The Packraft drives really well. I was allowed to test it out this summer and drove some wild rivers with it. Price-performance ratio is great here. Many greetings ronactive
Did you travel from war falls to carp lake? Do you think it would be possible to travel upstream from carp lake to war falls in a freighter canoe with a short leg outboard? Heading there next weekend for the first time.
Very helpful, thanks! Just repeating my question from your review video: are drysuits or waterproof pants needed for this self bailer to avoid a "wet bum" while paddling on a lake like this one?
Glad you enjoyed the video. The answer to your question depends on how heavy you are and how rough the lake is. For myself (at 165 lbs) by backside would stay dry on a calm lake. As you can see in the video there is no pooling of water. But you could always put a strip of duct tape over the self-bailing holes for lake paddling if you wanted. If you decide to get a ROBfin, let me know, as I can get you a deal.
@@HinterlandOutdoors Thanks for your helpful advice also with the duct tape. I about the same height and weight as you, so that is great news. Thanks also for the offer; would that also work for Europe? I live about 2h from their HQ, which helps with usual shipping cost and time.
Please give the video a THUMBS UP to support our channel!
Super video - Thanks for sharing the amazing trip!
Glad you enjoyed it. Have 3 more coming that will be even better :).

Yeah I really like it. I think it’s probably the best value in a whitewater packraft.

how is the weight of the Robfin for backpacking?
Around 6.5 kg/14.3 lbs., since they went for the tougher, but for a packraft rather heavier PVC.
