How to boot Asus Labtop X541U from USB drive or CD-ROM

This Video shows step by step how to set the bios for example, a laptop ASUS X541U, the way I show all BIOS settings as they should be set to boot from the CD before it was possible to run a hard drive. The optical drive must be booted before the drive.

Go to boot menu by pressing F2 and turn off fast boot by deleting the boot option selected for fast.. That'll do the work..

@Tecyfirm This didn't work for me because I formatted the partition and the boot loader is not on a ROM-chip. Only after I started to format my drive did I think that the partition might be there. What can be done if the partition has been deleted? Do you know if the drive can salvage as a boot disk?

Mine doesn't have the LAUNCH CSM so i just had to put cd boot in default and HDD in secondary and restart... after i'm finished i reset that to boot from HDD
