@@Yadeehoo That's just how master classes are. Usually the student brings a piece that they're working on, that the teacher doesn't necessarily know. The teacher then gives tips on technique and musicality. In this case though, I'm pretty sure he know how to play it, but just hasn't practiced it in a while.
geez, this 'incompetent' guy created the BEST EVER recording of Chopin's revolutionary etude, not to mention he was given a 3rd prize at the International Chopin Piano Competition in Warsaw -- what would be good enough for you, Chopin resuscitated? Cm'on ... 😃😃😃

Needless to say he can play this piece perfectly. He was the second runner up at 1990 Chopin competition. Yes, he makes some wrong notes here when he shows various ways( good and bad) to play the phrases with exaggerated motions for the student to understand easily. He just focused on showing his hand movements.This is not his concert but lecture.
Please put the English subtitles to let the people understand what he says.

@@紅茶-w3f そこですよ❗そうなんです。客員なんです。たしか、上野学園大学にも、教えに行かれているのでは？興味ないので良くわかりませんが。。。とにかく芸大の先生いわく、自分もオケで忙しくて、尚且つ学生なんてめんどくさくてまともに教えてられないわよ‼️１日何時間あっても足りない‼️疲れた疲れた❕とボヤいてましたよ。ピアノ科の先生方も同じくでしたね‼️何度か声楽の伴奏で行きましたが、本当に教えてないですね。。。😢⤵️⤵️出来たら連絡してくれる？聞いてあげるからさ⁉️ですって。‼️笑うしかない。細かいパッセージなんて、自分でみてきなさい！弾けて当たり前でしょ‼️そんなことまで教えなきゃならないの⁉️あー➰ーーーーー‼️めんどくさい‼️とイラついてましたよ。。。😢⤵️⤵️先生方も大変なんですね😅
