A list idea that Cultaholic is welcome to steal: Ranking the best tag teams across all promotions whose name included the word "Express" at some point in their run.
@@lordbendtner6404 I want to say either Cultaholic or WhatCulture already did one with "New" tag teams a few years back. EDIT: Maybe I'm misremembering, but I checked both channels and couldn't find it. So either they took it down, I imagined it, or it was from one of the numerous other UK-based wrestling commentary channels, but if no one's done it, that'd be a great topic!
Only referenced briefly here, but I loved Head Cheese together for what it's worth. That vignette where Blackman pulls his nunchucks on a cow was one of the hardest laughs I ever got from a wrestling segment.
Low Down was great before Tiger came into the picture, but wearing turbans and Sikh attire got D'Lo rather disgusted and embarrassed as the weeks went by. He was prob relieved when Tiger got injured in January 2001.
Also Bubba and Spike Dudley shoulda got a huge tag team push during the first draft I thought. In my action figure promotion that I put on as a kid, I made a tag team of Bubba and spike who did a modification of the 3D mixed with Spikes bulldog finisher.
Blackman was perfect for the short time he was king of the hardcore division. They should have just kept him there and allow him to keep dominating. He actually got over.
I can't believe TnA was only a year before S2H and Albert teamed up!? Think this was when he started teaming with the big show as the A train? Also feel bad for X Factor as I loved their purple theme and original entrance music
And who's to blame for that neglect of Tag Teams?! Mr. Carebears villain, that's who! Vince Mcmahon haste anything that glorifies cooperation and friendship. His heroes are always backstabbing each other because they can't be competitive without being respectful and not kicking each other in the balls!
I also thought Kane/Lesnar/Brock shoulda became a faction of 3 powerhouses all managed by Paul Heyman during when Kane took his mask off and was on a power trip of crushing everyone. Coulda made a cool story line. Ending with all 3 facing off for world title, where Heyman was caught in the middle; lying to each man saying he was their manager.
Don't forget Eddie Guerrero was teaming with both Jeff and Matt hardy as well I still think till these days what would happen if he didn't get injured and fired later on was it supposed to go anywhere was Eddie Guerrero just pretending to be a good guy with the hardyz so that he could get with Lita or something like that I think a heel couple with Eddie Guerrero and Lita would have been ok
Val & Godfather were a forgotten team? Who forgot that? I'd also hardly consider a three match team (hi there Taka & JBL) a team at all. That said, I admittedly forgot about Rikishi and Haku.
Also how the hell do you have rikishi and haku in a tag team and you don't push them to be the champions for like a year. Haku legitimately would have destroyed anyone on the roster
Sad to say, but if you're gonna do disappointing tag teams from that Era. This will be part 1 of 5. Because I can think of 25 teams of the top of my head. 😉👍💯
Honestly only a handful of these are teams I forgot. I'm surprised you didn't put Techno Team 2000 on here, but I guess they were fringe. Scorpio and Terry Funk/Albert and Scotty Too Hotty/Bradshaw and Taka were the only 3 I didn't really remember.
Don’t say cactus Jack and chainsaw Charlie are forgotten… Also Booker T and Goldust RVD and Kane Edge and Hogan Rowdy Pipper and Shawn O’Haire Kane and Hurricane Helms
Facts supply and demand is an awesome name for a great tag team that could have been just like wcws vicious and delicious great name for great tag team yet no actual push smh wasted opportunity I hope wwe re uses both those names frfr I can see Braun n Seth being called vicious and delicious idk who can be paired for supply & demand though lol
I got them in the naughtiest one on this list I think it's the nuns even though they're technically men should they be the priest whatever and rest in the 90s were weird and I only started watching wrestling around the late attitude era an early roofless aggression era.
I liked the val and godfather team, it made sense and Val was one of my fav attitude era wrestler..... "Now time for my latest home movie." Back before woke culture ruined everything
Hey Adam thats not a way to commercial Nordic VPN my current local say, iam in Copenhagen or 1260 west madison callements city Chicago IL no were near were iam actually at Nord is a good service but it don't take all that but lol I get you guys don't work for free so if there paying the bill I say salute peace brothers from over the pond live ya all dig the hell out of you're shows
Calling a male actor in porn an "exploiter" is pretty sexist right? Maybe i could see calling the producer or director an exploiter,(i wouldn't personally agree with that necessarily either) but if youre saying that an actress is being exploited just by being in a film with a male actor...why is that male actor not also being exploited simply by being in a film with the female actress?
Head Cheese is one tag team that I enjoyed, Al Snow & Steve Blackman was such a ridiculous tag team that it actually worked to see them together.
for those wanting to know: list actually starts at 2:50
I remember quite liking the Rikishi and Haku pairing, they got booked pretty strongly against Undertaker and Kane
A list idea that Cultaholic is welcome to steal: Ranking the best tag teams across all promotions whose name included the word "Express" at some point in their run.
You could the same list with the word “Connection” instead lol
Jurassic Express
How bout the word new

Rock n Roll Express!

Steve Blackman for HOF.
@@jonstrine3144 INDEEEEEEED!!!!
Yes they were fun and both could go great in any match
Ken Shamrock and Steve Blackman teamed up a few times in 98 should have kept them together a little longer.
Really as much as titles changed hands then they definitely deserved it
I always wanted a Blackman/Lance Storm tag team. The promos would've been amazing!
Would've been something crazy
@@jonstrine3144 🤣
Should’ve called them “fake tough guys”
Kishi and Haku were not forgotten by me, always make them as caws if not in the games.
I also thought after 2000 rumble haku was gonna get a major push and short run for a few months
I actually really liked Low Down, I thought Tiger Ali Singh was a great heel, chin straps on the turbans were rubbish though
Low Down was great before Tiger came into the picture, but wearing turbans and Sikh attire got D'Lo rather disgusted and embarrassed as the weeks went by. He was prob relieved when Tiger got injured in January 2001.
Yeah Lo Brown actually had some good matches on the lesser shows. No one really noticed though cause they were in gimmick hell.
Tiger was awful lol
I loved the Rikishi & Haku vs Undertaker & Kane fued.
The Holly Cousins were supremely underrated
I miss the Hurricane and Rosie even though that wasn't even attitude era
I did video about Matt cardona every nwa title defence can you watch it
That was a fun time. Hurricanes work with rock was dope. Greg helms run in cruiserweight was fire too 🔥
All I remember of lo down was it was the entrance video for de lo brown on one of the SmackDown games on the ps1
I gotta Say out of all the pairings on this list
Val Venus and the godfather makes the most sense in every universe
Also Bubba and Spike Dudley shoulda got a huge tag team push during the first draft I thought.
In my action figure promotion that I put on as a kid, I made a tag team of Bubba and spike who did a modification of the 3D mixed with Spikes bulldog finisher.

No mention of Owen and Jarrett. Truly forgotten tag team.
I'm currently watching attitude Era it's so fucking good
New Gen Era had some of the worst Tag Teams. The 95 Rumble was just Michaels, Bulldog and a bunch of shit tag teams. Love it!
I did video about Matt cardona every nwa title defence can you watch it
95 rumble is rough
I can't believe TnA was only a year before S2H and Albert teamed up!? Think this was when he started teaming with the big show as the A train? Also feel bad for X Factor as I loved their purple theme and original entrance music
I liked the Southern Justice gimmick. Especially with Jarrett.
#1 is the most crucial inclusion on any of yr lists ever! Hails!
Lo Down in their original form were pretty decent. They were like athletic high flyers.
Haku with the doo of doom!
His son's as well.
What I don't get about *Funk University* is why they didn't just call themselves "The new Funk brothers" Terry Funk and Flash Funk.
"Funk U" sounds like swears though
@@oscarx-ray3545 That's The Joke

Lesnar/Brock?
Lesnar and Brock would be an incredible tag team, like undertaker and the American bad ass
@@ghostmark2005 Ezekiel n Elias anyone
@@lordbendtner6404 Kane teaming up with the big red machine
The Low Down,was so underrated
Rikishi and Haku were pretty well known as a team
0:01 Rena standing next to all her friends
The Godfather and Val Venis also joined forces with the Right To Censor tho….
Most annoying entrance music of all time
The Flying Nuns happen in early 1997 and WWF was still in the New generation era not the Attitude Era yet.
Shotgun Saturday Night. Ah, those old times. *removes nostalgia goggles*
Some teams could have been really good but some things were out of wwe control like injuries
Why weren't they called "The Funks"? Terry Funk and Flash Funk.
Diddler for H.O.F
Don't forget Eddie Guerrero was teaming with both Jeff and Matt hardy as well I still think till these days what would happen if he didn't get injured and fired later on was it supposed to go anywhere was Eddie Guerrero just pretending to be a good guy with the hardyz so that he could get with Lita or something like that I think a heel couple with Eddie Guerrero and Lita would have been ok
Loved Haku & Rikishi
How did they not have X-Factor on this list
Don't think that's a forgotten tag team
Holey F I remember the flying Nuns and I probably shouldn't
Shotgun Saturday Night was awesome...wtf do you know?!
Is velocity/ the Saturday morning recap show or Saturday night shotgun available on wwe network?
Skip to 2:48 to avoid the sponsor shoutout.
Didn't Terry funk team with Bradshaw for a little bit? I swear I remember that happening I could be wrong though.

Albert was a face but later turned heel
Think he was face during invasion angle, the break up of him and test was fleetingly mentioned but barely
Supply and demand should of been honestly tag Champs smh such a wasted opportunity frfr
2:52 For the actual start of the video.
