So many artists and bands before they were popular.
I was a latch kid in the 80s, and I would turn on David Letterman! The TV was up loud, and fell asleep until my Mom came home~Thank You David (you made me feel safe, with the TV on)
David Letterman was the opening act of a concert when I was in college (late 70s - early 80s). The headliner? Ray Charles. To this day, it is the only performance that I wanted to immediately buy tickets to see the show again. An unlikely pairing and both gave A+ performances.
That must have been fantastic!
