Since the Nate Robinson fight, almost everyone has been clowning Jake saying he would never beat any of his opponents. He wasn’t supposed to knock out Nate Robinson in R2. He wasn’t supposed to kill Ben Askren in 30 s. When he beat Tyron Woodley everyone said it was a fluke, myself included. Although there are still a massive amount of people hating Jake for what he says, he has definitely proven alot of fans wrong on multiple occasions now. It’s fair to say Jake has a very decent amount of potential in boxing so long as his opponents become progressively more difficult every single time

The thing no-one acknowledges is that Jake Paul's accomplishments are seriously impressive for someone who ENTERED THE GAME IN THEIR 20s (READ my whole comment)- to be in this game you are supposed to have entered as a child to get that development in, and even if you enter as a late-teenager you need outrageous talent to catch up and be competitive- and even insane athletes like Wilder and Joshua you can see their stunted technical development compared to guys who started early.
Now: Having said that.... HE ENTERED THE GAME IN HIS 20s.. That's like trying to become a footballer or basketball player picking up a basketball at 22- I think he's shown enough to say he has a special talent, but he's already eaten through most of it by starting too late. That is the biggest factor we're talking about here.
I train 16 year old amateurs with less than 120 fights that can dispatch Paul inside 2-3 rounds...Casual fans dont understand what it means to be a world champion in boxing...Any guy in Paul's division ranked inside the top 20 would probably beat him inside 1 round...
