      Doctors are so bad handling pcos it's crazy and down right abusive. It's effects 1 in 3 women of certain ethnic groups and 1 in 5 in US. PCOS is a hormonal issue not fertility issues, but many women with PCOS don't get diagnosed until in their 20/30s trying for a baby. Get on inositol and you get pregnant within 1-3months yet again doctors don't say anything, if it weren't for reddit pcos comments I would have been so hurt for no reason too 😢

    I got pregnant right away with PCOS. It's literally not a sentence for kids to never happen. Getting pregnant isn't the issue it's keeping the pregnancy because your body doesn't make progesterone like you should.

    • @shaunadohertymusic
      @shaunadohertymusic 26 дней назад

      You're partially right, but when you said, "Getting pregnant isn't the issue, it's keeping it" is slightly false. Women with PCOS can absolutely still get pregnant, but if you're not having periods/not ovulating, it is difficult to get pregnant with out help. Not impossible but getting pregnant can be the hard part and then also keeping it. Currently going through this with a fertility doctor it's really hard :(

    • @pinkroseyrose
      @pinkroseyrose Год назад

      eating a pcos diet (determine what foods are best for you and your case of PCOS) it is the worse part bc what worked for one won’t always helps the next but getting your pcos under control by figuring out how your body reacts to changes. stay away from the dr recommendations lol seriously sometimes they DO NOT know what’s best for you just best for “it” overall but pcos is sneaky. I didn’t do anything all were unplanned surprises but i do suggest getting in tune with your body. Track your symptoms and what you eat and drink also any meds. If you have any diabetic issues if they’re the type you can get rid it work on that and don’t take any birth control like it needs to be completely out of your system. No smoking, TRACK everything! like you should keep a journal and study yourself for a month. The next month work on your minor problems and then tackle harder ones. It’s nothing i did special outside of what I did to help balance my hormones which has taken a decade to do and still not all the way. Research. It’s a long run really i’m almost 40 and just now having normal ish periods. having children helped a little. i Don’t want to sound crazy or anything but if there was anything i did was trust God to provide what I prayed for and I got personal in my faith/spiritual journey.

And when i was 11 my period was three months late and than it lasted like two weeks and it was super heavy that i had to stay at hospital cuz it was just not normal and i was in huge pain, and than my gynecologist told me that it is hormonal imbalance, and i had to take this pills for a year, and they were regular and a bit lighter, but when i stopped taking this meds they were again really heavy and irregular, and last year my period was late for 5 months, and then i got it finally in January this year, but again it was supeer heavy it was not normal and it lasted 18 days, i again went to my gynecologist and this time i took a lot tests, and it was really scary to be honest, and then i got diagnosed with PCOS, and it just been really hard for me, and although I'm just a kid still and teen, I'm afraid that in future i will not be able to have kids, cuz my doctor said that it was possible and when she told me that my heart broke cuz i really love kids, i want to have them in like ten years, and i am just scared that i will not be able to 😭💔
