  • In this video I demonstrated how to load a cattle panel using 2 ways. The first method was used to get the cattle panel home. This method will work for 3 to 4 cattle panel. These 2 methods are very easy to do.

Omg thank you sooo much!!! We was thinking we couldn’t get cattle panels on my husbands truck. This is genius. I can’t wait to show him this video tomorrow. I was upset because I thought we would have to buy the roll of whatever panels. Garden arches here we come ❤

Two very good methods. I'll use that first one, keeps the panel lower and more contained. Thanks.

HEY, Wolf6251!!! Thanks. I like that first one the best as well. I have tried both to make sure it works. I'm calmer with the first one when driving 🤣🤣🤣

Your first method worked great! I was able to get 4 panels in my Tacoma's 6ft bed and was able to keep the tail gate closed. Thanks for sharing!

We went and got two 16 foot cattle panels two weeks ago. I didn't want to spring load them with ratchet straps to close the tailgate, so I let them hang off the tailgate on both sides. I have a 6ft 3in bed on my truck, and two sandbags (left over from winter snow driving to give added traction during both 2wd and 4wd) so I put the sand bags on the inside of the folded panels. I loaded in similar fashion to how you loaded them so that the truck bed naturally holds them folded (not horizontal to the ground like I've seen others laying them). I used two ratchet straps lower on the panels to hold them in the bed and one higher up close to the cab to stabalize the top since they are 50 inches tall. I feel the straps alone would have held the panels in fine, but since the sandbags were already there no reason not to use them to sandwich the panels to the front of the truck bed. I'm the type to tie everything down double or triple what is probably needed, just don't want to lose stuff or get anyone hurt because I was in a hurry. The panels made it home great and are supporting winter squash and pumpkin arches since the these plants were threatening to take over the yard 😂. God bless! 😊🙋‍♀️💖🇺🇲

@FreedomLovinLady That sounds great. Yes, being safe is key. I have to go get rope because I'm moving a basketball goal, and I have to tie it down. I have a question: When do you plant pumpkins? I never did it before this year. I just planted one. I'm about to plant some more.

If you have a roof rack and need themto stay flat, you can use a couple 10 ft 2x4s and strap them flat on top.

Anyone ever picked up cattle panel in a Toyota Corolla? 😂
I might need to borrow a truck or just use chicken wire instead.
