish he was still here. All the greats seemed to have passed away due to plane accidents :( I will always love John Denver and Stevie Ray 😍 God bless them

Murder happens a lot, I guess that's okay to you? And, I'll have you know, I have donated plenty of time and money to the environment and animals. I remember those ads. Seeing them again makes me miss him even more. How many kids would voluntarily go for the plain bran flakes? Maybe they couldn't have raisins. The bran flakes box had a muffin recipe that I still make. Hopefully singing that Disney song doesn't get him cancelled. RIP John Denver.
Total random, but a neat trivia bit is that first commercial was shot on John Denver's home property. He had a deck extending out to a big panoramic overlook of Aspen, CO which is what you can see at the start where the bird flies by.

I had no idea JD did some commercials.And he did a fuckload of them too! Anybody know why JD did the ads? He was a millionaire several times over so it's kinda baffling why he'd do them.
His financial motivation to do it is anyone's guess. But he'd just been passed over to be part of USA for Africa when he started doing these. Don't know if that influenced it in any way.
