I waa with Samson's Seminar 12/13/2023 3 days. Got to roll with him in no gi & gi. Great guy, really good at what he does of course. Hope him the best & Success. recently. He was visiting the country and has seminars here in Bohol philippines. Manila & pangasinan . He said that they both knew each other and train since they were kids. He actually injured his minicus while training with tainan. Accidents and injuries happens all the time in bjj.
Both of these guys are so good. Being a fellow middleweight I appreciate and learn so much watching these two. Seen Rolando compete in real life and the dude is a super nice guy. Straight killers, both of these guys!
I applaud his efforts and performance. However, the development of his body, stamina, and nipples suggests steroid use. I'm a fan of his, but he should be properly tested for steroids. I hope he continues to be active with a healthy appearance whether or not he has been on steroids. Many athletes are on steroids, It is 'illegal' in competition, and also 'unfair'. This will come back as a bad result for themselves someday, Growing children will also learn to take steroids. This is very serious. There are many athletes who do not take steroids and that is the rule. Breaking the rules and winning is dishonorable and fake. I hope everyone knows this. After the 'IBJJF World Tournament' is over, it would be nice if the champions would have an on-the-spot steroid test. (This is because steroid testing outside of competition season can lower steroid levels.) Steroid tests are quite expensive, but I believe this integrity will help strengthen the trust and brand of IBJJF.
Why don't we just all let use steorids? Then the playing field is even! We wouldn't have to test or be concerned who's juicing or not. Nobody has an advantage if everybody juices (I think they already are).
It's kinda hard, I've started training BJJ a couple months ago, I'm just a novice white belt. And I know that a lot of people in the academy use steroids, so if even random purple belts are using it is dificult to imagine elite black belt world champion fighters to not use it... kinda sad too
@@Threewlz that’s why I decided quite a while ago not to compete. I’m never going to take steroids, so my chances of getting to an elite level are basically zero. And Local small time competitions are too dangerous and meaningless to risk some stranger injuring me because he treats it like it’s a world championship.
@@jiujitsustudent604 yeah, I mean, hell.. even only training you get injured. I've my foot a month ago and it's never fully recovered, injured my leg as well... I really like the sport but it can get frustrating, I don't live on BJJ, I'm not a competitor, so I need my body well to work and study, live a life..

Dang. Tainan is a beast no doubt. But, Rolando's balance and mobility is incredible. Wow. Amazing BJJ fighters..I look up them both.

Se você for lá e finalizar o Tainan, aí eu concordo com você e mudo meu nome para Guilherme .
I think its time to start comparing him to roger gracie! His results in the Gi cant be compared to anyone else
