It's definitely getting crazy on the load board. 1 agent had a load for $1300 said that was all in on 518 miles. Another agent had the same exact load going to the same place for $1600. It's ridiculous out here fr
I remember I called Bennett, probably 2 months before you jumped on with them, the recruiter was hyping it up big time, our drivers are averaging 3.75 a mile BS BS. Meanwhile the loads they pawn off on the DAT board is hardly 2.25 a mile unless it’s crazy multi stop loads. No matter what the market is down!
Cool military loads bro! Hope theyre paying u more money. Sick seeing inside the classic at night, nice red lights inside. Cool visor lights. Sucks about the low rates bro, glad u refused it. Itll get better when interest rates come down in 2024 before the fall election. If im bored out of town I find distance walking very enjoyable. Bar is fine tho lol.
@@KingAries85I think a 12% is the most any carrier should get if youre putting truck and trailer bc yes they do their part and I understand it completely but we're putting the main risk on the road, if the truck breaks down, it's up to us to fix it there or pay the tow truck which is thousands of dollars on top of maintenance. I just don't understand how ppl are willing to take 65% , I applied for Bennett and got rejected bc my experience in flatbed was back in 2016 and then applied and was eligible with a company out of Iowa but decided not to bc they didn't let me dispatch myself which that told me they would book loads 2 to 300 miles to pick up which would hurt the bottom line haul on top of them Taki 35%. At that point I thought there's no way their runs are paying that good to take 65%,thank god I thought twice and didn't sign with them.
@@KingAries85at that. Point of not Beign able to have control of your business and having them force dispatch you is basically Beign a company driver without the freedom and taking all the risk. Fk that
That’s normal for Deere anymore my RGN rates were only $3 a mile, they’re trying to get rid of all there contract loads. Bennett has contracted rates through Deere. It’s been stupid bad for the last 9 months
buy yourself a load restraint manual..................save yourself some grief....watch supertrucker dan he never gets done dude...........................................
I do believe you need a strap or two on that stack of three boxes, what do you think? Id like to be able to encourage you to hang in there and things will get better but I cant. You need to check into getting into a straight job, 3 axle dump and work local. My friend down in Vero Beach just took the sleeper off his W9 and is going up to Ga to have a lift axle put on and a new dump body and hes already lined up a haul locally for a construction company thats going to sign a month to month guaranteed contract for agreed to compensation and all the hours he wants to run(and legal). Bill ( Try to cheer up)

Most brokers are crooks. They are the ones putting us out of business. Just say no to cheap freight
When the only thing at Bennett is cheap freight you have no choice most of the time

You better be glad you didn't get stopped at a Scale with 1 Strap over those 4 crates in the back. You need to have 2 on front and back
Ft lost in the woods, that’s what us Army guys call it. lol

Best way to gett more is to get your own trailer, only getting 65% before any expenses is crazy, still dont understand why they need to take 35%
I want 100% of it all but I’m only gonna drive it you do the rest 😂

What happened to heavy hauling
I used to haul out of john deere in East moline with my hotshot and always got 3.50/mi

jeez dude, you need three straps on the front and back crates, if transport stops you, its a fine or violation or both................................
I beg to differ , depends on the size of the load wether he uses two straps or three .
read the manual@@ChristianCairo-nb8eq
