- Alabama murder suspect Casey White was taken to a maximum security prison after 12 days on the run. Just-released police bodycam video shows the 6-foot-9 White being taken into custody and searched over the hood of a patrol car in Indiana. His accomplice, prison guard Vicky White, shot herself inside the car following a high-speed chase. She died shortly afterwards in a hospital, and her death was ruled a suicide.

Standing at 6'9 Casey actually thought sunglasses and a hat, then a wig later would help him blend in... Maybe in a basketball player's locker room. Lol
The one time being too tall is a downside.
It worked for going on 2 weeks.

Everything seemed so well thought out...from the escape to the constant switching of vehicles, etc. But all it takes is 1 mistake and Casey clearly made that when he decided to dump the truck in a car wash outfitted with surveillance cameras. They say when you're breaking the law, you have to get lucky every day, but the law only has to get lucky once! Not only was dumping the truck in an area with cameras really stupid but then they ended up staying like a mile down the road! WTF?! With technology the way it is today, it's damn near impossible to get away. I'd like to think I'd do a little better job, but in addition to planning, there is also A LOT of luck involved!!
I love to fantasize about what I would do if I broke out of prison. How I would do my best to allude police and live a free life. I would try and lay low for a year or so until heat died down and then plan a way to get out of the country either north or south (probably south). But reality is that you would need a bank roll to be able to live your life. If you don't, it's going to be hard to get a job while being wanted.

So she’s heard saying “Don’t Kill Us!” On the dash cam audio but then shoots herself? Is that really what happened?
yeah seems kinda sketchy idk tho
It was a 911 call
Yeah typical women kill herself for a criminal, satan has taken another soul to hell
Who cares
Could be that he had told her other crimes he had done and didn't want her talking if they were captured. Very suspicious that she sounded so concerned for safety and then would just shoot herself
Everyone is mourning over this woman's death and wondering what possessed her to do this and saying "oh she probably regrets it" but tbh you don't escape with an inmate lover on your last day on the job because you were satisfied with your life ahead. It sounded like she was bored and wanted adventure or excitement which she got.
And being part of the justice system she obviously knew the chances of evading were slim. I think this was something she was ready for
That's exactly it. She's old so she probably isn't getting as much attention from men as she wanted and then this inmate starts flirting with her so of course she's flattered. She then let's him out because what's more exciting then being on the run with your bad boy lover? She felt like a young rebellious teen again doing this.
Exactly! She wasn't happy, he was probably the first man to truly pay her attention in a long time, even if he was playing her. Her being married didn't matter, not every marriage is a happy one. She wanted to leave it all behind, she was miserable.
Why would that woman help a murderer escape prison baffles me. For a loser of a guy she was willing to give up everything including her dignity. She deserved a lot better than Some loser in prison

Why is everyone blaming the death of the corrections officer on him? She was the one that gave up everything to be with a criminal. He didn't force her to break him out of prison. I'm not siding with the criminal at all. She's a 50 something year old adult that was eligible to retire and move away from the prison system, and start a new life. Instead, she chose to be with a criminal. She was well aware of her decisions, which is why she took her own life.
As a retired corrections officer I agree with you 1000%!! She made the decision to throw away her career and loose the respect of all those who knew her to run away with him and killed herself because she couldn't go back and face them!!
It takes 2 to tangle. He most certainly didn't tell her "No"

Sad for Vicky. Casey was locked up for a reason.
I don’t think he’s to concerned about never seeing her again, considering he’s doing time for killing one girlfriend and another one said she tried to kill her it was only a matter of time before Vicky lost her usefulness. And to be honest if she really did take her life I am not at all surprised. Would you want to have to spend any amount of time in prison after being a CO?
