In this video, we’re going to talk about transdermal magnesium oil.
Many people take transdermal magnesium oil for:
• Joint pain relief
• Muscle pain
• Leg cramps
• Fibromyalgia
While transdermal magnesium is good for people who overtrain when working out, if these issues are ongoing, it would be beneficial to consider a deeper cause.
Fibromyalgia is almost always connected to the gallbladder.
The purpose of magnesium is to provide a mineral for over 400 enzymes that generate ATP, repair DNA and RNA, promote muscle relaxation and nerve conductivity, and help with the production of muscle protein.
You also need magnesium to make vitamin D work. Vitamin D is one of the main anti-inflammatory vitamins.
Symptoms of low magnesium:
• Loss of appetite
• Arrhythmia
• Fatigue
• Weak
• Tremors
• Muscle cramps
• High blood pressure
Foods rich in magnesium:
• Spinach
• Chard
• Leafy greens
• Pumpkin seeds
• Sunflower seeds
• Avocado
• Almonds
You should be doing intermittent fasting and healthy keto.

Hi, I am a follower from Morocco. Your channel is very wonderful
Hemp seeds are the richest source of magnesium and so is sesame seed
Pumpkin seeds too
Raw wholegrain yep there real high tho watch the salt levels its surprising very high too
Epsom salts have a lot more Magnesium than sesame seeds
I rather eat 200 gram of cooked spinach to get the same amount
How ironic. Every week I take a magnesium bath. That makes a huge difference.
that works about the same as the spray
In what if I may ask...? Not doubting some efficacy of the stuff, but I'm also pretty sure people can feel much better for the mere act of doing something for themselves, in this case pampering themselves in a good long bath. Don't get me wrong, it's good to do stuff for yourself every once in a while; after all, what would life be like without ice cream...?

The question you need to be asking all of these people you meet with fibromyalgia is “have you taking a floraquinolone antibiotic -ie Cipro or Levafloxin” Surely you know this. And it absolutely makes me furious that more doctors aren’t picking up on this and Any doctor that is still prescribing these medications should lose their license. But I understand a lot of doctors a lot of nutritionist etc. won’t cross that line with big Pharma. If you aren’t aware of what these antibiotics due to the system and how they create all of these Autoimmune disorders I suggest that you educate yourself so that you may possibly prevent some of this illness rather than having to fix the results left behind by these toxic antibiotics

But is transdermal the best way to take magnisium?
On the rare occasion that I am woken up with leg cramps, I will spray my legs with 15-20 sprays of Mg oil. It stops them immediately. I am not eating vegetables or nuts anymore and I actually have not been getting as many leg cramps as I was. I do take an oral magnesium bisglycinate. That works better for me than the citrate form did.
When I spray the oil on it burns. Does it burn on your skin??
@@SilverDustCD does for me but it feels noticeably looser five mins later
@@SilverDustCD If it burns you are low , but eventually it will stop burning as you continue to restore your mag levels.
Why are you not eating vegetables or nuts
Try drinking salted water 45 mins before meals
5th t spoon per cup water . 2 or 3 cups 10 mins apart . Last cup 20 mins before eating
This will help you digest the nuts and veg right and also absorb the magnesium out of them . This is natural maammmmm
What about magnesium chloride flakes? can we mix it in water and use as magneium supplement ?
Yazid, yes, you can. It is called magnesium oil. Mix it with filtered hot water, cool down, put in glass bottle & apply twice a day on your skin.

Is it effective to take Epsom salt baths for transdermal intake of magnesium?
Yes it is , I used to do a lot of yoga and started taking epsom salt baths for soreness but it helped with many other symptoms too.
@@lorenamaya9544 I purchased a tub of magnesium sulphate for garden use, (although it says on the label for general veterinary use only}, and I have been using it in my bath. Many thanks.
not good if you have CBS gene mutation or sulfur reactions/allergies.
Mostly it is absorbed by the perineum and Anus- not much by the skin.
Magnesium chloride
*Mag is so underestimated!*
You did not even say if magnesium transdermaly absorbs good?
Yes, I was hoping he would mention magnesium flakes for the bath also, based on the thumbnail.

I take it transdermal as well and experience a huge benefit much more than when I take it internally. Even heart palpitations and anxiety go down instantly.

Due to gut issues and MCAS, I can not take things orally without side effects. So I have started using MgChloride Flakes mixed with H2o aka Mg Oil. So for some of us we have to use topical.
im wondering if i can really reverse my deficiency with just topical?
@@pulsefiendI reversed mine with magnesium oil. I prefer this method much more than oral and it is much less expensive. I apply it once a day on my whole body and am able to get 1000mg in one full body application. When I give my wife a full body massage with magnesium oil and mag lotion, it is much more effective than oral magnesium which tends to just give her diarrhea. I trust the information Dr Carolyn Dean MD/ND provides about magnesium much more than any other doctor I've seen. She actually sells an oral magnesium but is extremely honest about the efficacy of transdermal. In her research of magnesium, she found that people who often swam in the ocean had the highest magnesium levels in their red blood cells. This is due to absorbing the magnesium from the ocean transdermally. I swear by this method versus oral supplementation and have been doing it for years. It reversed my panic attacks and anxiety rather immediately.

Here's my question unrelated to this video - I saw a documentary of a tribe in Africa living as Hunter gatherers. They consume very little amount of water as it's not available. They mostly consume meat. But they are healthy and those old guys have similar energy as average guy in mid twenties in the west. How do these vegetarian and "10 glasses of water a day" people explain this phenomenon?
I'm sure their dna has adapted to that climate to survive on less water. Did you see them drinking animal milk?...blood of their meat?
@@carolinemcallister1473 they hunt wild animals and didn't saw any domestication of animals. So I'd say no about milk and blood probably yes.
@@carolinemcallister1473 if our body can adapt to environment optimally.. We shouldn't be so pushy about veganism or drinking water. We should just listen to our body what it needs I guess

What God has not created, I won't eat so no fruit juice or soda for over 30yrs.Why would I eat when I am not hungry or drink when not thirsty? Makes no sense, our bodies are perfectly made. The bottom line is these cultures, eat what is available naturally to them, they might not have money, but they are not stressed, living a simple life. We need to get back to basis.

Very informative 👌 thanks Dr Berg 🌸💕
I find the itching satisfying knowing my body is getting what it wants.
Hi, I am trying to understand 'how much magnesium chloride' is in the various brands of Magnesium Oil (that I will use to appy to my body parts aka Transdermal Magnesium). These Magnesium Oil products dont seem to consistently display such important info. E.g.
one brand says "60% magnesium chloride formula", another says "1ml contains 450mg of magnesium chloride --> which means 120mg of elemental magnesium", and -another says "30ml contains 2500mg of actual magnesium", and another "35% Magnesium chloride, Magnesium Elemental 7 - 8%, Calcium Elemental 0.54%, Sodium Elemental 0.16%, Magnesium oxide 0.1% ".
Hard to compare apples to apples. Of course each brand "claims" there product is the 'purest', and highly concentrated.
is there a formula I can use compare each of these statements, so feel confident comparing apple to apple. Thankyou
I picked the magnesium chloride oil recommended by Dr. Mark Sircus which is Ancient Minerals and available on Amazon. He has various videos on it.
Make your own, it is very cheap.
So which would be better? Aqueous magnesium sulphate (Epsom sulphate) or aqueous magnesium chloride?
Mag chloride

@@acolley2891 actually magnesium oil is much, much more affordable than Epsom salts. A single bottle of magnesium oil will last me a month while using copious amounts daily. Epsom salts cost me more in a week than magnesium oil costs me in 2 months. The amount of magnesium I absorb with the oil is far greater than what I absorb through baths. The study "Myth or Reality-Transdermal Magnesium?" by Uwe Gröber et alii reviews the scientific literature on transdermal magnesium and concludes there is almost no absorption.
You should eat whole foods or take it orally instead.
So which is the best type then? Because unless you grow your own food in highly nutrient dense soil, you're really not going to get a sufficient amount of magnesium from food...
@@aliveandwell3958 You're right. If you can't get it from food, you should take an oral supplement then - it's much more efficient than applying it on skin. You can buy it in different forms. If you buy magnesium chlorate, you should dissolve 33 g in a liter of water and drink 50 ml per dose, up to 3 times a day.
@@meusisto Okay thank you!
@@meusisto What are your thoughts on mag glycinate though?
@@aliveandwell3958 Glycinate is better than chlorate form, because it's chelated, that means it's better absorbed by the body. Mag. malate has two useful compounds: mag. itself and also malic acid, good to the health. And there is mag. What about the anti nutrients in the spinach and greens? Does this effect the absorbtion for some of these minerals?
In spinach, yes. The question is to what degree. Spinach is very high in oxalates which binds to some minerals. Magnesium being one of them.
Also, nuts and seeds generally have a lot of phytic acid which chelates to some minerals. Magnesium being one of those.
Seafood is also a good source of magnesium. Tuna fish being one of the best. Salmon is also decent. Wild caught.
@@Quaerite.Intellectum if it binds, that is not a good thing right?
@@fair98fair Correct. When the mineral is bound (AKA chelated) to oxalates or phytic acid it prevents the body from using that mineral.

A "Non-Medical Doctor" Giving Medical Advice... This should be illegal..
Our medical system has let us down, since it seems to be bought and paid for by the pharmaceutical industry. I’ll take Dr. Berg’s advice any day of the week.
@Sandy Castles Pseudo-Science Nutrition Advice.
However you can't argue his kind hearted knowledge which she decided to follow worked. Adults can listen, read, & EVEN research research information found on this & numerous channels here, in books, articles etc and find the help that their Drs. have been unable to supply because they don't have such knowledge. That's not their forte. I was attending medical PROFESSIONALS 15+ years to no avail except for many different med side effects, plus still having original health issues + some more. Then l found people on RUclips who had learned so much & gladly passed on their knowledge & experiences. They had already learned from Dr. Bergman, Dr.Berg, Dr.William Davis, & Dr. Berry wonderful channels. People helping people all caring one for the other. Some Drs. Some commenters, some from Alternative Practioners. So take what you find beneficial, leave what you don't. Pass on encouragement with a kind word where you can. I'm soo grateful to the many who have channels for all their time & effort & to the thousands of commenters who have helped & directed me to the next video or channel l needed to take the next forward step towards better health in every sense of the word💝
@@saints82 Would you replace medical professionals with Chiropractors such as Mr Berg? Example: If you break a leg, do you want to still go to a hospital and get medical treatment from a real doctor?
@@googleuser3620 not a valid argument. If this is what you believe what the H are you doing here?
Great information! 👍 Thanks, Dr. Berg
