I love these vlogs James. You pick out some lovely courses that aren't that far away from me. I should really try and get over to play some of them. Keep up the good work.
A favourite course of mine and my 10 year old. He scored his first ever par on the 9th earlier this year. We were there on Tuesday and he ran to the top of the hill twice at the end of the round to play the 9th hole again. We enjoy watching your videos and getting an insight into the courses in North Wales (and beyond). Keep up the good work. Diolch, James!
We will keep an eye out for you! I was curious why you didn’t play the (other) last hole with the red flag and tee box in the trees. I assumed that was known as the 18th.
Thanks again James, a great part of the world which brings back many memories of childhood holidays. I'm trying to match your handicap now...just two shots behind and getting there! Always look forward to your RUclips postings.
I should be 13 by the end of the month if I can just string a few rounds together. Handicaps are weird in that the less you think about them the more they tend to come down! :)
I was wondering when/ if you were going to get a rangefinder. I look forward to watching your videos. I enjoy the calmness of the commentary and the beautiful scenery of the courses that you play. Plus I can relate to your game as I don't hit the ball 300 yards like most RUclips golfers seem to be doing. Keep them coming.
Like watching your videos. Your calm demeanor while playing and narrating soothes my soul. Advice: Those putts from the fringe, practice using a 7 iron, upright shaft, toe on the ground, ball slightly back in stance. Use your putting stroke. I have better results than using my putter.
I've used a range finder for a while. You'll also find it useful for checking cover distances, run out distances etc. Knowing that you need to take a slightly shorter club to avoid reaching trouble is a big score saver. Great video again.
Really good to see you uploading more course content James! Looked like a great day for golf and a nice little course too with some tricky par 3s - slopes, blind shots and long holes too! I have to say, for a little 9 hole par 3 course, the condition was brilliant! Greens looked great and the cutting around them and up to the green areas looked spot on too. Maybe just the tee areas let it down. Brilliant views from the higher holes too! Definitely one to play if I'm over that way. Have you played St Melyd just outside Prestatyn? That's a good 9 hole course too.
Great video and round James, especially the "double" birdie on the 18th 😂! Couldn't agree more that these type of courses are really valuable to practice the short game, we all love to try and hit the ball way down the centre of the fairway, but as we all know, it's inside 100 yards that makes the difference! Good to also see the comparisons between the watch and rangefinder, good information, thanks. Looking forward to the next one!
Nice one James! Our neck of the woods is a beautiful part of the world, and as always your content delivers - definitely one of the best and most enjoyable golf channels. Have a good one!
Excellent video James. Calm and collected, just how golf should be played. I too have never used a range finder. It would be nice to try one out. Also going to give LLanfairfechan a shot. Only 27 miles away. Keep up the good work, enlightening us mere mortals. 😀⛳😅
Great video for players who struggle on par 3's. If you play seriously this range finder as seen in this video is a must. Keep up the good work involved doing the video's
I've been using a range finder and a GPS watch for a while, both are great, but if I were only to use one, it would be the range finder unless it was a course I didn't know, and then I'd take the GPS. But for me it's both, always. Great stuff as always James. I'll add this course to my list.
Par 3 courses are great practice for the short game, the greens are usually quite small. My seven year old granddaughter has just started her golfing journey so they are perfect for her, great birdie to finish, nice video.
Range finder is amazing James. Much better than a watch, and I am never without mine now, and not worn my watch for ages. Being able to zap hazards and other things, really helps me with club choice in instances when I am not hitting at or to a flag. I also played courses with huge double greens and found a 92 front and 133 middle was of no use to actually getting close. Helps with the really short shots to know its 35 to the flag as well, as it helps me with half swings etc. NB - Slope is not allowed on any qualifying round or comp as far as I know. So you probably can't use it often with slop activated.
It doesn't matter where you play, the backgrounds are stunning. I need to visit Wales sometime. Great finish to the round. Just need a few more of those putts to drop, then you're in business.
Enjoying the content as ever James. I must say even without the range finder I'm impressed with your distance control into the greens and have been for a while now. I'm just coming back from knee surgery so haven't managed a game in the last 12 months but your video's keep me entertained and the thirst for golf going so thanks and keep up the good work 👏
Always a pleasure watching your videos. I played Nefyn after watching you play it. (Yes it was magical) Also, I am thinking of going back to a range finder for my own course(fleetwood). Good luck for the future..
Those were some really difficult slopes to contend with but the slope adjust range finder just helps you understand club selection a bit better. Well done 👍
Executive courses are great for practicing short game, looks like a fun track to play. Honor box is very cool, nice to see...We don't have those here in the states. Nice to see you enjoy yourself regardless of the occasional mishit. I need to take that approach more often, as i also have thee occasional oops. As always enjoyed watching the video James...Keep at it mate !

That's great it's a fun course especially the 9th. I'm looking forward to playing golf in the future with my own son :)
We will keep an eye out for you! I was curious why you didn’t play the (other) last hole with the red flag and tee box in the trees. I assumed that was known as the 18th.
Great day for golf ⛳️. Very enjoyable to watch
Love the fact your back in UK and loving your videos. The Cigman range finder looks great
Me too! :)
The ever present chuckle and post holing ball toss……great to see someone enjoying a round so much. Love your course vlogs James 👍🏼
Played this course for the first time today (just nine holes) Great fun and very tricky. Happy to squeak round in 10 over! 🙂
Thanks again James, a great part of the world which brings back many memories of childhood holidays. I'm trying to match your handicap now...just two shots behind and getting there! Always look forward to your RUclips postings.

That's why I love Par3(aka Executive) courses as you get to focus all areas of the bag. Great job!
Enjoyable video on a fun but challenging course. Well done James!

It's so nice to know what yardage the flag is with the slope...
Brilliant putter you are, excellent in feel and distance. Your general game is excellent, great progress made and youve a superb temperament.

Cheers Lee, the sweet spot for me is probably GPS off the tee and rangefinder for approach shots. Thanks for watching :)
Keep up the good work James, always enjoy your rounds
Always a joy to watch your videos James. Good honest golf, can’t go wrong with that!
Always enjoy your videos, great to see the courses of North Wales. Keep it up! Fingers crossed for the giveaway.

What a beautiful par 3 course! Wish we had some like that here in Northern Michigan! Great video James!

Great video and a lovely course. Well done James 👍
Enjoy watching your videos. Thanks for sharing your review of this range finder. Keep the videos coming!
Great idea for improving your short game. Keep the videos coming.
Hi James. Looks a great course to sharpen the short game. A rangefinder will also help identify how far one hits each club.
Proper honest golf, well done james👏
What a finish! Good job!
Great looking course, well played James!!
It doesn't matter where you play, the backgrounds are stunning. I need to visit Wales sometime.
Great finish to the round. Just need a few more of those putts to drop, then you're in business.

Another great video James and what a beautiful little course... congratulations on growing your channel to the point of being able to offer giveaways.
Beautiful course with great views. Everyone needs short game practice and this is a perfect place for that.
You have a good ability of giving yourself every chance of getting up and down for a par save. Certainly better than me.
Looks like a fun par 3 course. Enjoyable videos!
I've not used a range finder before myself. I definitely need to try one, there's times I feel it could really help my game
Always a pleasure watching your videos. I played Nefyn after watching you play it. (Yes it was magical)
Also, I am thinking of going back to a range finder for my own course(fleetwood).

Good round on a good course. I like the 5th green. I wish one of my local courses had a green like that.
Need to get this course on my list!
Executive courses are great for practicing short game, looks like a fun track to play. Honor box is very cool, nice to see...We don't have those here in the states. Nice to see you enjoy yourself regardless of the occasional mishit. I need to take that approach more often, as i also have thee occasional oops.
