Vin and Sori discuss A7x, Neil Tyson, and ...Thanos?
"Exist" is the musical interpretation of the Big Bang. The calm bit in the beginning is before the Big Bang. Then where it gets metal is the actual bang. The Vocals are the existence of humanity. Everything else is the universe after the end of humans. Unchanged.
So I was close! That’s brilliant so brilliant !
Very very close! Keep up the good work. I dig it.
Thank you.
This is their best song in my opinion. It shoes Syn's maturity, and their creativity as songwroters. Avenged Sevenfolds gets a lot of crap, but they don't deserve it.
Tá cáin goidte people hate them because they aren’t “heavy” enough for their tastes
That's complete ignorance on their part. I mean, it's their opinion, but basing a song on "heavyness" just seems ridiculous to me. Nothing wrong against heavyness, I'm a deathcore fan, but it's just ignorant. Especially this song, it's beautiful man.
Tá cáin goidte true I see it a lot with slipknot which is frustrating lol
Tá cáin goidte I think a lot of people who shit on A7X only know them for being metalcore. Now, I don't know who decided that all metalcore was bad, because it isn't, but they clearly haven't heard records like The Stage where they've matured a lot more.
I've been on and off avenged for years but in my opinion this album shows they have found there place. Such a good album and musicly a lyricly it's a journey. Hats off to them
"I like when bands are patient with the music" oh boy. You're in for a treat
Yes, we need that patience in our lives too, so it would actually help us think better and do less chaos.
Avenged Sevenfold - Higher!!!
I second that lol
i third to that
This is not a song, it's a adventure. an experience. A masterpiece.
A journey from the beginning to the end of all
Such a great song and reaction. Fun fact, A7X had Neil Degrasse Tyson come into the studio to record that bit at the end of the song. He only had one condition, that they use his words only for educational purposes.
Legit!!
As I watched more of the video, I enjoyed your thoughts on all of this songs subject matter. I also appreciate both of your in depth commentaries. I find your reaction videos the best on all of RUclips. Keep it up you two.
Also they only used NDT because Carl Sagans' estate wouldn't give them permission to use "little blue dot"
Cool!! What a huge compliment!!!-Sori🤟🏻
Absolutely true Brandan, I totally forgot about that part. Carl Sagan's "little blue dot" speech is wonderful. It truly shows how vast the universe is and how we are like a higgs boson particle comepared to it. Perhaps even smaller.
0:00-1:31 The almost empty universe
1:31-2:20 The Big Bang
2:20-4:06 The constant yet instability formation of stars and exo planets
4:06-4:40 The formation of the Milky way. A place utterly insignificant and almost unregarded among the other millions
4:40-5:20 Earth formed and a part of us slips away forming the moon, which gravitates towards Earth. Forever then.
5:20-6:10 Our planet Earth revolving around it's axis, cooling down...
6:10-6:56
Water showering over Earth and the so thought Art begins
6:56-7:26
Evolution takes place from the first anaerobic heterotrophic bacteria to the hominids
7:26-11:45 Humans. The supreme beings reigns over. ( I sincerely do not know if this was a pretty neat idea) Till then, bask in with the final words of Neil Degrasse Tyson.
11:45-15:40 ... "Until the rise of a new visionary culture, the cosmic perspective; a perspective in which we are one, fitting neither of the above nor below, but within."
Brooks Wackerman is a god level drummer. Insane. What a song !
Exist is the finale on The Stage, their album about space, humankind progressing too far, becoming one with artificial intelligence and trying to be immortal. This song is supposed to be a musical representation of the Big Bang through to the future of the human race. "Sailing away" and "high from the heavens" refer to humans achieving space travel and gaining access to farther reaches of the universe. But for all that advancement it's still a "shot in the dark." Then Neil comes in and talks about the plight of humanity as you so well analyzed. Just thought I'd give some context to relate the multiple parts in this song!
I also feel like the album is about everything that is wrong with our society. For example:
The Stage - Those who are higher than us. Do we really have liberty? Are we really free? Or are we just puppets on a Stage...?
God Damn - Religion
Exist - Kinda sums it all up, and concludes all the points mad in the album, and at Tyson’s speech, gives a solution.
- チェーボーCheebow God Damn is not about religion, it’s about government control.
WELL SAID
Spencer Hawk agreed about space travel. The singer is Christian, he wasn’t preaching atheist
"heaven" in this song mean "earth" so it would make sense.
This is the first time I've ever heard a song from them. Very impressed!.....15 minutes in, seeing it through :)
You've missed a lot my friend.
The Stage is such an underrated album. A7x squeezed so much prog/metal black metal and just a mixture of styles. This album is my favorite and this closer is an epic one
👍🏻👌🏼 they are sooooooooooo good. Avenged Sevenfold are amazing 🤩 Synyster Gates is 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼🤘🏻🤟🏼🤘🏼😍🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Hily shit you guys actually did exist? You HAVE to do something from the city of evil album! Do "The Wicked End"...that whole album is about the book of Revelation.
Lol! Enjoy! -Sori🤟🏻
VinAnd Sori I already have.Thank you guys...
haha that was my original reaction when I saw this video lol. Can't believe they did this song. An hour long reaction too lmao this is too much. Great job guys!
Please reaction Wicked end
100% agree! I'd be happy with anything off City of Evil, really.
That's Avenged Sevenfold!!! The greatest band ever! Forever! 😎🤘
React to Avenged Sevenfold "Roman Sky"
Jack DaKiller123 great song
Yeah its why I want them to react to it.
Jack DaKiller123 I was just seconding your choice
I know I agree
When you know what the song is about it's even better! It's my favorite after Save Me and Exist.
Avenged Sevenfold is a great band!!
Bricktowne Media yeah
It sure is!
There the fucking best
*best band
all personile are musician and insane , always top on line
Now THIS is how you review a song hahaha. love it.... keep the a7x songs going!
Thank you !’
Brooks is insane. This might be the best drum album EVER!!!
“A Little Piece of Heaven” please ❤️
Brooks feat avenged sevenfold, the drums in this song is insane
Recently found this channel, but avenged is my favorite band. And I love philosophy, and I love hearing your take on the lyrics and musicality. Y’all are great and a joy to watch and learn from!
'A little piece of heaven' and 'Dose' should be next by avenged sevenfold
Tristan Begay isn't Dose a cover? I agree with A little piece of heaven, though. Great song.
Dose wasn't in the line of covers. One of their singles that needs to be more known.
@@civil_fellow2985 dose is fucking incredible. It took itself to number one in my list. I've listened to it countless times and i feel it gets better everytime. You always find something new.
Such an amazing song! This is a7x at their best in terms of musicianship. Synyster Gates is on fire and also it's so easy to get sucked in by Neil degrasse Tyson's words at the end that it's easy to bit even notice the fact that the drummer is going absolutely ham during that whole spoken word segment. These guys would definitely be considered heavy metal but they change their style so often it's a bit hard to really classify them into any one sub genre. I think they mostly remind me of iron maidens style mixed with post black album Metallica mixed with a tendency towards prog metal.
George Bedrin Brooks is a beast.
"Real Metallica" = Creeping Death 😂 love to see Sori's reaction
..and a live version..
Listed... unforgiven trilogy coming to a close soon !!
Avenged Sevenfold is not metal, Avenged Sevenfold is AVENGED SEVENFOLD haha! Please react to Roman Sky!
Good choice
@Jaime No this is Patrick!
Andy Salter and country
"the stage" is a song think you'd both love the lyrics and message to from this band
I absolutely love this song and that you guys took the time to listen and really analyze it. You guys rock. I use this song as my main work out song, 15 minutes and I listen to it twice it comes out to a perfect 30 minute workout haha.
Lol that’s commitment !
Insane drumming.....
That wild beast-Brooks.
OMG!
This song is a masterpiece! Greetings from Brazil
Im glad you guys did this, and it makes me happy you noticed the drums! After the Rev they had Mike Portnoy from Dream Theater finish recording the drum tracks and tour with them. The next album Hail to the King they had this guy I really didnt feel his drumming. They fired that guy and now they have Brooks Wackerman from Bad Religion and ton of others bands. He played so well on this album, such a good fit for the band. Im sure the Rev would approve
8:36 "we should listen to this song with a blacklight on and.... " Oh I see what you did there a little sum sum riiight hahahaha
Hey guys! Love your reactions, your ideias and how you keep your minds open to try understand everything and everyone. God bless u now and always! Cheers from Brazil!!
Appreciate that !!
Syn gets a lot of respect but everyone always seems to overlook Zackie Vengeance
Avenged sevenfold - Afterlife next. Has to be the lyric video tho. Oh and BTW, don't forget about nothing else matters by Metallica
Got it! -Sori✌🏻
Ruan Singh yes please

Like when Van Halen did the video for the movie TWISTER, Awesome 🤘😎🇺🇸🍻
Please React to "Shepherd of fire" by Avenged Sevenfold.

When Syn’s vocals come in I always get the feeling of listening to the Beatles again for the first time... so amazing
Such an amazing song, band and reaction! Avenged Sevenfold is definitely my favorite band of all time, I just feel like I can relate to them. You guys should check out Requiem by them! It's dark and heavy, but so good!
What’s interesting to me is when theists try to tell atheists they live in a paradigm of despair. I have been a Christian and as an atheist seeing both sides and I can tell you that life has far more meaning to me when I am completely accountable for my actions and believe that my life is my only time to spend with loved ones and every moment for me now has infinitely more meaning. I’m more active, life is vibrant and I’m not taking anything for granted because this is as good as it gets. :)
I don’t think you were listening close enough. I quoted the classics, then I specifically said that other atheists may have a diff point of view... hence the show. Btw all the stuff about deeper wasn’t from Christians, it was from Bertrand Russell and Voltaire... hardly Christians ... we’re wasting valuable vlodcasting material !!
VinAnd Sori the beauty of atheism is nobody can speak for you. There are miserable people who don’t believe in God. There are also miserable people who do. I can only speak of my own experience and what I’ve seen reflected 1st hand in the atheistic Community.
Exist is a masterpiece. It's their musical rendition of the Big Bang. I think it was M Shadows who said that the instrumental part of the song is the beginning of the universe and once the singing starts is when humans came to be.
The instrumentals at the beginning were to depict the progression of Earth's construction after the big bang. Some parts chaotic, others melodic, all leading up to the birth of man and our mysterious nature.
There are parts to this song when you guys started talking about Metallica, that sounded a lot like the instrumentals to Damage Incorporated by Metallica. And then I thought I’d rather just listen to Damage Incorporated. But I stayed for the conversation :) I can’t really put my finger on why I haven’t been able to get into Avenged Sevenfold.
Well thanks for staying!!! Vin said ur right it did sound like damage incorporated...I would know...yet;) -Sori✌🏻
My pleasure, looking forward to y’all digging into the greatness that is old school Metallica. :)
For me, The singers voice sounds like it's coming out his nose.
The vocals are part of it. I also think they are fairly dirivitive, I haven’t listened to them on a deep dive. But songs I’ve heard I end up hearing familiarities that seem more like shop lifting from other bands. Where I tend to gravitate to bands that push boundaries or have a sound that is uniquely theirs.
I suggest you songs like Unholy Confessions, Bat Country, A Little Piece of Heaven, Afterlife, Almost Easy, Dear God, Critical Acclaim, Nightmare, Welcome to the Family, Danger Line, Buried Alive... they're pretty original songs of them I think ;)
23:06 so I'm paused right here cuz i gotta go to work soon but here's the gist of what you need to know about this song. It's meant to be a metaphor for the Big Bang. The spacey 2 minute intro is the time before time, the explosive sweeping solos is the explosion, the breakdown with qaudruplets after the solos is the cosmos forming, the clean guitar is the earth itself forming, the vocals coming in after the guitar represent us as a species coming to fruition on the planet, the build up before the riffs that are in the background of the speech is meant to be our struggles and conflict (you can hear the tensions of the notes) and neil degrasse tyson speaking is meant to be both a warning from the future and our introspective look at our species to try and right the path that we are on.
Alright I'm off and I'm paused around the 43:30 mark. Listeing to your opinions, i think you may be looking a little too literally at the writing. Avenged is RARELY direct in their writing. Lyrically the true meanings tend to be hidden within the diction and normally there's more and more layers the deeper you look as opposed to surface level literal work. Good review of the song, just keep in mind that all the guys in Avenged are phenomenal writers and everything they do musically and lyrically is intentional.
Good call! It’s crazy you listened to that much bro!
First I just wanna say I love your content! I love hearing your thoughts on songs coming from your religious perspective.
As an Atheist, I don't think Atheism leads to a problematic world view anymore than any other religion. There will always be problematic people within any view of the world. You can see evil in religion and you can see evil without it. To say that Atheism leads to a dangerous thought process is a bit short sighted. I could just as easily say that religion can lead to a dangerous thought process due to extremists out there, but I wouldn't do that. There are mostly good people in both camps, believers and non-believers. And yes I can still appreciate art, I don't know why any godless person couldn't. I also love life and don't need a god to love it. No despair here!
Just my two cents! Love your content keep it up! If we can't share ideas with open minds we are surely doomed.
You get it big guy!! I’m very excited for the podcast, and I think we’ll probably do a series of us all dialoging with each other ! !!
Well of course there are some religious extremists but blaming religion for their actions is not a proper thing in my opinion, especially when we talk about christianity where Christs says himself that killing people is absolutely wrong because we are all children of God who loves us etc. It's a moral codex that is based on love and forgiving. Science describes precisely all these things that religion does not (like when and how some things happened) but doesn't say what should be done and why.
In my opinion, atheism and agnosticism are also a concepts of god, so I don't think Neil/A7X were trying to blame religions and putting atheists/agnostics as the ones that do no harm.
For me, as agnostic and living in a catholic family and country, makes me enjoy watching you guys, it is really interesting listening to all sides. For me believes is not about who is right or wrong, it is about viewing life from different angles, so it is always constructive discussing about these topics.
Good call Hugo!
You two are nailing the point of this song...awesome interpretation!
Very intelligent...yes, the 20 century was nuts, but was also a huge learning curve for us.
35:10
You get that feeling or thought when you learn that energy cannot be created nor destroyed. Which means every atom in your body came from an exploding star. So you no longer feel as being separate from the universe, but that the universe is a part of you, technically making you and everything you see in the sky at night, the same thing.
If I had a nickel for every time an Avenged song made me reference a Jordan Peterson idea. You guys remind me of the way my buddy and I talk to each other. From a guy who doesn't share your world-view: Just found you guys today and I really enjoy your insights. I like the way your minds work.
Their greatest song to date! Rarely do bands put insane stuff out like this when they are that huge. Loving this channel they don't do the usual boring stuff
this is my excuse to listen to my favorite song ever
Lol same
If you look at the chorus again, you'll see this follows the part that you thought was in regards to life after death:
Sailing away, beyond the reach of anyone
Far beyond the dreams of everyone
High from the heavens
I can't see the pain
Does anybody care?
"High from the heavens" = cosmic perspective. He's looking at earth from space (sailing away beyond the reach of everyone). What he sees is just the earth and not the pain and suffering on it. Just one planet that does have all of us on it but we here on earth can't see that we're all cute little Earthlings on the same planet in an incredibly vast universe ("Does anybody care?"--care about this perspective). The first portion of the chorus is about that journey into space. Does anybody know? could very well be asking if anyone knows what it's like to be journeying out beyond our familiar confines of earth and our common humanity into the virtually unexplored space.
React to Avenged Sevenfold M.I.A
Nameless Earth yes please
Nameless Earth YES, YES
all of the yes
YES
I recommend reacting to Atreyu and Bleeding Through. The band members in Avenged 7X, Atreyu, and Bleeding Through went to the same high school in Huntington Beach, Cali and have collaborated with each other.
M.Shadows and Synyster Gates of A7X were featured on Bleeding Through's "Savior, Saint, Salvation" (a song you guys should react to, cause it's really good). I also recommend Atreyu's "Her Portrait In Black".
Cole Jordan I second that request for Atreyu! Anything off Lead Sails and Paper Anchors or the song The Crimson personally!
I didn't know they went to the same high school lol man, small world!
I learned that in Revolver Magazine's A7X issue (when "Nightmare" came out). Anyway, Bleeding Through's new material is sounding KILLLLLLEEEERRRRRR!!!!!
This song is literally the best metal song in history in my opinion. So melodic in many chilling ways. Perfectly mood tingling solos. And the message behind it makes this so dam perfect :D
Yes 1hour of content thanks guys. And how much more we have to wait for more opeth???
Lol hopefully not to long....I’m wanting more too!! -Sori🤟🏻
I think the first line of the vocal section is about space exploration, because of the star we learn to fly to the sky and find the answer. That's why it said " Sailing away, beyond the reach of anyone
.Far beyond the dreams of everyone
.No light to follow
A shot in the dark" Its talking about shooting rocket into the darkness of space only. Heaven here represent space here (This is how scientist in the old day e.g. Newton describe space in general).
This song is written BEAUTIFULLY. It is a masterpiece which is hard to fully comprehend. It takes on the journey of not just life but literally everything. It shows all events and all emotions and everything is represented in some way in this song. This song is literally everything
I love Avenged Sevenfold AND Opeth! This is a great song, and A7X has a shit ton of awesome songs, as do Opeth and many other bands. You guys rock ✌🏻
You are correct on floating in outerspace. In an interview M. Shadows says Exist represents all the stages in the Big Bang theory.
Copied from Genius:
0:00 - 1:31 (Preceding the big bang “15 billion years ago” there was the singularity, little known and very speculated, where all the matter and energy that exists today, were confined in a single infinitely hot point, which logically had no space, and no time).
1:31 - 2:19 (The big bang followed instantly with the expansion of the universe. From the second initial of the expansion “appearance of space, time and energy”, passing through the Planckian periods; Separation of gravity; Separation of the 4 fundamental forces of the universe; Creation of quarks; Of protons, neutrons and electrons; And the formation of the first chemical elements, Hydrogen and Helium; 800,000 years passed).
2:19 - 2:51 (High-density clouds with Hydrogen, Helium and perhaps other elements, were gravitationally agglomerating and attracting, was the appearance of the first galaxies).
2:51 - 3:14 (With the emergence of galaxies and their different dispositions, the stars, which progressively appear and collapse in events known as the supernova, for example, creating other chemical elements such as Carbon and Iron.)
3:14 - 3:35 (From the ashes of some stellar explosion came the “our” Sun …)
3:35 - 4:19 (…From the remaining materials of the sun’s appearance, the solar system was formed, with its comets, asteroids, and planets…)
4:19 - 5:18 (Among these planets, 4.5 billion years ago, the Earth appeared. That before the “present” constitution, it passed through many phases, among them, the great asteroid bombardments that came from the material that remained of the solar system, for example, and that directly or indirectly gave rise to the rocks and the first forms of relief.)
5:18 - 6:55 (About 2.5 billion years ago, the first forms of life appeared, which despite having experienced great periods of mass extinction “when the guitar stops” some have evolved until they reach …)
6:55 (…1.6 million years ago, the emergence of the human being).
Even though I'm an atheist I would like to say that I do believe that "People kill and get killed in the name of someone else’s concept of God" is not against religion itself. It is the fact that people kill because a dictator or any other person with power uses religion to kill.
You are correct Vin, the song is structured as the universe. Only space and time in the big bang, hence only music in the begging. The lyrics start as symbolism of the begging of human thought.
I from México, and i love your videos xd
The first video that i saw, at the beginning when Sori said her name, i thought “why did she said *im sorry*?” 😹
Hahahhh sooo many ppl have thought that!!! -Sori✌🏻
One hour reaction video to this song is what it deserved
Ayee, I just want to tell you how much I appreciate you guys. If you couldn't tell by my profile picture, I am a huge avenged fan. Love you guys and keep doin' what your doing. :)
EDIT: This song is a musical representation of the big bang as stated by the singer, Matt Shadows
And a huge avengers fan, what more could I ask for? Haha
When ever I need to settle down and just think I put this song on. Of course with headphones and you can just think about different scenarios while listening to it. It’s completely and utterly amazing
Nicee!! Avenged Sevenfold strength of the world
Avenged sevenfold a little piece of heaven. That will blow your mind, believe me. Its a great song.. and video too
Giggity Giggity. Thank you for taking the time. You guys are awsome!
Enjoy!!! 🤟🏻-Sori🤟🏻
The meaning I find behind the lyrics is... no one knows I reason for existing and no one cares to find out. People simply care about egotistical values such as appearance and status. Instead of conflicts and war we should be focused on finding out purpose for existence.
Great work good point !!
Gates are and Vengeance are awesome together Avenged sevenfold rule
"This is like 80's Metallica" exactly my thoughts when I heard that part for the first time!
Yayyyyyyyy at last. I have been waiting so long since the last A7X song. Thanks for doing Exist. Love it
You should check out some Isis. They were around way before dumb terrorists took the name... :0/ anyway, they are very good. a good album to start with would be Oceanic (their first album from 2002) or In the Absence of Truth (a few years later in '06) Definitely worth a listen!
I've sent this video to one of the band members, hopefully he'll watch it. You guys did a great job. 👌
at 35:30 you are talking about something I have always wanted to bring back...the idea of the Open Forum where people of all walks of life discuss, openly and respectfully, all topics that man faces. Very cool of you guys to come to the same conclusion! As someone who was raised catholic, fell out of religion, and now years later consider myself on many levels spiritual, but still generally agnostic/athiest. Forever open minded, but driven by evidence, and a humanistic point of view in that, we shouldn't need such things as Gods when we can find the power and beauty in the majesty of the Universe and Nature as en ever flowing system of life, awareness and intention. We are the universe, recognizing itself.
but yeah so, I would enjoy that sort of podcast very much! Great idea!
Brilliant song, brilliant reaction. I can't help but to think that the singing part and especially the part directly right after that was written somewhat with The Rev in mind. The words if you look at it and think about it probably has a lot to do with the way he lived and died. Then the kickass drumming after that. The Rev is smiling listening to that. Man, those drums were off the chart crazy good. Plus I think the thinking on the front part and last part of the song encased his memory of humanity and the fragility of it. All in all you guys, the best reaction yet, by far. Be cool and keep up the great work. Love you guys. FTR, I'm not an athiest.
You two are really great and I enjoy your content. I also appreciate how much you dive into the meaning of the songs you listen to. Vin definitely has a lot of knowledge on philosophy and physics from what I got from this vid . What makes you different from other channels is you spend a lot of time discussing the songs and their meaning and I appreciate that. Thank you.:)
Thank you so much for taking the time to listen to our show for so long! I really appreciate that so much !
As far as I am concerned I think you should feel free to thank your patreon subscribers, after all they are making it easier for you guys to do what you do which benefits all the rest of us who are watching for free
Hey guys, very good video. I really enjoy this, I love that they go beyond the basic reactions and that they discuss the structure of the song, the lyrics, the music, what it means and what it makes them feel.
Avenged Sevenfold is my favorite band and that someone can enjoy their songs that way makes my skin crawl.
Keep making such good videos.
Greetings from Mexico. 😎🤘🤘🤘
Personally, I feel the moment we stop trying to label Sevenfold in the oceanic expanse of genre, the better the world will sleep. However, I haven't slept better since I stopped so my personal perspectives and expositions are likely wrong.
Sori in the first like 5 minutes of the song had me rolling LOL. I could tell she loved it. Great song, I'm glad A7X decided to try and experiment in more prog stuff
I took the chorus as perspective from somebody that passed and is wondering if anybody on Earth recognized that they’re gone (thinks about them, misses them, etc.) initially. Doesn’t really go with the entire theme of the universe/existence but was wondering if they threw it in from the Rev’s perspective. I think you are spot on though- it probably has to do with people being so self-absorbed that they can’t see beyond what happens next. Awesome review!!
This is probably one of their top 5 greatest songs.
People always talking about being insignificant but I think of it this way. Significance is a human concept. The universe doesn't care either about two stars colliding nor some person achieving something. We define what is significant to us and nobody else. Therefore do something that makes you or other people happy and it will have positive significance, because that is really all we need.
This is my favourite song right now. Super glad you guys did this and enjoyed it.
You definitely need to do more Ghost songs. Thanks for the great content!
You guys are awesome. In-depth discussions on the bands/songs that I happen to love - you guys are taking up all my free time.
Please do Avenged Sevenfold - "Roman Sky", Live at the Grammy museum!
Warmless on the soul
Its a soft and awesome song with so much feels
I'm really impressed with how your video quality has improved in such a short time. You guys are doing a great job. Exist is a great song and I really dig the selections you've made so far. Keep up the excellent work!
With choreography I believe Neil means the great attraction. The great attraction is earth spinning (dancing) around the sun and our whole solar system is spinning (dancing) around the center of the Milky Way. And even Milky Ways are being attracted (I believe). And earth, the sun, solar systems, milky ways are all spinning around there own center. In short a dance in a dance in a dance. All thanks to gravity (and dark Matter).
This is just a hypothesis.
That’s probably what he meant
Awesome! I love this song, even though it's long it's still amazing
Justdat799 I think it's amazing just because it's so long :D

Roman Sky by Avenged Sevenfold should be the next song. It’s quite beautiful, sad, and moving.
Guys, I am so happy you made such a long video with such a long discussion. You respect other people's point of view, you open your minds and try to get what an artist wants to say. That's awesome! Didn't expect you to talk about history and philosophy like that. You're my favourite reaction channel I guess :) oh btw Save me by A7X is a song you rated 10 as well ;)
Truuuuuuu
Your reactions are awesome. I've never seen any reactor do this one but I'm going to suggest I Am by Theocracy. I have a feeling you guys are going to like it.
Noted!! And thanks for the compliment!!! -Sori🤟🏻
That's a good one!
I know I'm late (first video I see of you guys) but fantastic review, I love how you guys don't just talk about the music but all things it makes you think about. It's not a review but a reflection of your interpretation of the song. Really beautiful, thanks guys!
The mental gymnastics it takes to match the Bible to science is so funny to watch unfold! Haha! But yes, the feeling of the song is absolutely like floating through space. If I was Sandra Bullock in Gravity, I would’ve just put this song on repeat! 😂
Lol righhhhhtttttt..... like Isaac Newton! Totally unscientific mind for sure! Lol
VinAnd Sori - How exactly did Newton prove that Adam and Eve were the first humans and talked to a snake? Did he prove a great universal flood happened and discovered fossil evidence of Kangaroos journeying from Africa to Australia?
Newton was a brilliant scientific minded man living in the18th century. There are many brilliant scientific minds who are Christian today. It doesn’t negate the fact they have a huge blind spot when it comes to matters of their faith. They compartmentalize it. It’s easy to disregard the Mormons, Muslims, or any other religion when your brain is tuned to the conviction of your own reality being the truest form. Neuroscience explains a lot about the powers of cognitive dissonance and confirmation bias. Newton was obviously not immuned.
With all respect, I think you are missing a point a bit. The Bible was never meant to be a scientifical book. It consists of some literar genres but treatise is definitely not one of them, even though there are some historical mentions. There are some tales in the Bible that were definitely inspired by other beliefs when it comes to story. It's all mainly about meaning and who God is and what is the meaning of life and what a man should and should not do. It doesn't explain how biology or mechanics works. It works like that: there are some things that we can't reach to and that's why God reveals them while there are also some things that may be achieved by man with his knowleadge (like practical inventions for everyday life). I watched Gravity, it was pretty interesting, symbolic movie :)
Michał Mańkowski - with all due respect, atheists aren’t the ones who treat the Bible like a science book. Christians are. The Bible doesn’t bring anything of worth to what man should and shouldn’t do. The rules are mostly arbitrary nonsense stemming from Iron Age thinking. It doesn’t describe who god is at all... other than a homicidal maniac...
Nice an enjoyable hour of vin and sori🤘
Great reaction and discussion as usual! When sori said "she's beautiful", Vin could've said, "like her mom." :p anyway nice that 10s were finally given out. You'll do that a lot when doing the lateralus project too I think :p
that was pretty trippy. after you cut during the spoken word near the end the song was echoing and freakin me out . lol7\10 :p also react to EPICA-The Phantom Agony
This song is true now more than ever. We are on the brink of losing everything to war, Earth dying from our treatment of her not to mention no one agreeing on anything and yes even being lost in technologies themselves
We did! You were the only one that didn't, Vin! And when, pray tell, will you hit her with Master of Puppets? And when will you check out Nevermore- This Godless Endeavor? Two masterworks in Metal.
Ya Vin!!! Wheeennnnnnn?!?!? ❤️❤️❤️-Sori🤟🏻
Ok. If you have to do 'Endeavor' to listen and not 'Sentient 6' then may it be so.
As long as you do Nevermore ;)
Warrell was a one of a kind voice. So unique and grandiose!
Jonathan Melton Sentient 6 is a good song. But it's too... I don't know. It's not the song you introduce them with. Whereas, anyone can recognize the greatness of This Godless Endeavor. I suspect Vin won't like it because of Warrel Dane's voice. And so will trash the song because of the one thing he doesn't like. He's very black and white in that sense.
Lol not true!! I gave meshuggah a high rating even though it didn’t care for the voice... 🧐🧐”godless endeavor” is next though
I NEED TO TURN ON MY NOTIFICATIONS
Hahha y is that? -Sori🤟🏻
Because I was having a bad day and I was waiting for you to upload and I didn't even realized you already had hahaha! AND AN HOUR LONG VIDEO YES!!! 💕
Fermi Paradox is another badass song, actually every song off this album is their best to date. They grew a ton as musicians and artists when they didn't have to yet they exceeded anything I thought they were capable of doing.
For the longest time the only songs I listened to were their popular ones..Blinded In Chains, Seize thr Day, Bat Country, Almost Easy, Afterlife, etc. took me years to listen to their whole albums. Can’t believe I’ve missed out on so much. I didn’t listen to MIA until last week
