8:49 what kind of train car is that with all the LED lighting on it and where do I get it and who made it. To bad that the Steelers box cara are not O or OH scale The Trump train is sweet
That was a fine show review video! VERY enjoyable and it looks like a great show! Hey, I've got one of those pre-war Lionel 259e tinplate sets that Lew was selling! I got it at one of our local shows here in Virginia august of last year. I'm not into pre-war's at all but that set was so cute and cartoony-looking I just had to take it home. And it's a gas watching it on a table-top Christmas layout! Thanks for bringing us along!
Thanks for the compliments! I really liked that Pre-war set Lenny Had, I contemplated buying it to be honest. I don't own anything like that, maybe he still has it next show we will see. thanks again! - Nick
@@PghTrainFanatic You know what Nick? Every time I walked by that 259e set I swear it said "Please take me home with you!" So I did! What are you gonna do? 🤩
Excellent video. We used to bring our Lionel modular layout to the shows for about three or four years in the early-mid-nineties. It was always a fun time. It would be nice to do it these days, but while the club still exists. those of us who did this show have moved on to other areas of the hobby. We all still run and collect, but careers and family got in the way of travelling to this and other shows. I'm in the middle of starting my new layout and your building flats look very cool. Probably sometime early next spring I'll be looking into buying some that will fit my post-war theme. Once again, great video.
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed the video! I think it would be enjoyable to setup a layout at shows and see people's reactions! Good luck with your new layout and feel free to email me about building flats! - Nick
@@PghTrainFanatic I'll do that. I have some NS stuff for Jason Stuckert and he is going to stop by to pick them up. I'm going to pick his brain about the new layout, because it is way bigger than anything I've ever built where I live. That should give me some ideas about scenery and what I'll need further on down the line.
Beautiful trains. I’ve been interested in model trains for a long time. Now I’m in my 50’s. I have a question. Which train set or individual trains would you recommend for a beginner? Specifically HO or O gauge. I just ordered The Hogwarts Express to go around the Christmas tree. It’s my very first set.
Look at ALL those trains!
We're all COO COO for CHOO CHOO's LOL
Too many trains to choose from! Thank you for sharing!
Greenberg's looks to be just as good by you as it is by me! Your set up was perfect too!
