Thank you for the daily uploads! The degree of difficulty is 1-2. Difficult to hear words are #5 our store, #10 impatient, #18 told us Couldn’t translate are #14 be torn down
Thank you for providing me the new sentences. I'm really appreciate to have an opportunity of working with you. This expression is so polite, right? By the way, tonight I watched some movie on Netflix. Although I'm unsure of the title, in the movie I came across the expression which is "It's honour to meet you." What I've often heard the first greeting for someone is "(It's) Nice to meet you." When we greet to some we meet, there's the expression, isn't it? Oh, the movie I watched had Sylvester Stallone! See you tomorrow.
Thank you for watching! The expression "It's an honour to meet you." is one that we frequently use at my workplace. When I was a student, I learned that English doesn’t have "敬語" but when executives visit our workplace for inspections, we use phrases like this. Colleagues who usually use rough language suddenly start speaking in polite English.
"It's an honor to meet you," this is a formal and respectful way to greet someone, often used when meeting someone of high status or someone you greatly admire. In contrast, "Nice to meet you" is a more common and neutral greeting used in everyday situations. I think I have yet to use the expression ""It's an honor to meet you." to anyone.
