Nicely done! Thank you for showing MKCE on your channel, and congrats for being the first to show V2.0! Wow, it looks like the video was uploaded only a few hours after the update went live, you did this really fast! Also: I'm really digging this cover art!
If it was possible to create a text for the ending of the reptile, it should be easy to replace the phrase "finishing bonus" with the word "fatality"....?
I always liked using the Game Genie "sweat to blood" code on the SNES version. To me, it was actually more realistic than the gallons of blood in the arcade/other versions. At the very least, nintendo should have allowed that in the game. It's not like there wasn't blood in other SNES games prior to the MK series.
MK without blood was such a dumb move from Nintendo. But I'm glad about they regognized their fault and included all the blood and gore (and good gameplay) in the great MK2 port and the following MKs!
I think that's because parents complained it was too violent.
@@greensun1334money talks, that's the only reason blood and fatalities existed in MK2!
@@RetroGamesBoy78 obviously. Removing the core content from the first part was an awful move.
Jogaço mano eu jogo mk1 até hj!!!!!!!! Parabéns, mais uma bela postagem!!!!!!!!
The music and sound effects take me back, I love this game
Sound effects was better on arcade thou
I remember getting a game genie for my Snes back in the day for Christmas; I found a code that turned the grey 'sweat' in Snes Mortal Kombat to red, and that was cool but it didn't change the 'finishing moves' into proper fatalities (Nintendo wouldn't even call them fatalities lol). When they released MK2 though, Nintendo got it right. GREAT 16 bit port.
Looks like they have learned from their mistake. MK2 on SNES was great (it still is)!
Raiden's fatality on the SNES was pretty badass though, better than the regular fatality he had IMO. The Sub-Zero one was pretty neat, though I wish it had him doing an uppercut than a standard punch (similar to MK2).
MK2 Was good on SNES, but I just didn't like that they had Johnny Cage's attire as black and red when it was black and blue.
Love your content thanks for the regular uploads
@xtrmst_01 you good?
The dream is here, I've always loved the SNES version of MK1 and I was a Megadrive owner at the time!
Why?
@@Boris82 , because I played it SO much ata friends place at the time! I can get behind all other Sega versions of M.K. but just not the 1st game sorry as I probably just got spoilt by playing the SNES version too much.
@@TheAxelay
I played both versions many many years ago and i honestly dont remember the difference between sega and smes MK1, except for the no blood on snes.
That's why i asked.
I don't know what other difference there was. I don't know why the snes version was better or not 🤷🏻
@@TheAxelay the Genesis MK1 was so much better, are you out of your mind? You must not have spent much time at the arcade because the SNES port controls horribly in comparison. The Genesis port actually plays right despite its crude looks.
@@Boris82 oh I see, well the graphics and the sound are much closer to the arcade via the SNES version ( that could debatable via the Mega CD atleast audio wise ). I found the graphics via the Megadrive/Genesis too be too washed out and dithered and the music didn't inspire me either. But when it comes to MK2, I would fully support the Sega version over Nintendo even if the SNES version is better on a technical aspect here. But that's all changed anyhow via the ROM hacks as well. Sega versions of MK rom hacks are a dime a dozen while Nintendo versions are quite rare, guess that's why this hack here stands out to me here, all good. 🙅♂️
There's one small thing that needs to be changed at the reptile Boss fight it needs to change his name from reptile to ERMAC.
Excellent SNES music and graphics looks like complete arcade
Just like SNES MK2, the SNES MK1 is such a great looking/sounding port. But MK2 has very good and arcade like gameplay too and MK1's gameplay is a desaster compared to the original! It would be awesome if somebody would be able fix the weird control issues (input lag and hitboxes) of MK1...
Nice to see old school snes hacks 😊😊
Mortal Kombat Nitros Edition in SNES, Coming Soon
Ainda sonho com isso!
If I had this game on my SNES in 1993 I'd probably die of a heart attack from amazement.
How out of shape were you in 1993?
@@mattmarzula i was like 11 lol. Ever heard of hyperbole?
@@chiarosuburekeni9325 three minutes to respond? Imagine if you ran as fast at 11 as you responded to a RUclips comment at 40. Never too late.
To have that heart attack.
@@mattmarzula It’s 7:48am where I am, I’m doing laundry and browsing the Internet on my phone. You get a notification when someone comments to you on RUclips, or at least I do. What the hell is your problem? You need to go outside and touch grass instead of trolling little insignificant comments for no reason 👎

*Maybe recolor Reptile's fire and ice attacks into bright green to emulate his poison attacks.*
I remember my brother doing this on accident. Couldn't figure it out. So before we had the internet we had Nintendo Power. Then it became a "You can use Reptile if you suck" or "You suck so bad you can use Reptile and I'll still rip your heart out with Kano".
oh man when you got to the pit...it reminds me of when I was a kid when this came out and one of my friends at school told me of the supposed rumor that there was a red ninja in the game but nobody we knew knew how to find him.
That would be because he never existed on any version of MK1.
Thus the legend of Ermac
If it was possible to create a text for the ending of the reptile, it should be easy to replace the phrase "finishing bonus" with the word "fatality"....
I grew up playing the Mega Drive versions, but admittedly the SNES ports of MK were superior pretty much in every way. MK3 especially, it's as close to the arcade as it can get on a 16 bit system.
At least there’s blood
Good video man
2 things needs to happen to this hack 1.blood needs to be on the floor after uppercut and stays on their 2.speed hack medium and this will be mortal kombat Nitro
Plus, uncensored fatalities.
@@maroon9273 u mean add fatalities to goro & shangtsung
That doesnt happen even in the arcade
@@MasterMacLeod what are u trying to say ?
@@Valentino305WorldWide hes trying to say your a fucking moron. You cannot perform fatalities on goro or shang tsung in the arcade or console versions
GREAT!!! PRAISEWORTHY WORK!!!
It nice they gave Reptile an ending, nice gameplay.
Excellent!
perfect congratulations.
Why didn’t the announcer ever say “goro wins?” Especially if it’s suppose to be Shang tsung
Do you have a link that already has these 2 Patches combined?
Back when reptile was awesome
First time CPU beating the game
I also used the action replay a lot just to see that little amount of blood.
This Reptile is what we all expected in MK 2 but were severely disappointed. Everyone loved the idea of freezing then using the spear and uppercut for a simple 3 hit combo but we were of course denied. As for this hack goes nice touch on Reptile's ending it sounds legit and it's fitting that to play as Goro and Shang Tsung you have to select their movie opponents. It also made sense to fight against "Ermac" while playing as Reptile; since he's unplayable and the game doesn't allow you to fight your clone with the exact same colors hence why it'd be an Error Macro. I'm surprised the game didn't freeze while using Goro and especially Shang Tsung with his morphing. I remember using a game genie to use them and getting errors and freezing.
With this being a champion edition hack though it'd have made sense to at least have the Dragon accessible on the character select screen for choosing Reptile, the blood code naturally enabled and extra loading speed; as well as adding some arcade elements like the intros or even the character portraits which could have been imported from the Sega version. Sounds picky on some levels but with a "hack" release it should incorporate all quality of life changes while still being true to the original game.
This hack shouldve included a GAME OVER screen.
& also it shouldve used the "throne room" theme for the Final Fight.
I highly HIGHLY doubt a lot of ppl were disappointed with the reptile we got in mk2, myself included. Awesome fatalities, and a hella lot better of a character with his own identity instead of this lame cheap version here. You must've sucked if you were disappointed to not get a character that can do all of subs n scorps moves. 😆
@@jaycogan5182 facts Rep was nice in mk 2 always disappearing and throwing that damn acid ball when u play against him 😆
I'm sorry but who wanted just a green clone of Scorpion/Sub-Zero over what we actually got?
Então o Reptale falso vira o Ermec.
I liked it better on the Sega Genesis way better 30 plus yrs later I still remember the blood code lmao. ABACABB GET OVER HERE💯
Up!
This is awesome, Reptile has always been my favorite
Me too , always thought it was crap you couldn't be reptile in the first game!
It would be better if someone fixed this game on SNES cause, SNES version of MK1 sucks. It has a big delay in input, washed out visuals and no gore. Also, the animation flow is kinda slow in comparison to other 16 bit ports, or to original game. There is literally no dynamic. You don't feel the impact from hits because of lack of dynamic. So fixing all of that would make this game better.
Is there a tutorial video on how to download it into our video game console? (Specifically a jail broken ps3)
Aonde encontro isso ? Já tentei em vários sites mas sempre vem em um arquivo de uma página em branco
Awesome game choice keep up the good work!
Did they fix the laggy snes control?
Heck ya im playing this. I forgot reptile has both scorpion and sub zero special moves in MK1.
Would have been awesome if all subsequent versions of Mortal Kombat had this moveset.
How to turn the blood on? Mine still shows sweat.
This video was incredible 👌🏼
Bloody edition back then. That rumor plagued school lol
5:40 Orange Reptile?
Ermac
Subscropreptile wins.
Flawless victory.
Fatalfreindbabeanimality.
This is awesome!
How to patch this rom, can you make a separate video tutorial?😢
Looks like Liu Kang got turned into a big pile of crap and broken into pieces, lol
I love that game but in mame32 , looks amazing!
So Reptile's 2P/Alt Skin is Ermac? That's a great nod to MK2 Ermac rumors, I guess!
Ok ok 😅 i always wished for this when i was a kid. Now the fans made it true 👍🏾 heck yeah
Is it true Mortal Kombat 1 took place on a sunny Sunday afternoon?
Hey is ERMAC in the Game?
Qual é o emulador que eu tenho que usar para rodar a hack rom?
Cool video! 😀
Apliquei o Patch, a rom funciona perfeitamente, porém não tem sangue, alguém poderia dizer o por que ? Grato !
Aplique essa patch www.romhacking.net/hacks/2885/
@@hackgameslongplaychannel Muito obrigado ! Agora sim ! Sensacional ! Sangue jorrando... kkk...
Anyway to get this on an actual cart?
i hate to say this, but there still alot of fatalities being censored, so you tried snark and the music still needs to be better and sound more like the arcade.
It be cool if you could get to fight ermac by mirror match with reptile like you did here heheh
Can you or somebody please record a video to show how to pick them on the controller
Is this a hack or a secret in game? I've never heard of nor seen this?
Hack
How do I get these hacked roms to work
Good hack, but the pit needs that gore down there!
❤️💪🏿👍🏿🙏🏿❤️
boa música
Music in this port is poor. No atmosphere. Sega version was better for music
The music for SNES version was closer to the arcade. Not saying the Genesis version was bad. Both had their own pros.
👍🏼
3:36 duuuuuun
Can you giveme the hacked rom please?
Reptile moved alot faster on Sega Genesis than Super Nintendo when he walked he toward u he always had a speed advantage n would get to u before u knew it
What emulator
Just remember some of us were playing this shit before these fgc bros were even born lol
No ERror MACro available?
I'm still waiting for the day for someone really hacks into this and makes everything correct.
jogo ja começa avisando não use o Zsnes kk esqueçam esse emulador pre historico ahuauh
From when reptile learned to say come here?
From Mk1 in 1992
aqui não roda ips
Fatalities are still censored. I'm sorry, but the Sega version is still better.
@@DoujinGameplays ah sim entendi
Snes music + sound design is WAY better than arcade.
Ummm no its not
genesis version is the best
It sounds more oriental
So it turns out that Ermac was in fact Reptiles second palette on the hack.
Green scorpion/subzero eh
MK2 got it right
Ordinarily the game would crash if you use a hack to play the bosses. I have seen it in other videos.
Still not good enough. The play control needs to be fixed, the blood still doesn’t come out and land on the ground, and the fatalities are STILL missing.
If only they could hack the SNES Mortal Kombat to not suck. That would be pretty cool.
@Chief Sitting Feather (We'z fake Indigenous!!) Apparently not, because there are countless hacks for it, yet not one of them has remedied the awful input lag.
@Chief Sitting Feather (We'z fake Indigenous!!) Agreed
For those who could not afford this game. We played eternal champions
Hahaha
Chameleon and reptile mk 1
Such a disappointment with regards to being a port, hands down Sega won this one.
There’s blood… this game is too violent.
MK1!
Deveriam colocar o msu1 de arcade fazer essa hack
La misma basura lenta y con el problema inpuglag
I have better one : MK Komplete Edition collection !
Well that was a underwhelming hack. No effort put in…
Why on Earth anyone would spend time hacking this terrible port is beyond me. This was one of worst disappointments in home port history with its wretched input delay, wonky physics and of course all the missing content. There is no good reason to ever play this version of MK again.
You're wrong
I LOVE YOUR LONGPLAYS BROTHER.
I think it would be good of you to leave download links for everything you upload
I put the links in the description of all my videos.
