Was this posted just cause he mentions the Chiefs? Awesome
Love when Paul Rudd says, upon viewing the clip, he looks more Nick Rhodes than Simon Le Bon.
I believe that the term he is looking for is “Zubaz pants”.
Paul Rudd: On a line, yelling "LINE!"
This is WAY better than his ‘Mac and Me’ clip.
If this channel has noticed an uptick in views, that's me.
Weird to see him intro a clip from something and it was actually something he was in.
So not a clip from 'Mac and Me"?
@@weaksignal8009 If I wanted to say that I would have.
@@BoogieKnight815 Yeah, the clip he always showed on Conan was “Mac and me”. You don’t have to be a douche. Just leave your original comment and move on - you’re not as funny as you’d like to think, apparently.
@@markread7333 I like being courteous and responding to the people that are replying and explaining my own joke back to me.
Paul Rudd appeared in a movie where I was born.
The full movie Gen-Y Cops is on RUclips. Looks pretty funny tbh.
Rudd essentially looking exactly the same as he does now
We'll be right back with Gretchen Mol.
Search for "Jimmy Fallon & Paul Rudd vs Styx Too Much Time on My Hands" Paul sings good !
R.I.P. Paul😢
He's not quite dead yet...
When was this??
Glazed the ham with what?...lol Single Malt Glenfiddich?🥃
The unchangeable Paul Rudd

the Ant - Man 🐜
Won’t be in Gen Z Cops.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Sure there will!
But it will just consist of people ‘arresting’ each other while they argue online.

dam , this is old ! later
Seems like this interview was heavily scripted beforehand, which I expect from talk shows nowadays, but I always thought Letterman was more of a let’s just wing it host.
That was the magic of Dave; relentless preparation was expected for his segment producers, and hopefully the guest as well. (Some were better at it than others)
It was big time TV and Dave and his exec producers expected everyone to bring their A-game.
THEN the x-factor…Dave’s razor sharp wit, which was a massive part in creating the ‘wing it’ feeling you describe. A fascinating formula.
@@thelettermanpodcast You’re right and most of the time it worked really smoothly. This was one interview that seemed clumsy to me though as if it were all laid out and nobody wanted to deviate from the script. That’s the chance with some guests, I guess, some could make the prep appear spontaneous and some not.
@@ProfessorEchoMedia Totally. It would be interesting to see whom else was on the show that night. If this indeed was Paul’s first appearance and it was to promote a Broadway show, (it’s probable that Julia Roberts was on around this time as well) there would be a lot of factors at play; Paul was not the immortal-daywalking-vampire A-lister he is now, so was most likely nervous as all get out. And while Dave always tried to make folks shine, the one segment interviews at the end of the show were more difficult to create that rapport with.
Is channel, and discussion for that matter, is such an interesting time capsule.
