- The high altitude sledding in Okinawa, deep in the tropical south of Japan, is probably the snowmobile world’s best kept secret. Let’s keep it that way. Please do not share this video.
The sights and sounds in this video = pure riding joy!
Might have to try that left turn thing
I would work up to it carefully. Maybe try a quick glance left before getting out of bed.
This place look amazing. A snowmobiler dream: tons of snow , big terrain, nice tree spacing and the giant pool to relaxe after a long day turning left. I m happy you brought us along we saved a 20 h flight and a 25h drive. One day, I want a taste of that snow.
Okinawa snow has the best taste!
Definitely wanna come ride here someday! The terrain looks amazing!!
I love watching your vids. I never even knew that snowmobiling was a thing in Japan before I found your channel. I ride sleds in Maine, USA but there has not been much snow here in the last few winters ☹️
Great videos! just found out about your channel and am currently binge watching! keep it up!
Very sorry to hear that. Hope you feel better soon.
Be carefull so you don't juse all left turns. It can be hard to sell a sled whith only right turns left.
Dayum! Hadn’t thought of that. Maybe I can buy some aftermarket lefties.
I'm so glad i found your channel. Very much subbed. I just bought a 2014 M8000 on Monday. My first sled. Very excited! keep up the vids. I love em!
Good one. My first mountain sled was a 2017 M8. Don’t ride it so much now but had a night in the pow recently and it reminded me what a good solid machine the M8s are. Syxxes is the channel for you-often features your sled.
Dude your narrating is hilarious.😂😂 Awesome videos
Thanks. I ran everything by the Okinawa Zenbu Uso Tourism Dept. first to make sure I was delivering only the truest true facts.
Amazing video again. You my friend, migh just be creating the best sled content in youtube, like ever. Head to head with muskoka.
Wow-if this is also how you talk to women you must have a busy bed. Muskoka is a true legend though, ain’t he? Writing this from a hotel room with sled on truck outside…not Okinawa this time, but close.
@@AkatarawaJapan I usually compliment girls on their sledding also. Not so much by their youtube content. That's how I got my wife to stay with me all these years :D
Left turns only, seems to work for NASCAR...but wow what a great adventure, well captured as always
Beautiful snow, awesome riding, and a great video. I’m glad I found another one. I’m gonna keep looking!
Cheers, Bill. Always enjoy watching your Alaska rides. This was the best day of the season, in a season where every day was the best day.
ur funny bro, instant subscribe for that
Great video! I really liked your narration! Keep up the good work!
Wow that is some epic terrain! Great vid bud, keep up the good work.
I feel like this whole video went over my apparatus. If you ever end up out here in Montana I'll make sure to take you to Glendive, great high altitude deep snow out there too. Cooke City is for tourists.
Montana…so I fly to New York and turn left?
Man, I lived in Okinawa for 8 years and never knew of this place! Unlucky =(
It's hard to find. Almost no Okinawans have been there. Crazy!
@@AkatarawaJapan 😆
приветствую, подскажите а у вас там б/у снегоходы продают? где можно посмотреть объявления?
That looks awesome AJ !!
The Okinawa lifestyle.
Looks Great !
I’m assuming he is kidding about the drive guys. he is pretty sarcastic. It’s only 3 hours from one end of the island to another.
Takes much longer if you only turn left.
Looks fun!
Something is telling me he’s not in Okinawa... hmm
😁
Just miiight be a different island. Directions on how to get there were spot on though.
@@JasonDavis542 I do my best to be helpful.
It's definately not in Okinawa, I know Japan like the back of my hand and I know where it snows and where it does not really snow, this for sure, 100%, is not in Okinawa
Sorry but I dont believe this is in Okinawa, this is taken somewhere else in Japan, further north
Strictly speaking I guess it is slightly further north of south.
So today was third day out on my alpha one. Few questions regarding riding I can’t figure out if it’s me or just the alpha being the alpha lol. So when on less aggressive side hills I can ride my dads 2011 ski doo and a side hill neutral on like 30 degree angle and on my alpha i have to be hanging off the side of my alpha cause it just wants to roll down hill. And you have to be on the gas because soon as the ski dips too much in it pulls you down. What are you supposed to do in situations where you have to on the side hills but can’t opposite foot forward. Also turning flat it wants to roll opposite of where Turning and Mean a lot. It this a cat thing or alpha thing my dad 2011 doo seems easier to ride then 2019 alpha. Im by no means a great rider but wow I feel my riding is being hampered by this sled. This thing is lots of people say there like riding any other sled with less effort. Thoughts?
Keep riding! Don't know what 2011 Doo it is but Doos generally ride very differently to Cats and Poos. You'll be fine once you get used to it and should be able to ride neutral all over the place.
@@AkatarawaJapan it was a 2011 summit x 163. Did your other arctic cat want to roll at all when turning on flat ground and no powder?
@@Brobro449 They’re mountain sleds, at home in trees and pow and the steeps. Not designed to rail corners on hard flat snow.
@@AkatarawaJapan I meant just like even going slow
You are bonkers.
You’d have to be mad to call me bonkers.
I am now mad for snowmobiling in Okinawa. Can't wait to get down there with my Cat on the back of my Kei truck.
