The Fall of Wyverndale

In this video I read the two part short story about Lord Ramiel and The Fall of Wyverndale. I add a few edits of my own to provide some context and some foreground info.
This video would have been longer because I wanted to break down everything about this story and what's good and bad about it....but I'll save that for my follow up video, because I know there are some folks out there who only want to hear the lore and aren't interested in my personal take. So this video is JUST the lore...next video is the critique and comparison to Ruth.

I love how they expanded the original of the order of the wardens and how everything was so fantasy before the cataclysm with these giants and wyverns,if for honor was series instead of a game I would imagine how good it would be.

The parts that I believe to be true is the events leading up to the rumblings and the army of black knights. (The giants I believe to be the the cataclysm) the parts that are made up parts is the introduction of the wulin, samurai and vikings. That part was lies created by faction leaders to inspire and create unity between the factions. (The truce of Wyverndale)

That’s what I believe too. In my opinion it doesn’t make much sense for all 4 factions to be united during that time period, especially the Wu Lin

I personally like this more than Ruth but I love fantasy so I am very much biased

Well, that was an interesting story. Gonna assume the whole thing with the 4 factions were something added during the current time period of For Honor. Though, the fantastical portions of the story is a bit off putting for some reason.
Update: So...there's a part 3 to the story. Are you going to do a video talking about that one as well?

That makes me wonder, after looking through all of your videos on writing tips and such. How would you fix the lore and story of the first Warden if possible?

I think Ramiel has a decent story, but in my opinion I think Ruth has a better one. No disrespect to the person or people who wrote Ramiel's story.

Okay new (was there for a bit when it first release, just coming back after years) to For Honor, and I'm currently studying it's lore. Here's my thoughts on the story: the part with the giant is, a bit odd, so to say. But I'll excuse it by logicing it as just some tall dude, gigantism is a real life condition after all. And I'd love it if we get more scenes from the dragons, I mean seriously, dragon is cool! Everybody loves dragon.

It doesn't make sense that the samurai and wu lin were part of the fall of wyverndale. They only came after the cataclysm, or did they retconned something again?

you’re entirely right. Some theorize that the whole unity thing was brought in later on in the universe to inspire more warriors
